Given how far things had gone, the Old Man with Brown Spots, Xue Hongxin, and Junn Yuanyi were naturally left speechless. They had no choice but to swallow their bitter resentment!

After all, Chen Fei’s overwhelming strength was on full display. Aside from the Old Man with Brown Spots, Elder Xue Hongxin, no one else present was a match for him. With that in mind, what could they do?

”In that case, we were indeed too impulsive and have caused offense. Please, we ask for your forbearance,” the Old Man with Brown Spots, Xue Hongxin, said in a low voice, his face sullen. He then raised a hand toward Chen Fei in a gesture of apology.

If he were here alone without so many liabilities, given his status, strength, and seething rage toward Chen Fei, he would never have apologized so humbly or been the first to back down. But now, he truly had no other choice! There were simply too many ’encumbrances’ with him, especially Junn Yuanyi!

He is the beloved grandson of our Holy Fire Sect’s Half-Step Innate Ancestor. If he were to be killed here because of some disagreement, I, Xue Hongxin, would absolutely be held responsible! That’s a responsibility I can’t possibly bear!

Watching this scene, Junn Yuanyi’s lungs were about to explode with anger. Uncontrollable rage filled his eyes, but he still bit his lip so hard it almost bled, not daring to say another word. Clearly, he too feared that Chen Fei might strike him dead on a whim. He was terrified!

Does he have the strength? Does he actually have the audacity to kill me? Junn Yuanyi was unwilling to make that bet. He didn’t dare gamble!

”Forbearance?” A mocking sneer touched Chen Fei’s lips as he spoke slowly. ”You mean to say we should just let it go?”

”What else do you want? Don’t forget, we are from the Holy Fire Sect! Are you really going to start a blood feud with our sect for a mere commoner? It’s not worth it!” the Old Man with Brown Spots, Xue Hongxin, couldn’t help but retort angrily, his murky eyes blazing with rage.

If it weren’t for the ’encumbrances’ he was carrying, how could he possibly speak so humbly? But now, this young man, barely in his twenties, was still not satisfied and was pushing his luck! Did he really think he, Xue Hongxin, was made of clay, to be molded as he pleased?

Moreover, they were esteemed members of the Holy Fire Sect. In the Circle of Ancient Martial Arts in Southern Huaxia, their sect was a renowned second-rate power, possessing a profound heritage and a great reputation.

Yet this person was ignoring their status and background! Still not satisfied! Still pushing his luck! Was he looking down on the Holy Fire Sect?

”A blood feud? You really think too highly of yourselves.” Chen Fei merely scoffed. His gaze then shifted to the resentful, furious Junn Yuanyi. ”I seem to recall you telling me to ’get out’, didn’t you?” he asked playfully.

Junn Yuanyi’s pupils constricted. His lips quivered with anger as he retorted, ”What do you mean? You’ve already severed one of my arms! Aren’t you satisfied? Are you still going to push it? Let me be clear, my grandfather is a Half-Step Innate Powerhouse! If this truly escalates, it won’t end well for anyone!”

”You say that as if you’ve actually forgiven me in your heart,” Chen Fei smirked. ”If I’m not mistaken, you’re probably thinking that as soon as I leave, you’ll run back for reinforcements to get your revenge, right?”

He’s no fool! Of course, he could easily guess what the other party was thinking. After all, if he were in the same position, his reaction would likely be similar: feign compliance for now, then immediately gather reinforcements for revenge.

Junn Yuanyi’s expression froze. He never expected Chen Fei to see right through him!

That was exactly what I was thinking. Feign compliance, then immediately return to the Holy Fire Sect and beg my grandfather to come out of seclusion! I refuse to believe that no matter how much of a genius this guy is, he could be stronger than my grandfather, a Half-Step Innate! That’s completely unrealistic! Impossible! How dare he sever my arm!

The thought filled him with venomous resentment. He had already devised a thousand ways to make this bastard who dared to cut off his arm suffer a fate worse than death. He would make him feel the most excruciating pain in the world! He would have his family, his friends, and all his relatives annihilated!

But now, he’s seen through my plan, through the malice in my heart!

A cold chill ran down his spine, and his face went pale.

”Rest assured, as long as you agree to stop here, I, Junn Yuanyi, swear that I will never trouble you again. If I break this oath, may lightning strike me down!” The next moment, trembling, he raised his only remaining hand and swore an earnest-looking oath.

Of course, an oath was just an oath. In his heart, his venomous hatred for Chen Fei hadn’t lessened in the slightest; on the contrary, it had intensified. So he followed this up by making a true vow in his heart: he would make Chen Fei pay. He would make sure that bastard died!

”Slap yourself.”

But in the next instant, Chen Fei spoke the words, his face completely devoid of expression.

Slap himself? He wanted the distinguished Young Master of the Holy Fire Sect, Junn Yuanyi, to slap his own face?

It wasn’t just Junn Yuanyi whose face changed drastically. Even the Old Man with Brown Spots, Xue Hongxin, who had been suppressing his anger, finally snapped. His face turned grim as an intensely scorching aura erupted from him. ”Kid, I’m warning you for the last time! Don’t push it!”

”Heh, if you don’t like it, feel free to make a move! But I guarantee that if you do, none of you will walk out of this villa tonight! You’ll all be staying behind!” Chen Fei laughed coldly. Elder Xue Hongxin’s expression changed dramatically, his face turning hideous as his breathing grew ragged.

He thinks Chen Fei is threatening him. He believes that if he dares to continue, Chen Fei will leave everyone from the Holy Fire Sect here, including their Young Master, Junn Yuanyi. They would all be slaughtered, not one would be spared!

However, he didn’t realize that Chen Fei’s words also included him, the Elder of the Holy Fire Sect. In Chen Fei’s eyes, the old man with brown spots was only a sliver stronger than Flying Leopard Captain Liu Chun. He might be a bit of trouble, but killing him was definitely not impossible.

”As for you.” Chen Fei’s indifferent gaze swept back to Junn Yuanyi’s trembling face. ”I really detest people using foul language in my presence,” he said lightly. ”Slap yourself once, and we’ll consider this matter settled. Otherwise, you can face the consequences.”

Junn Yuanyi nearly burst a lung. His eyes were bloodshot, his lips trembled and turned a shade of blue, and his gaze was filled with ferocious venom. He was furious beyond measure.

He was Junn Yuanyi! The distinguished Young Master of the Holy Fire Sect! A super-genius the likes of which the sect hadn’t seen in decades! And his grandfather was the Ancestor of the Holy Fire Sect, a terrifying Half-Step Innate Powerhouse!

Who would ever dare to disrespect him? People usually couldn’t fawn over him enough!

But now, Chen Fei was actually telling him to slap his own face! In front of everyone!

This was the ultimate humiliation. His entire face contorted. ”Chen, don’t you go too far! If we really have a falling out, it’ll be bad for everyone!”

”Three.” Chen Fei simply held up three fingers.

”You really want to have a complete falling out with our Holy Fire Sect?” Junn Yuanyi’s forehead veins bulged as he roared with a savage expression.

”Two.” Chen Fei’s calm voice made his heart tremble.

”You, you, you…” He couldn’t help but point a shaking finger at Chen Fei, but this time, he couldn’t utter the same arrogant threats as before. Because Chen Fei’s eyes, locked on his, were growing colder. An icy presence gradually enveloped him, making his body tremble.

CLANG!

Seeing this, the Old Man with Brown Spots’ murky eyes flashed with violence. With a wave of his hands, the Holy Fire Token made a strange noise, as if he could no longer hold back. But in the next instant, his movement froze, and his face went slack with disbelief.

Because they only heard a crisp ’SMACK!’ as Junn Yuanyi, grinding his teeth, slapped himself with his remaining hand. This scene left the other Holy Fire Sect disciples utterly dumbfounded.

The… the Young Master… he actually slapped himself!? Are we dreaming?

”Are we good now?” Junn Yuanyi asked through gritted teeth after slapping himself.

Although he appeared tough on the outside, everyone present could see he was terrified. Otherwise, given his status and personality, he would never have done such a thing. He had brought complete and utter shame to his title as the Young Master of the Holy Fire Sect!

”I’m good, but my brother isn’t.” As he spoke, Chen Fei actually pulled a small camcorder out of his pocket. He grinned at Junn Yuanyi, his expression disarmingly harmless. ”Come on, record a video. An apology video for my brother, and this whole matter will be over. Simple, right?”

Simple, right?

Junn Yuanyi nearly coughed up a mouthful of blood. He could feel the scorching gazes of everyone around him, and his own face burned hot. He couldn’t believe that after making him slap himself, Chen Fei still wasn’t satisfied and was now demanding a damned apology video! You son of a bitch, were you just toying with me? At that moment, his only desire was to dismember Chen Fei, to torture him to death! Unfortunately, he lacked the strength and could only lower his head.

Anyway, I’ve already slapped myself. My dignity is already in shreds, so what’s one more humiliation? Junn Yuanyi consoled himself. Then, he obediently recorded the apology video, which lasted for a full three minutes.

When Chen Fei emerged from the seaside villa ten minutes later, his eyes were narrowed into a mischievous smirk.

Apart from those who had brought about their own doom earlier, he was very satisfied with this trip. He had taught the guy who dared to bully his brother a harsh, unforgettable lesson.

As for whether the other party would let the matter drop or return for revenge, he couldn’t care less. If they had the guts, they were welcome to try. After all, he was quite bored recently and needed something to do.
