After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 49: Chapter 49 Seeing Lu Hao Again

Daigao Company, that was a renowned major movie company in Hollywood, producing several blockbuster films every year. The fact that Luo Zimo actually planned to collaborate with them indicated an impressive move.

She shifted her body slightly and extended her right hand to the other party, saying in English, ”Hello, I really enjoy your fantasy movies. Welcome to Beijing!”

Her father had trained abroad and spoke fluent English, and her own English was also learned from her father, very authentic.

Anderson smiled as he shook hands with her, ”Your eyes are very beautiful, I like your eyes, and if I get the chance, I hope we could work together!”

A translator immediately translated his words.

”Thank you for your appreciation, but I can’t act!” Luo Xiaoqian honestly replied.

After hearing her words, Anderson looked into Luo Xiaoqian’s eyes with even more admiration.

He was well aware of his own status. Those pretty girls who had the opportunity to meet him, which one of them didn’t wish to act in his movies, even going so far as to flatter him endlessly to get a role. Her reaction was definitely rare.

Letting go of Luo Xiaoqian, Anderson turned to look at Leng Zimo, ”This lady is very beautiful, is she your girlfriend?”

Leng Zimo glanced at Luo Xiaoqian beside him and replied in French, ”Just a female friend!”

Anderson smiled, ”Then may I pursue her?”

Leng Zimo reached out to hook the waist of Luo Xiaoqian, who was still looking somewhat puzzled at him, ”No!”

”I knew you would say that!” Anderson laughed out loud, ”You’re very lucky!”

Leng Zimo shrugged his shoulders, ”Sit down!”

He and Anderson had collaborated in the past and could be considered close friends despite the age difference, so there was not much formality between them.

The meal was served, and the two conversed in French about the new movie collaboration, chatting amiably.

Meanwhile, an assistant opened a laptop and began typing away briskly.

Luo Xiaoqian, not understanding anyway, decided to enjoy the meal to her heart’s content.

There was no reason to pass up free delicious food!

After their stomachs were full and the two men seemed still far from done talking, Luo Xiaoqian changed positions several times in her chair until she could no longer endure it. She smiled apologetically at the others and got up to leave the private room.

Although there was a restroom in the private room, she thought it would be somewhat impolite to use it in front of everyone, and she wanted to get some fresh air as well.

After asking a waiter, she easily located the restroom on the floor, took care of her needs, and came out to wash up, feeling quite relaxed.

Footsteps echoed softly, and a girl dressed in a light yellow dress walked in slowly, followed by a tall figure that rushed in urgently behind her.

Watching the reflection in the mirror, Luo Xiaoqian didn’t see the other person’s face clearly but saw him grab the girl, press her against the wall, and impolitely kiss her.

The girl resisted at first but soon began to respond willingly.

The girl was young and beautiful, dressed elegantly and properly, and the man was tall and large. The pair was quite pleasing to the eye.

Watching their entwined shadows, a tinge of melancholy surged in Luo Xiaoqian’s heart.

Before, when she was unaware of Lu Hao’s true colors, seeing loving couples would always bring a knowing smile to her face, and she would silently wish them a lasting relationship like hers and Lu Hao’s used to be.

Now, witnessing such scenes only felt ironic to her.

Not wanting to disturb them, she quickly pulled out a piece of tissue to wipe the water from her hands and tried to sneak out of the restroom as quietly as possible.
