After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 38: Chapter 38 Lingering Between A and C

Xu Xia immediately took up the cue, ”Let me tell you Xiao Qian, even if they offered money for that surgery, we wouldn’t do it. What if one day you take a tumble and fall out of whack? Wouldn’t you just hover between A and C again, turning into a ’heroic pencil’? How regrettable that’d be!”

When it comes to a sharp tongue, Xu Xia is indeed much fiercer than Luo Xiaoqian.

Between A and C, ’heroic pencil’, that’s clearly 2B

To the side, quite a few girls immediately burst into laughter.

Shen Xinyi’s face darkened once again, ”You two, you’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?!”

”Miss Shen!” Luo Xiaoqian also suppressed her laughter, ”The one looking for trouble is you, isn’t it?”

Shen Xinyi’s two lackeys immediately crowded around, and Xu Xia stood by Luo Xiaoqian’s side, unyielding, ”What, are you scared? Let me tell you, I’ve never lost a fight!”

The door was pushed open, and the dance teacher Tong Ya stood with her arms crossed, eyeing the few girls bristling with animosity, ”Ten seconds left!”

All the girls stuck out their tongues and hurried out the door, with Luo Xiaoqian pulling Xu Xia out of the changing room as well.

Everyone lined up properly, and Tong Ya then walked to the front of the line.

”No matter what you’re doing, the foundation is the most important, and dance is no exception. The most basic thing in hiphop is the UP DOWN. Everyone, watch my moves!” With her legs slightly parted, she naturally swayed her body back and forth to the rhythm of the music, ”Notice my movement, control of the knee joints is very important, and so are the chest and head... Alright, now, you can try to follow me...”

Everybody started dancing along with her moves.

Tong Ya then paused her movements and turned to watch the students, offering immediate pointers.

”Very good, keep your chest up, yes...” Noticing Luo Xiaoqian’s stiff movements, she frowned, walked over, and placed her hand on her waist, ”When you go UP, chest out but you have to tuck in your belly... continue...”

Just as she finished speaking, a mobile ringtone from a backpack placed by the wall began to sound.

Though not loud, the noise felt particularly grating in the silent practice room.

Tong Ya frowned, ”Whose phone is that?”

Everyone looked around at each other, all shaking their heads.

Luo Xiaoqian turned her head toward the direction of the ringing, her gaze fixated on her backpack, ”Teacher, it’s mine!”

She spun around and hurried to her backpack, rummaging to find her phone.

The screen displayed an unknown number, and just as she was about to press the answer button, Tong Ya had already briskly walked up to her.

”You’re Luo Xiaoqian, right?”

”Yes!” Luo Xiaoqian lifted her face and gave her a rueful smile, ”I’m sorry, teacher, I’ll take it outside!”

”If you step out now, you’ll never need to come back!” Tong Ya said coldly.

She had been notified in advance. During class, mobile phones should either be turned off or set to silent.

Did she think she had all the time in the world? Did she know that her time was measured in minutes? Her precious time was not to be wasted dealing with these matters!

”Ah!” Luo Xiaoqian was taken aback.

Standing not far away, Shen Xinyi let out a cold laugh, while Xu Xia made faces and gestured at her, signaling her not to resist.

Yesterday, everyone had been informed that during class, phones must be silenced or turned off. Luo Xiaoqian, who had been absent, did not know she had already broken the rule.

”Either turn off your phone and stand facing the wall for an hour,” Tong Ya said, pointing to the door, ”or leave my classroom!”
