After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 117: Chapter 117: I Want to Give You a Like

Because the adjustment involved only Luo Xiaoqian, the overall sequence didn’t undergo significant changes, and the runway walk was completed smoothly before the dress rehearsal began.

After a group of traditional Chinese musicians performed, Luo Xiaoqian and Shen Xinyi, along with three others, walked onto the stage together.

”Come on, you can do it!”

Standing at her position next to Shen Xinyi, Luo Xiaoqian took a deep breath and psyched herself up in her mind.

As the music started, she gracefully lifted her arms, raised her legs, and then began to dance.

Forward, back, dodge, jump...

She tried her best to perfect every move.

Just as Leng Zimo had said, she imagined herself as a pop diva, picturing countless people applauding and cheering for her. Even though there was nobody in the audience, she treated it like a real performance.

In the end, with a beautiful spin, she made a neat appearance. Throughout the dance, she didn’t miss a single beat, and her movements were fluid and strong; she danced impressively.

”Very good!”

Below the stage, Tong Ya smiled and clapped.

She had just taken an assistant to prepare the costumes needed for the show and wasn’t here for the entirety, but she watched the dance from start to finish, and even with her discerning eye, she would give Luo Xiaoqian’s performance a 90 out of 100.

”Luo Xiaoqian, I support you!”

Xu Xia followed with a whistle, and many students clapped for them.

Shen Xinyi looked on from the side as Luo Xiaoqian stood up straight and bowed to the stage, her eyes revealing a disgruntled expression.

Five people performed the dance, three men and two women.

She and Luo Xiaoqian were standing together. During the dance, she could clearly see Luo Xiaoqian’s moves. Even though Shen Xinyi was reluctant to admit it, she had to acknowledge that, this time, Luo Xiaoqian really did well.

As they walked off the stage and the rehearsal continued, Seo Ya strode over and headed straight for Luo Xiaoqian, giving her a thumbs-up.

”Luo Xiaoqian, today, I want to give you a like!”

From the first day of school, Luo Xiaoqian had shown how poor her dance foundation was.

One could get plastic surgery for an ugly appearance, and post-production to improve bad singing... But there were no shortcuts in dancing.

For Luo Xiaoqian to achieve this today, she must have put in a great deal of effort and sweat. Although many media criticized her as a spendthrift heiress, Tong Ya, through her interactions over the past few days, had already sensed the tenacity in this girl.

She admired that!

”Thank you, Teacher!”

Luo Xiaoqian raised her hand to wipe the sweat from her forehead; the sweat stung her wounds with a pricking pain.

For her, receiving Tong Ya’s approval already felt like half a victory.

Tong Ya looked at the bandage on her forehead, her eyes showing concern, ”What happened to your forehead?”

”It’s nothing, I just took a little fall!” Luo Xiaoqian said with a smile.

”Tomorrow night is the official competition. Don’t practice too hard these next two days. Balance work and rest. If you expend too much energy, you won’t have any left when it’s time to perform on stage!” Tong Ya advised her before turning to leave and attend to her own matters.

From the side, Shen Xinyi, who was sitting and resting on a chair, wiped the sweat from her forehead with a towel, and her anxiety grew.

She had always been very confident in her dancing. In her view, she was sure to outperform Luo Xiaoqian and earn more points in the dance competition. However, both Luo Xiaoqian’s recent performance and Tong Ya’s encouragement made her feel an unprecedented sense of crisis.
