After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1999: Chapter 2003: Always Together with Mom and Dad

The little guy smiled innocently. Looking at his adorable face, Xu Xia felt a pang in her heart.

Leng Zimo, Luo Xiaoqian, please don’t let anything happen to you both. Such a cute child, he needs his mom and dad the most right now. If something happens to you, what’s Mo Mo supposed to do?!

Luo Jun wiped water off his face and noticed the glimmer of tears in Xu Xia’s eyes, but he only frowned slightly.

”Godmother, why are you crying?!”

”I’m not!” Xu Xia raised her arm to wipe her eyes, ”Some foam accidentally got in my eyes just now...”

The little guy believed her immediately and said, ”Then hurry to the faucet and rinse your eyes, godmother. Last time, Dad accidentally got foam in my eyes while bathing me, and Mom rinsed it with clear water for a long time, saying it must be rinsed clean, or the eyes would become inflamed.”

”It’s okay, godmother is fine.” Xu Xia carefully rinsed the foam from his head, ”Our Mo Mo is such a good child, how about... you live with godmother from now on?!”

”No way.” The little guy refused immediately.

”Why not? Don’t you like godmother?”

”No, it’s not that. Mom said Xiao Xiao and I are her and Dad’s dearest, and we’ll always be together.”

”Xiao Xiao... Who’s that?!”

”That’s the little baby in Mom’s belly. Xiao Xiao is her name, and Dad gave it to her. Mom said my name, Mo Mo, comes from Dad’s name, so for this little baby, Dad took a character from Mom’s name as a nickname for her.” Luo Jun said with a cute foam-covered face, ”In the future, once Xiao Xiao is born, our family will have a Big Mo Mo, a Xiao Mo Mo, a Qian, and a Xiao Xiao Qian, and the four of us will always be together.”

Xu Xia wiped her slightly teary eyes again, ”Yes, Mo Mo and Xiao Xiao will always be with Mom and Dad!”

After helping the little guy take a bath, she grabbed a big towel, carefully wrapped it around him, and carried him to the bathtub, cleaning off the water. She changed to a dry towel and used a hairdryer to dry his hair. Finally, she placed the wrapped-up little guy on the big bed outside of the suite.

Because the little guy boarded the flight temporarily, he didn’t have luggage, so Xu Xia took a fitted T-shirt of hers and put it on him as pajamas. After settling him down, she left the room and put his clothes in a bag, giving it to Lan Zi to take to the service desk for cleaning.

When handing the bag to Lan Zi, Xu Xia reminded her, ”Don’t let him know about the newspaper stuff.”

Lan Zi nodded and didn’t forget to comfort Xu Xia, ”This might just be the media making wild guesses. Those reporters always write nonsense to grab attention. You have work tomorrow morning, get some rest early.”

”Okay.”

After sending Lan Zi away and locking the door, Xu Xia returned to check on the already-sleeping little guy, adjusted the air conditioning temperature, and heard her phone vibrating. She hurriedly grabbed her bag and went into the bathroom to answer the call.

The call was from Leng Lin. Knowing her flight’s approximate arrival time, he probably calculated it right before calling.

”Xiao Jie and the others didn’t get direct flight tickets, so they’ll arrive in Milan around noon your time tomorrow. It won’t interfere with your work, will it?”

”It’s fine. I can have Lan Zi or Xiao Gao look after Mo Mo.” Xu Xia bit her lip, hesitating on how to bring up Leng Zimo’s situation.
