After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2293: Chapter 2297: Perilous Moment (4)

”Leng Zimo!” Luo Ke shouted Leng Zimo’s name loudly, then started firing towards the forest, ”Today, you cannot possibly survive...”

In the forest, Leng Zimo clutched the dagger tightly and lay on the ground, letting the bullets whistle over his head, remaining motionless.

He didn’t want to escape; Leng Zimo knew very well that if the police arrived, Luo Ke wouldn’t die.

Luo Ke wanted to kill him, and just like Luo Ke, he wanted Luo Ke dead too.

Today, he must die!

Taking advantage of the gap during Luo Ke’s shooting, Leng Zimo carefully got up and quickly moved towards the edge of the forest, in the direction of the helipad.

Luo Ke finished a round of shooting without noticing any response, immediately leading the butler into the forest, while the other bodyguards also rushed in with their guns to start searching for Leng Zimo’s traces.

Meanwhile, on one side of the island, Leng Zirui had already managed to reach the shore successfully, jumped off the speedboat, and listened carefully for a moment, easily hearing the gunfire from over on the island.

”Big brother!”

Worriedly murmuring, Leng Zirui rushed towards the direction of the gunfire.

Leng Zimo carefully reached the edge of the forest, glanced around to see no one, took a deep breath, and ran out of the woods, over to the side of the helicopter, and patted the cabin door.

The pilot suspiciously looked at him through the window, and upon recognizing his face, reached for his gun, but Leng Zimo’s dagger was already there first, slitting his throat.

After dealing with the pilot, he pulled the man from the cockpit and threw him to the ground under the aircraft, took the headset, placed it on himself, and started the helicopter.

The helicopter’s rotor blades began to turn slowly, then faster, whipping up strong winds, and the helicopter lifted off, turning towards the forest.

Leng Zimo quickly familiarized himself with the operating system, turning on the searchlight, which instantly bathed a large area of the forest in bright light.

Upon hearing the helicopter, Luo Ke and his men looked up in shock.

”Sir, be careful!”

Seeing that it was Leng Zimo piloting the helicopter, the butler rushed over and tackled Luo Ke to the ground.

In the helicopter, Leng Zimo had already activated the weapon system, and the hidden machine guns protruded from the open aircraft bay.

Rat-a-tat-tat!

He pressed the weapon switch on the handle, and bullets started firing towards the forest like a stream of beads.

The dense bullets shot into the forest; two bodyguards standing in a relatively open area were immediately hit and riddled with bullets.

Even the butler protecting Luo Ke took several bullets in the back and spasmed before dying on the spot.

”Get to the house, fetch the heavy weapons!”

Having escaped death under the butler’s protection, Luo Ke climbed up with the butler’s body on his back, shouting orders to the remaining subordinates, who snapped back to attention and followed him to the second-floor entrance.

Leng Zimo piloted the helicopter, following and relentlessly firing at them.

The bullets hit the ground, the walls...blasting them apart and shattering into pieces.

One of the men was hit in the leg, fell to the ground, and never got up again.

Luo Ke and his men retreated towards the second floor using cover, occasionally firing back at the helicopter.

Yet, because Leng Zimo’s side had much more intensive firepower and was at a higher vantage point, their bullets did not have much effect, with only Luo Ke’s large gun posing some threat, but more often just hitting the helicopter’s walls without harming Leng Zimo.
