After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 34: Chapter 34 I Have a Name

Feeling his fingers brush unintentionally against her skin, Luo Xiaoqian’s body hair stood on end.

This guy, could he be thinking of...?!

”That... I really don’t feel well right now...” she raised her hand to grab his palm, ”Could we, Tomorrow?”

”Of course!” Leng Zimo glanced at her flushed cheek, and with a hook of his right hand, her shirt slid off her shoulders.

They had agreed on Tomorrow, so why was he still undressing her?

”You...”

Just as Luo Xiaoqian was about to erupt, his fingers had already touched her shoulder, cool against the skin with a hint of mint reaching her nose.

She turned her head in confusion, only to see him applying ointment to the spot on her shoulder where he had bitten her.

By the time Luo Xiaoqian came to her senses and wanted to apply it herself, Leng Zimo had already withdrawn his fingers, straightened her shirt, sat down in the chair beside her, wiped his fingers clean with a tissue, and started eating.

After barely managing half a bowl of porridge, Luo Xiaoqian put down her spoon.

”That...” she glanced at Leng Zimo beside her, truly at a loss for how to address him, ”I have something, I’d like to discuss with you...”

Mr. Leng, President Leng, seemed too formal, and calling him by his name, they didn’t seem close enough for that.

”I have a name!” Leng Zimo put down his chopsticks.

”Leng Zi...”

”Drop the surname!”

”Zimo!” she ventured tentatively.

Leng Zimo stood up and sat down on the sofa, ”Come here and talk!”

She walked over, stopping a substantial distance from him, but seeing his slightly raised eyebrow, she steeled herself to move a few steps forward and sat about twenty centimeters beside him.

”Our matter, I mean, the relationship between us two, could we possibly keep it secret for now?”

”I can’t hear you!”

He can’t hear her, is he deaf?!

Luo Xiaoqian silently gritted her teeth, but in the end, she moved a bit closer to him.

His hand naturally wrapped around her waist, lifting it to touch her forehead.

There was a mild sweat on her forehead, the fever-reducing medication was working, and her body temperature had clearly dropped significantly.

Leng Zimo drew back his hand, ”Let’s go!”

As she followed him out of the room and into the elevator, Luo Xiaoqian was still worried about running into someone.

Later, she realized her worries were unnecessary; he had taken her to the VIP elevator for senior-level use, which required a card to operate and went directly to the underground parking lot. The average EM Company employee had no access to it, so she didn’t need to worry about encountering someone she’d rather not see.

In the parking lot.

His black sports car, like a profound beast, sharp and defined, exerted a strong, domineering presence, just like him.

Luo Xiaoqian cautiously took the passenger seat. Just as she sat down, his arm reached out once more towards her chest.

Her heart tightened.

But instead of what she expected, he simply reached over, pulled the seat belt, and fastened it for her before the car smoothly glided onto the road.

She didn’t ask where they were going; he was paying, he was the patron, it was naturally his decision to make.

The car made its way through the fifth ring road and soon entered a street she was familiar with, finally stopping outside her residential complex.

The car door opened automatically.

Yet, Luo Xiaoqian remained seated without moving, ”You haven’t answered my question yet?”

Leng Zimo turned his head, the light reflecting in her eyes making them shine like night stars, her lips—kissed by him repeatedly before—still engorged and slightly swollen.

He reached out, undoing her seatbelt for her.

”Kiss me!”
