After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 2264: Chapter 2268: Good Son

Holding the little one’s soft hand, Luo Xiaoqian bent down and kissed his little face several times, ”Mom believes that your dad can definitely do it.”

”Mom, you don’t remember the things from before, do you?” Luo Jun looked up at her.

Luo Xiaoqian touched his little head apologetically, ”I’m sorry, Mo Mo, Mom really doesn’t remember. But Mom has heard Dad talk about you, knows your name is Mo Mo, and... Mom loves you very much, truly very much.”

The little one leaned his small head against her arm, ”Mo Mo loves Mom too.”

”Good boy.” Luo Xiaoqian held him emotionally.

”Mom, don’t worry. I’ll tell you everything I know. Oh, and from the time I was born, Mom recorded plenty of videos. When we get back, Mom can watch those videos and photos to see what I was like as a baby.”

Luo Xiaoqian gently ruffled his hair, ”Okay.”

Leaning on her, smelling the familiar scent and fragrance from her, Luo Jun unknowingly closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Then, he had a dream, a dream with Dad and Mom...

He wore a smile, laughed.

Luo Xiaoqian tilted her head, watching him, took the blanket Ah Sang handed over, and gently covered him with it, her lips also curving up.

Supporting him, she turned her face, looking towards the direction where the little island could no longer be seen.

”Zimo, you must come back soon.”

...

...

On the island.

Leng Zimo watched as the plane flew farther, until it could no longer be seen, then took out the satellite phone from his body and dialed ROY’s current number.

On the other end, Leng Zirui had just returned to the villa, went upstairs, and glanced at the phone number on the screen, recognizing it was from the island’s phone. He lifted his hand to press the call button, cautiously opened Xu Xia’s room door, glanced inside to see Xu Xia was already asleep, and quietly walked into the bathroom to answer the call.

”Hello?”

”It’s me.”

”What’s going on?” Leng Zirui frowned slightly.

According to the previous plan, at this time, he should already have boarded the plane and left the island, right?!

Could it be that something unexpected has happened?

”Xiao Qian and Mo Mo have left safely. I’ve found Luo Ke’s documents, and they have been brought back to Beijing by Xiao Qian.”

”What about you?” Leng Zirui thought of a possibility, and his brows furrowed even tighter, ”Why didn’t you leave?”

”The ring in his hand, I want to take it back,” Leng Zimo said.

”Just for a ring, can’t I get it back for you?” Leng Zirui said in frustration, raising his voice.

”You know, it’s not just for a ring.” Leng Zimo’s tone was calm.

Leng Zirui bit his lip, feeling helpless too.

He had already thought of this possibility back then, and as expected, he stayed in the end.

Knowing that saying anything now was too late, Leng Zirui just let out a long sigh, ”If it weren’t because you’re my brother, I would have beaten you up when we meet!”

”Can you beat me?” Leng Zimo retorted.

”As if you had ever beaten me!” Leng Zirui laughed, then quickly became serious again, ”Alright, stay on the island for a day. After tomorrow’s matters are settled, I’ll send someone to bring you back.”

”Are you sure everything will go smoothly tomorrow?” Leng Zimo asked seriously.

”Not sure.” Leng Zirui answered earnestly.
