I Am Your Natural Enemy

”This isn’t anything new.”

Wen Yan listened to the words of the Old Celestial Master and felt significantly reassured.

Fortunately, having a long history has its benefits, to put it crudely, you’ve stepped in all sorts of nonsense and seen all kinds of strange things.

As soon as he mentioned it, the Old Celestial Master was able to follow along and pinpoint the most likely purpose of the other party.

Once the other party’s purpose is known, then the subsequent steps wouldn’t involve blindly floundering around like a headless fly.

”Elder, is there a success case?”

”Indeed there is, a case of ascension, but he couldn’t shake the rules of the Celestial Court.”

”Can I ask who it is?”

”A fierce and vicious figure, have you heard this term before?”

”I’ve heard of it.”

”It’s one of those fierce figures, I won’t mention his name, go back and read the books carefully, you will know.”

”...” Wen Yan was speechless. The conversation was going well, then suddenly, he’s being told he doesn’t read books? He’s not truly illiterate. He only started halfway, it’s normal not to understand a lot.

The General Director laughed from the side, reached out and patted Wen Yan’s shoulder, then pointed upwards.

”Some things, knowing them is one thing, but it’s best not to casually mention them, there’s no need. It’s like teaching hand prints online, never teaching the most complete version, because you never know if someone has exceptional talent and just haphazardly practices, accidentally causing trouble.”

”I understand, using the health bar as the mana bar, right...”

”Yeah, that’s the point.”

Wen Yan reported everything and felt much more at ease.

The Old Celestial Master glanced at the General Director.

”Give him that booklet to look over, let him offer some suggestions.”

The General Director looked somewhat unexpectedly at the Old Celestial Master, but said nothing. He took a small booklet from the nearby bookshelf and handed it to Wen Yan.

On it was written: Introduction to Martial Arts.

Wen Yan opened it and took a look, the content was extremely simple, yet very detailed, detailed enough that every action and how to do it could be depicted on a page.

Moreover, the content was not biased towards anything, there were no harmful training methods, it purely served as a foundation.

”General Director, is this what will be promoted? When it comes to laying a foundation, generally, after reaching adulthood, the effects decline significantly, don’t they?”

”Yes, so the current plan is to start the promotion from the third grade of elementary school.”

”Third grade of elementary school, they’re probably not going to understand, nor know how doing it right is defined, will they?

This certainly needs to be taught hands-on; relying on kids to self-study, it’s impossible for them to get it completely right.

If they get it wrong initially, it’ll be really hard to correct later, won’t it?

When I went to Fuyu Mountain, I saw a senior teaching new disciples.

I feel, even teaching hands-on might not work, it’s extraordinarily troublesome.

Besides, just calling it ’Introduction to Martial Arts’ seems a bit inconsistent with the usual naming habits, doesn’t it?”

The General Director and the Old Celestial Master looked at Wen Yan saying it’s too difficult here and there, hands-on teaching wouldn’t work, and couldn’t help but laugh.

What Wen Yan said indeed felt a little out of place.

But the General Director felt that Wen Yan wasn’t wrong, it’s already as simplified as possible, yet still somewhat complex.

After all, this booklet is a product of several years ago, the latest one is still under revision.

”What do you think the name should be?”

”How about... calling it the Fourteenth Set of Primary and Secondary School Radio Gymnastics?”

”Hahaha...” The Old Celestial Master laughed loudly and patted Wen Yan’s shoulder: ”Alright, alright.”

The General Director was a bit speechless, Wen Yan’s naming style somehow exceeded the official standard.

Prior to this, they were indeed intending to use the name ’Introduction to Martial Arts,’ because they didn’t want to perform it anymore, conveying some information to the public through this name.

”Alright, we’ll consider your suggestion later.”

Wen Yan saw that the conversation was almost over, so he left first, letting the General Director and the Old Celestial Master continue their chat; it seemed they hadn’t finished yet.

After Wen Yan left, the General Director glanced at the Old Celestial Master.

”Old Celestial Master, I know Wen Yan’s martial arts talent is exceptional, but focusing too much on his suggestions might not be appropriate as this is something that needs to be settled.”

”You’re wrong. It’s precisely because he’s only practiced martial arts for a short time and achieved such accomplishments that his suggestions are more suitable for absolute beginners. I believe the difficulty has been reduced as much as possible; it can’t be lowered further.

Because in the Celestial Master Mansion, even the dullest disciple who can be brought before me can easily understand these instructions and perfectly execute the actions without guidance, grasping the essentials of force.

But, even though they haven’t said it, I also know that any disciple brought before me must have exceptional talent and comprehension among thousands.

What’s to be promoted must consider universality.

I think Wen Yan’s suggestion is quite good, based on the concept of radio gymnastics, even though the practice might be lacking, it won’t cause any problems; even if not done perfectly, it at least gets the body moving.

Starting with teaching elementary school students breathing techniques right away is really asking too much.”

The General Director pondered over these words and began to understand better.

”Old Celestial Master, are you saying Wen Yan’s martial arts have already surpassed Qin Kun’s?”

”It’s not the same concept; I still need to learn from him, things that are extremely important and can influence my path of cultivation.”

The General Director was taken aback; it’s already reached this extent?

Wen Yan, from the start of practicing martial arts until now, it has only been a few months!

This terrifying talent simply can’t be explained by the Scorching Sun God Power and the Scorching Sun Fist at Fuyu Mountain.

The Old Celestial Master smiled without explaining, it’s something that can’t be discussed until Wen Yan succeeds in walking his path.

As an elder, when Wen Yan gives his greetings, he must return the courtesy.

Because he learned extremely important things from Wen Yan, this time especially allowed him to witness the concretization of life’s blossoming, he already understands the path he should take next, which is a direction completely different from Wen Yan’s but most suitable for him.

When he met Wen Yan this time, he roughly understood why Wen Yan was stuck and hadn’t reached the head yet; presumably, this step is the hardest, most challenging to pioneer, and hardest to tackle.

Coincidentally, this part is the easiest for the Old Celestial Master to approach.

After receiving guidance, he could provide some advice to Wen Yan back in turn later.
