Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 152: Chapter 151: Envy and Jealousy

Zifeng had only been there for a few days, and first, Fan Jian had suffered at his hands, followed by the president delivering money, and now even the IT department head Mu Yang, who was reputed to be one of the top ten beauties in the company, had actively come knocking on his door. After knowing him for less than two days, what kind of monster was Zifeng?

This question baffled every security guard in the security department.

Even Jia Zhenjing, who had worked in the company for over a decade, was somewhat puzzled. He heard that this guy also had connections with President Nangong, and through observations over these days, they had all clearly seen Zifeng’s character.

Zifeng was a man who never showed off or postured, and was remarkably generous, always pushing good deeds onto his fellow security brothers. How come such an impressive person only came to Tianyu to be a little-known security guard?

Could it really be as he proclaimed with grandiose words, taking pride in Tianyu?

A group of security guards all hid not far away, quietly watching everything going on around Zifeng, with some even itching in their hearts, inwardly shouting: Bring her down! Bring her down! Bring her down!

It was just a pity that Zifeng really didn’t want to provoke her.

”Yo, Manager Mu is really early today, huh?”

Zifeng took a sip of cool water and teased, ”For someone as rich as Manager Mu, you’re willing to eat buns with us rough-skinned security guys?”

Mu Yang angrily bit into a bun with her red lips and retorted, ”What? Just because you guys can eat buns, I can’t? Don’t underestimate us women. Whatever men can eat, I can eat just the same.”

Watching Mu Yang’s somewhat contorted face, Zifeng was even somewhat afraid for a certain part of himself! The vicious way she bit into the bun was unheard of. Who eats a bun as if it were an enemy like that?

”Alright! If you love eating them, there are two more buns here. Go ahead and nibble on these too.”

”Your way of talking is really disgusting. What do you mean ’nibble’?”

Mu Yang gave him a slight glare. It seemed that even a kind word turned sour in this man’s mouth.

Zifeng swallowed and deliberately averted his gaze from her chest, leisurely smoking a cigarette without paying attention to her.

After several times of nearly gagging, Mu Yang still endured the urge not to vomit and finally managed to finish off the bun.

Her delicate actions were as if she had eaten a dozen things specific to men, as coquettish as coquettish could be.

Seeing her like this, Zifeng felt a little pity and said, ”If you can’t eat anymore, then don’t force yourself. Why torture yourself like that?”

”You care about me?”

Good heavens! As soon as Zifeng told her to stop eating, lo and behold, Mu Yang put on a flirty face, looking into Zifeng’s eyes with a playful smile.

”I care about everyone just like this.”

Zifeng wasn’t foolish; Mu Yang was clearly here to seduce him. If he really fell for her tricks, then all his experiences overseas would have been for nothing.

”Zifeng, do you have time tonight? How about you come to my place? I’ll cook bull pizzles for you.”

Mu Yang blew a seductive breath on purpose, leaning her cheeks close to Zifeng’s face, her tone full of ambiguity.

Bull pizzles? Zifeng was dumbfounded upon hearing this.

”And oysters too. They stimulate male hormones, you know. Giggle,”

Seeing Zifeng’s face turn slightly red, Mu Yang suddenly found this man cuter than she had imagined, and blew another warm breath into his ear.

If Zifeng were still the naive young man he used to be, he probably wouldn’t hesitate to fall into Mu Yang’s trap of ambiguous seduction. But having experienced more and learned more, his self-control was naturally much stronger than the average person’s.

He chuckled, ”Tonight my wife is waiting for me to go home and pay my dues to her.”

Zifeng gazed at her with a certain look, eyes bright and firm.

”Ha, don’t try to fool me. You think I don’t know about your background?”

Mu Yang teasingly left Zifeng hanging, sitting unladylike on the table with a provocatively playful manner, she gently touched his chin with her finger and softly said, ”The man I set my eyes on, I always get.”

After that, she left with a swaying hip, laughing merrily, her voice like something out of a film about a harpy. She was simply decisive, straightforward, unpretentious. Perhaps only these words could describe her at that moment.

Zifeng inwardly sighed. He had grown so big and it was the first time a woman had teased him. Despite showing all sorts of behavior that would put off women, why was Mu Yang so persistent with him? Zifeng just couldn’t figure it out.

With Mu Yang’s departure, the security department staff were like they had gobbled up mad cow dung, cheering and singing praises about how awesome Zifeng was, with even the IT department head Mu Yang coming over to seduce him.

This really made some people envious and resentful.

The carefree morning hours of the security guards quickly passed by.

Around twelve o’clock, Jia Zhenjing approached Zifeng, acting all smug, and asked, ”Brother Lin, where are you going for lunch today?”

”The company cafeteria, duh!”

Zifeng found his question a bit strange, since they normally ate inside the company. Why was he asking where he was going to have lunch? Could it be that this guy was feeling charitable today and wanted to treat Zifeng to a meal?

A bunch of rascals, with noses like dogs, immediately crowded around, all with mischievous smiles on their faces, chuckling, ”Lin bro, that’s not very cool of you. You’ve hooked up with Manager Mu, so shouldn’t you treat us all to a meal, at least?”

It seemed Zifeng had guessed right; these guys were just talking nonsense.

No choice, since he had some spare cash on him, Zifeng generously said, ”Let’s go, we’ll hit up that little restaurant outside the company!”

Zifeng took the lead, and the herd of animals behind him were stunned. They were expecting a proper restaurant, at least...
