After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 139: Chapter 139: Spare No Expense to Find Her

”I can’t be bothered with you!” Tong Ya strode to the door, slammed it shut, and headed for the elevator.

”Suit yourself!” Shen Yizhou simply sat back down in his chair, took out his phone, and continued to watch the live broadcast.

...

...

”The semi-finals have come to an end, please be sure to watch the finals of the ’Huaxia Idol’ Beijing Competition Area on time! See you at the finals, everyone!”

As Han Jun and Ouyang Qing’s voices announced, the live broadcast of the ’Huaxia Idol’ Beijing Competition Area semi-finals also concluded.

The contestants congratulated each other, the audience gradually left the venue, and reporters swarmed towards the mentor Leng Zimo.

”Mr. Leng, are you really certain that was a sorrowful performance by Luo Xiaoqian?”

”Yes, Mr. Leng, what do you think of her behavior?”

...

The staff quickly rushed up to hold back the reporters, but Leng Zimo, faced with such a scene, did not show a hint of panic. He merely stood up calmly from his chair and said, ”Tomorrow at ten o’clock, at the EM ’Huaxia Idol’ press conference, I will give everyone an explanation. For now, no comment!”

He waved his hand lightly, and the staff immediately held the reporters back as he strode toward the backstage.

As he was just walking backstage, Xu Xia was already rushing up to him, ”Leng Zimo, on what grounds do you accuse Luo Xiaoqian...”

Lifting his hand, he grabbed her arm firmly, ”Where is she?”

”Let go of me!” Xu Xia struggled forcefully.

”I’m asking you, where is she!” Leng Zimo turned his head, gripping her arm even tighter like a vise as he stared at Xu Xia’s face and demanded sternly, ”Where is Luo Xiaoqian?”

Confronting his imperious and icy demeanor, Xu Xia instinctively felt intimidated, ”Teacher Tong Ya took her to the hospital. I just called; she didn’t have her phone with her...”

Releasing her, Leng Zimo immediately took out his phone and dialed Tong Ya’s number as he moved toward the main control room.

”Wait a minute!”

Xu Xia tried to approach him again, but the bodyguards and staff walking with him had already separated everyone else.

”Where is Luo Xiaoqian, let her take the call!” Entering the control room, Leng Zimo bellowed directly into the phone.

”I took her to the hospital earlier, and Yizhou has already treated her wound. Now, I don’t know where she is; I’m searching around the hospital!” Tong Ya’s voice came through from the phone.

”I’m sending someone to help you right away!” said Leng Zimo with a cold expression as he hung up the phone, ”Spare no expense to find her!”

”Yes!” Ailin, who had come in with him, responded promptly, turned to an assistant, and gestured, ”To Kong Jun General Hospital, to look for Luo Xiaoqian!”

”President Leng!” The staff members of the control room on seeing his icy face, stood up tremblingly.

Leng Zimo ignored them and just fixed his gaze on the wall’s screens, giving a command in a deep voice, ”Bring up the video footage of Luo Xiaoqian’s performance, all angles required!”

”Yes!” The employees scrambled back into their seats, tapping away at their keyboards.

Suddenly, images from various camera angles filled the screens.

Leng Zimo crossed his arms and swept his eyes across the screens on the wall; his gaze quickly stopped on one of them.

”Camera position A35, replay it again, the SOLO part!”

The staff acted swiftly, and all the screens switched to this camera position. Camera A35 was positioned at the top of the studio, capturing Luo Xiaoqian’s entire performance from a slanted overhead angle.

On the screen was video footage of Luo Xiaoqian’s performance.
