After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 149: Chapter 149 Who Let You In 3

”Go wash up and come down to the kitchen within fifteen minutes!”

After giving the order, Leng Zimo turned and walked toward the porch.

The kitchen?!

Her hands were injured, and he still wanted her to make him breakfast?!

”I...”

Luo Xiaoqian instinctively wanted to retort, but after uttering just one word, she closed her mouth.

Did she still expect his pity?!

Without another word, she turned and went upstairs.

Leng Zimo walked to the porch, took the paper bag to a small table outside the kitchen, then suddenly remembered something, turned around, rushed into the kitchen, and found a roll of cling film. He hurried up the stairs with large strides.

In the bathroom.

Luo Xiaoqian had already taken off her bathrobe; she stretched out her uninjured hand to test the water temperature and then reached behind her back to unhook her bra.

Usually, she did this with both hands, but today she only had her left hand free. After several attempts, she finally managed to unhook the top four fasteners, but the last one seemed to resist her as if it were stubbornly locked in place.

Helplessly, she had to lift her injured hand and carefully help out.

Finally, it came undone!

Before she could catch her breath, the bathroom door suddenly burst open.

In a panic, she turned her face and then raised both hands to hold her slipping bra in place.

”Who let you in!”

Despite having been so intimate with him so many times, she was still not accustomed to exposing herself in front of him; last night’s act was only due to a momentary impulse.

”Idiot!”

Seeing her injured hand together with her damp left hand, Leng Zimo strode into the bathroom, seized her right wrist, and moved her injured hand away.

As he moved her hand away, half of her chest was suddenly fully exposed; she hurriedly used her other hand to cover up.

Leng Zimo held onto her wrist with one hand, while the other hand was already wrapping cling film around her hand.

Luo Xiaoqian made sure she was covering the important parts, lifted her face, and saw him carefully wrapping her palm. His expression was intensely focused, he wasn’t even looking at her body, and his movements were very cautious, as if he was afraid of hurting her.

Watching his focused actions, she was momentarily lost for words.

Layer after layer, he almost used the whole roll of cling film on her hand, wrapping her wrist so that not a single part was exposed. Leng Zimo then breathed a sigh of relief and spoke softly, ”Remember to keep this hand raised!”

”Huh?”

Luo Xiaoqian was still immersed in his sudden gentleness and didn’t hear what he said.

Leng Zimo lifted her injured hand high, ”If you dare let your bandage touch even a drop of water, you’re dead!”

Turning around, he slammed the door shut behind him.

Stubborn girl, she never made it easy for him!

Luo Xiaoqian stood in the bathroom, looked up at her injured hand, now raised high and wrapped nearly in a whole box of cling film, looking like a giant crystal rice dumpling. Listening to his footsteps fading away, she slowly lowered her hand, looked at the knot he had carefully tied, and fell silent.

One moment tender, the next a beast.

This man, she felt she was understanding him less and less!

Sighing, she turned and stepped under the shower. The water hit the cling film, making a pitter-patter sound, and she hurriedly raised her arm, holding the injured hand high.

Although Luo Xiaoqian hurried as much as she could, having only one hand was indeed not as convenient as two. By the time she finally finished her shower, put on her bathrobe, and started combing her hair, Leng Zimo had once again entered the bathroom.

”I’ll be done in a moment!”

Thinking she had exceeded the time he had set, Luo Xiaoqian quickly put down her comb and grabbed the hairdryer.
