After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1986: Chapter 1990: Taking a Couple’s Bath?

This bedroom is twice as large as the one she lived in before, more luxurious and more comfortable, and the terrace outside the window is connected to the terrace of the hall and Luo Ke’s terrace on the left side.

Because it is at a higher elevation, the view is more expansive, but Luo Xiaoqian doesn’t quite like it.

Although there is a hall between the two bedrooms, they can be connected by either the terrace or the hall, and she dislikes this kind of arrangement.

”Can’t I stay in the room between?!”

”This...” The Butler hesitated a little, ”You need to ask sir about this.”

Knowing he was unable to make decisions, Luo Xiaoqian didn’t ask any more questions.

The Butler led her to a door, lightly pushed it open, and behind it revealed a luxurious bathroom, almost half the size of the bedroom she had just occupied.

”This is your private bathroom. If you enjoy soaking in hot springs, please come here.” The Butler walked to the other side, opened two wooden doors, revealing an even larger bathroom outside, with a considerable natural hot spring in the middle, emitting a faint sulfur smell, ”This is directed from the island’s natural hot spring, and the door at the end leads directly to sir’s room.”

Does this mean the hot spring is for a couple’s bath?!

Luo Xiaoqian imagined herself bathing here with Luo Ke and just felt awkward.

”No, thank you. I’ll still use my own bathroom.”

”Alright.” The Butler closed the door tightly again, ”If you need anything, press the bronze button next to the bed anytime, the Maid will come upstairs when they hear the bell. Sir instructed us to protect you well, so two bodyguards will stay in the living room; I hope they won’t disturb your rest. Moreover, this bedroom has activated the security mode, the windows on the terrace have been automatically locked, but there is a ventilation system in the room, so you don’t have to worry about bad air.”

Luo Xiaoqian shrugged her shoulders, knowing they wouldn’t listen to her anyway, she could only accept it since she couldn’t change it.

Noticing her mood wasn’t great, the Butler didn’t say much and immediately took his leave.

Watching the Butler close the door, Luo Xiaoqian stepped onto the terrace, attempting to open the windows, and as expected, they were tightly locked, with no way to open them.

A shadow flashed by a corner of the glass.

Luo Xiaoqian turned her head, only to see a tall figure waving at her outside a corner of the terrace glass.

Dressed in black, it was none other than Leng Zimo, who had just escaped from the second floor.

Luo Xiaoqian felt a surge of joy, immediately striding towards him, looking at him through the window.

”Xiao Qian, help me open the window.” Leng Zimo gestured as he spoke.

The window was soundproof, she couldn’t hear what he was saying, but she saw his motions and shook her head hurriedly, ”I can’t open it, it’s locked!”

”Xiao Qian, trust me, open the window!” Leng Zimo couldn’t hear her voice, he just waved his hands anxiously.

Seeing his anxious expression, Luo Xiaoqian felt helpless too. Thinking quickly, she moistened her finger with saliva and wrote on the glass.

”Locked, can’t open.”

Leng Zimo looked at the words she wrote, pointed at the window.

Luo Xiaoqian nodded, shrugged, indicating she was powerless.

Clenching his teeth, he signaled her to step back; Leng Zimo pulled out a gun and struck the glass forcefully.

”No!”

Luo Xiaoqian shouted, trying to stop him, but it was too late. The butt of his gun had already crashed heavily onto the glass.

Buzz!

The unique security system in the bedroom activated immediately, with red lights flashing suddenly and the alarm siren blaring.
