After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 103: Chapter 103 You Dare Hit Me

The beer can exploded, spraying her with frothy beer.

Watching Lu Hao as he stormed in, Luo Xiaoqian’s heart instinctively tensed up, filled with both rage and pain.

Hadn’t he already found someone new? Why did he keep coming after her? By the looks of it, he must have been dealt some blow, but what did that matter to her? Was she his punching bag?

”Get out of here now, or I’m calling the police!”

”Call the police?” Lu Hao staggered over to her, a sneer in his voice, ”What are you going to report me for, murder, robbery, or rape?”

The smell of alcohol hit her as he approached, prompting Luo Xiaoqian to frown and step back, bumping into a table and eliciting a sharp screech from its legs as they scraped across the floor.

”Lu Hao, don’t think I’m the same Luo Xiaoqian as before. I’m telling you, I was blind before, but now, disappear from my sight, I never want to see you again!”

”Of course, you’re not the same Luo Xiaoqian as before!” Lu Hao squinted at her through drunk eyes, ”Now you’re just a fucking whore, a bitch. You call me cheap, so tell me, how much did you sell yourself for... huh...”

His gaze landed on her delicate face, and he unconsciously swallowed, his hand reaching towards her face, ”I thought you were some sort of chaste heroine. Had I known it was like this, I should’ve slept with you long ago!”

Slap!

Luo Xiaoqian raised her hand and delivered a heavy slap to his face, one that shook her own hand with pain.

”Get out now, get out!”

”You dare hit me!” Lu Hao grabbed her arm, his mouth heavy with the stench of alcohol as he moved his face close to hers, ”Let me tell you, Luo Xiaoqian, if you don’t let me have peace, I won’t let you have peace either. If he dares... to blacklist me, today, I’ll put a green hat on him...”

The alcohol fumes assaulted her and, seeing his ferocious face, Luo Xiaoqian panicked, pushed him away, and turned to run.

Lu Hao reached out and grabbed her sleeve; with a ripping sound, her clothes tore open a palm-sized slit, instantly exposing one of her shoulders.

Not caring about anything else, Luo Xiaoqian just ran for her life out the door and down the stairs, hearing Lu Hao’s footsteps chasing after her, her heart in turmoil. She slipped, tumbling down the staircase.

Her body ached all over, and before she could get up, Lu Hao was already stumbling towards her.

”You little... slut, see where you can run to...”

”Somebody, help...”

Enduring the pain, Luo Xiaoqian stood up from the ground, not bothering to check if she was hurt, and screamed her way towards the building’s entrance.

Lu Hao grabbed her long hair and, with a violent jerk, threw her into the corner of the stairs where her head hit the wall, and everything went black as she passed out.

...

...

In the sunlight, Lu Hao sat in the playground, holding a guitar, gazing brightly at her.

”Xiao Qian, when I make money, I’ll buy you a house with a balcony, and I’ll write a thousand love songs for you. When I hold a concert, I’ll stand on stage and tell everyone that all these songs are for a girl named Luo Xiaoqian...”

Suddenly, his expression changed; he grabbed the guitar vehemently and smashed it over her head.

She raised her hand to feel blood all over it.

”Lu Hao, why, why...”

”Because you’re poor, because you don’t have money. I want to shoot a music video, I want to hold a concert... do you have the money?”

He walked towards her with a grim smile and swung the blood-stained guitar at her again.
