After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Consequences of Disobedience

”I agree to your terms!” Unable to struggle free, Luo Xiaoqian shouted in desperation, ”One month, two million, let me go, and I’ll agree!”

Leng Zimo lifted his face, slightly squinting his eyes as he appraised her.

”Anyway... it’s not the first time, I... I really need the money right now, otherwise, I wouldn’t have done what I did last night!” She tried to put on a sincere face, ”Besides, I can’t beat you!”

Leng Zimo brought his face closer and commanded, ”Kiss me!”

He clearly didn’t believe her.

This bastard, so full of suspicion!

Treating it as if she were bitten by a dog, Luo Xiaoqian consoled herself inwardly and lifted her head to quickly peck his face.

”Your lips!”

Considering it just another dog bite, what’s the worst, she’d just brush her teeth a few extra times when she got back!

She consoled herself once more and brought her lips close, barely touching his.

”Now, can I...”

Before she could finish speaking, darkness swamped her vision as his lips forcefully claimed hers.

The back of her head pressed against the desk, hurting.

His hand still didn’t release her, Luo Xiaoqian knew she didn’t have many chances, so she didn’t resist and let him kiss her.

All she could think was, treating it as another dog bite, she must brush her teeth when she got back, three times, no, five times!

As he took her breath away, Luo Xiaoqian felt a bit dizzy, her heartbeat seeming to quicken.

Feeling his grip loosen slightly, she snapped back to reality.

Bending her knee, she raised her leg and forcefully pressed it between his legs.

Years of instinct made Leng Zimo take a step back unconsciously.

Luo Xiaoqian missed.

Not daring to kick a second time, she frantically escaped from the desk, grasped the photo from the floor, shoved him away with all her might, and rushed out of the study, out of the guest room, and into the safety stairwell.

The bodyguard passing by hurried into the study, looked at the boss straightening up with a frown, and cautiously asked, ”Should I call security, have them chase her down?”

”No need!” Leng Zimo straightened his shirt, ”Call Ailin to see me!”

Dare to kick him?!

It seemed he had to teach her the consequences of disobedience.

...

...

On the stairs.

Luo Xiaoqian felt a chill all over her body and sneezed deeply.

Turning around, she listened carefully, not hearing anyone chasing after her, she finally stopped, leaned against the stairwell door, and took a gentle breath.

There was a strange feeling on her.

Realizing her clothes were in disarray, Luo Xiaoqian immediately felt her face flush with embarrassment.

That bastard, truly befitting of a pianist, with such quick finger movements.

Standing up, she reached behind to fasten her buttons, fumbling, growing more anxious, and inadvertently breaking into a cold sweat as she struggled.

”Need help?”

Behind her, a pleasing male voice lazily rang out.

Startled, Luo Xiaoqian exclaimed and frantically pulled down her flipped-up T-shirt, turning to look behind her.

She saw, the stairwell door ajar, behind the crack, a tall man wearing large dark sunglasses smilingly watching her.
