After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2298: Chapter 2302: Zirui, Fire

Leng Zimo frowned, his eyes full of icy coldness. ”Zirui, shoot!”

”If you shoot, both he and I will die!” Luo Ke stood with his back to Leng Zirui. ”If you don’t want him to die, then put the gun... down!”

”No!” Leng Zimo roared anxiously, ”Kill him, Zirui, kill him!”

Leng Zirui clenched his teeth, staring at the ring pressed against Leng Zimo’s neck, then suddenly raised his hand and flung the gun far away.

”Luo Ke, I’m warning you, if you dare lay a finger on my brother, I’ll tear you into pieces.”

Luo Ke let out a vicious laugh. ”Now, take five steps back.”

Leng Zirui ground his teeth and backed away.

Luo Ke pulled Leng Zimo up from the ground, the poisonous ring in his hand still pressed against Zimo’s throat.

”You’re really angry?” Looking at Leng Zimo’s expression, Luo Ke only chuckled lightly. ”Leng Zimo, do you know why you lost?”

”I haven’t lost yet!” Leng Zimo said coldly.

”The reason you lose is that even though your surname is Leng, you’re still not cold enough. If you hadn’t gone to save Jiao Yang earlier, I never could’ve taken Xiao Qian. If, when you first infiltrated the island, you hadn’t considered your brother, you could’ve just poisoned my food and killed me...” Luo Ke laughed darkly. ”Too bad you didn’t, because you always have to think about other people—friendship, family... all of that is dead weight, and it’s those useless feelings that made you lose.”

Circling around behind Leng Zimo, Luo Ke grabbed him with one hand, while the other still pressed the poisonous fang against his throat.

The venom inside the fang had already overflowed, smearing onto Leng Zimo’s skin.

”Cold-blooded animals like you could never understand any of that,” Leng Zimo said.

”I don’t need to understand it. I just need to win.” Luo Ke’s lips curled in smug triumph. ”Today, both you brothers are going to die. Then I’ll go kill your son and take Sissi away with me. I’ll watch your daughter be born with my own eyes and tell her that I’m her father, ha...”

”Let him go. I’ll be your hostage.” Leng Zirui shouted.

Luo Ke lifted his head, looking at Leng Zirui, and chuckled. ”No. Right now, I’m the director. I want you to pick up the gun on the ground and shoot yourself. Otherwise, I’ll kill your big brother right in front of you.”

”Despicable!” Leng Zimo cursed.

”Despicable... I remember Sissi called me that too. I like that word.” Luo Ke smiled as he looked at Leng Zirui in the distance. ”Well? Aren’t you starting? Or do you want to watch with your own eyes as your big brother dies foaming at the mouth from poison?”

These two brothers both deserved to die; he didn’t intend to let either of them go.

Leng Zirui bent down, walked over, and picked up the gun from the ground.

”Leng Zirui!” Leng Zimo bellowed, ”Are you insane?!” ℴ𝒗ⅇ𝑙.

”What else can I do?” Leng Zirui gripped the gun, his expression blazing as he took two steps toward him. ”You expect me to just stand here and watch you die? If you die, how the hell am I supposed to face Xiao Qian, face Mo Mo? Am I supposed to tell him his uncle was useless, that I couldn’t save his dad, that I watched him die right in front of me and couldn’t do a thing?”

”You fucking idiot, if we both die, what about Father? Who’s going to take care of Mo Mo and Xiao Xiao?” Leng Zimo was worked up too.

”You dare scold me? Who’s my mom? My mom is your mom too!” Leng Zirui took another two steps toward him, then suddenly jerked the gun up, pressing it to his own temple. His bright eyes shone as he stared at Leng Zimo. ”Bro... I’m sorry!”
