After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 23: Chapter 23: Captured

Lin Shaocong raised an eyebrow, ”Why should you drink for her? If you’re going to drink, drink this!”

He gestured, tossing the whole bottle of Chivas he was holding into Xu Xia’s hands.

”No need for her to drink for me, I’ll drink!” Luo Xiaoqian quickly stepped forward, snatched the glass from Lin Shaocong’s hand, and poured it into her mouth in large gulps.

The alcohol was spicy, hitting straight to her chest and stomach, and the pain that was already there intensified in an instant.

Wiping off the liquor stains from the corner of her mouth, she bore the pain and showed them the empty glass, ”I drank it!”

”Impressive!” Lin Shaocong eyed her lips glowing with brightness and suddenly stepped forward, grabbing her arm. At the same time, several of his companions rushed forward, separating her from Xu Xia and Manager Lin.

On this side, Lin Shaocong and another companion dragged Luo Xiaoqian towards the elevator, gripping her arms.

”Let me go!” Luo Xiaoqian struggled fiercely, but how could she fight against two grown men?

”Don’t be afraid, I just want you to accompany us in singing a few songs upstairs in the KTV; trust me, Young Master Lin will not treat you unfairly!”

”Exactly, Young Master Lin has always been gentle and cherishing towards beauties!”

...

The men chuckled and dragged her into the elevator.

”Xiao Qian!” Xu Xia hurriedly followed, but was directly pushed away and fell to the ground by Lin Shaocong’s men.

She got up and wanted to chase again, but Liu Feifei had already come forward, grabbing her arm, ”It’s okay, it’s just singing a few songs!”

Xu Xia turned to look at Liu Feifei, ”Liu Feifei, you did this on purpose, didn’t you? You sold Xiao Qian out, didn’t you?”

”That’s right, it was me. It’s just accompanying them in a few songs, not selling herself!” Liu Feifei said discontentedly, shrugging off her arm, ”Do you think it’s easy for me to support you guys? Everyone wants to be a star, do you think being a star is that easy?”

”If a single hair on Qian is harmed, I will fight you to the death!” Pointing at her nose, Xu Xia cursed angrily and dashed towards the stairs.

Liu Feifei watched her retreating figure, sneering dismissively through her nose.

Did she think being a manager was easy? Who did Lin Shaocong think he was, and how could she afford to provoke him?

......

......

Sixth floor.

”Let me go!” As soon as the elevator doors opened, Luo Xiaoqian violently shook off the two men holding her and dashed out of the elevator.

Still wearing her high heels, she stumbled after just a couple of steps and fell to the ground.

The men immediately pounced on her like beasts, grabbing her arms and dragging her toward the private room.

”Help!”

Luo Xiaoqian clearly understood their intention was not as simple as singing; she struggled with all her might while calling out loudly.

Lin Shaocong walked over quickly, covering her mouth, ”Want to scream, huh? You’ll have plenty of time to scream later. I’ll tell you, Luo Xiaoqian, from the first day you got here, I’ve had my eye on you. You’re the first to make me fall in love at first sight. Just be obedient, and I assure you, whatever you want, Young Master Lin will give it to you!”

Luo Xiaoqian, looking at the lewd smile on his lips, fiercely clenched her teeth and bit down on the web of his hand.

”You whore, how dare you bite me!”

Lin Shaocong screamed shrilly, his smile turning sinister as he abruptly raised his hand to slap her face.

Luo Xiaoqian instinctively turned her face and closed her eyes.

The expected slap, however, never landed.

By her ear, she clearly caught two crisp sounds, followed by Lin Shaocong’s pig-like screeching.

The next second, she was pulled into someone’s embrace, her face colliding with the person’s chest.
