After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1970: Chapter 1974: Bullet Necklace

Xu Xia took the water and let him drink two sips, then carefully wiped his little mouth and hands clean before seriously holding his small shoulders and making eye contact with him.

”Mo Mo, about today’s incident, godmother knows you were worried about your mom. I’m not mad at you, but you have to promise me, godmother, that you won’t sneak away again, because it’s very dangerous. What if you encounter bad people, or if you get on the wrong plane or take the wrong path... in that case, godmother, your dad, mom, and grandpa wouldn’t be able to find you, and godmother would be heartbroken and wouldn’t be able to bear it. So, promise godmother you won’t do this again, okay?!”

”Can you take me with you to Rome to find my mom?” Luo Jun asked seriously.

Of course, he knew that what he did was wrong.

But thinking about his mom being in the hands of that bad guy Luo Ke made him worried.

Go to Rome to find mom?!

Xu Xia raised her eyebrows in confusion, ”Your mom is in Rome?”

”Yes!” The little guy nodded heavily, ”I heard Uncle Xiao Jie and them talking, saying dad is in Rome, and mom is in Rome too. That big bad guy Luo Ke will definitely bully mom. I want to help dad rescue mom.”

The little guy spoke somewhat incoherently, but Xu Xia quickly sorted out the situation.

Before, she thought the little guy boarded the plane wanting to go to the Trevi Fountain in Rome to make a wish. Now hearing him say this, she knew the truth.

”You didn’t hear it wrong?!”

”No, I heard it very clearly.”

Xu Xia certainly knew about Luo Ke. His company was originally in Italy, and Rome can be considered his base. Taking Luo Xiaoqian to Rome was very possible.

”Mo Mo, listen to what godmother has to say,” Xu Xia held the little guy’s shoulders and spoke again, ”I know you’re very worried about your mom, godmother understands your feelings, truly, because godmother is just as worried. But this time, godmother really can’t take you.”

”Why?” Luo Jun asked.

”Because it’s very dangerous. You also said Luo Ke is a big bad guy. If he knows you are in Rome, what might he do? He might capture you to threaten dad, or even use you to threaten mom...” Xu Xia said with a serious face, ”So, Mo Mo, I’m sorry, this time godmother absolutely can’t take you.”

This isn’t a joke. Although Xu Xia felt sorry for Luo Jun, she also knew this was not the time to act emotionally.

Seeing the little guy’s disappointed expression, she unbuckled his seatbelt and hugged him into her arms.

”Mo Mo, you’re an understanding young man, so this time, you must obediently listen.” Xu Xia gently held his little face, ”You need to know your dad is a very capable person. He will definitely rescue your mom, and what you need to do is go back to Beijing obediently and wait for them to return, okay?”

The little guy furrowed his little brows, looked at her, hesitated for a while, and finally nodded.

”Good child!” Xu Xia hugged him tightly, ”Do you know the necklace Uncle Zirui gave you, the bullet necklace, it has a transmitter inside. Dad can use it to track down mom no matter where that bad guy Luo Ke hides her. I guess... maybe when you get back to Beijing from Milan, your dad might already have brought mom home waiting for you!”

”Really?” Luo Jun had a face full of surprise.

This was the first time he had heard about this.
