After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2288: Chapter 2292: He Will Protect You

After hanging up the phone, Leng Zirui immediately pulled Xu Xia to the police car, opened the rear door, and stuffed her inside.

He held onto the car door with both hands, ”Now, I’m going to chase Luo Ke. You stay here obediently. Luo Ke will be here soon, and by then, he will protect you.”

”Then...”

Leng Zirui reached to take out the small handgun from his body and stuffed it into the holster under her skirt.

”Old rule, don’t take it out easily unless absolutely necessary. Take good care of yourself and wait for my return.”

Xu Xia nodded solemnly, ”Be careful.”

”Don’t worry.” Leng Zirui closed the car door for her, walked over to instruct two police officers, and then strode to the dock. After showing his credentials, he borrowed a speedboat from the dock management.

Jumping onto the speedboat, he directly started it and headed out to sea.

Xu Xia sat inside the police car, watching as the speedboat moved further away, the worry on her face growing deeper.

...

...

On the ocean.

A speedboat quickly headed towards deeper waters, with only one person on board.

A black suit, silver white hair swept up by the sea breeze, and a pair of dark green eyes full of coldness on a handsome face, it was none other than Luo Ke, who had previously fled the cemetery.

Knowing that the other party would certainly control his castle and company, Luo Ke did not escape into Rome City. After leaving the cemetery, he immediately rushed to the nearby dock and seized a speedboat to leave.

His destination was the island.

Luo Ke knew that this island was also unsafe.

However, there were too many things on the island that he had to destroy. If those files fell into the hands of the police, he would be doomed.

Luo Xiaoqian was rescued, and he was cornered to this extent. At this moment, Luo Ke’s mood was extremely gloomy.

Seeing the distant island gradually becoming clearer, he sped up, steering the speedboat into the dock and rushing straight onto the beach.

”Sir!”

His subordinates left on the beach had already noticed his figure and immediately ran to greet him.

”Where’s the butler?” Luo Ke asked coldly.

”Sir!”

The butler hurried out of the villa and came before Luo Ke, followed by Adam and a group of bodyguards.

Leng Zimo watched Luo Ke’s figure through the glass, immediately got up, and walked into the bathroom, took out the satellite phone left by Ah Qi, quickly edited a text message, and sent it out.

Message content: Luo Ke returned to the island, a total of nine people including me on the island, two maids.

Recipient: ROY.

After sending the message, he immediately took out a plastic bag from his pocket, wrapped the phone, and placed it in the toilet tank, before coming out of the bathroom again.

”Prepare the plane, bring the money, we are leaving here immediately.” Luo Ke brought everyone into the living room and immediately gave a deep order.

”Sir?” Adam glanced at the maids, ”What about them?”

Luo Ke’s eyes narrowed slightly, ”Tie them all up and kill them, bring the money, prepare the weapons, fill up the plane with fuel... now, execute immediately!”

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately dispersed and began to act.

Two people rushed to grab the two maids and dragged them towards the door, just as Leng Zimo also stepped out. One person immediately pointed a gun at his head.

Leng Zimo pretended to be scared, but one hand was already quietly reaching for the gun at his waist.

”NO, NO, NO!” Adam rushed over, shielding Leng Zimo with his body, ”Don’t kill him, Mr. Luo Ke, don’t kill him. We are short on manpower right now. Why not keep him? He told me he wants to join us.”
