”Hello, guests. I am the lobby manager of Nine Heavens of the Milky Way.” A short while later, a senior lobby manager ran over, sweating profusely. Even though the casino’s air conditioning was on full blast, he still felt hot all over, his hands clammy with sweat.

There was no helping it! What had he just heard? One of their female staff members had said a guest wanted to exchange one hundred million in chips—in US dollars, no less! What did that even mean? He feared that even building another Nine Heavens of the Milky Way wouldn’t cost that much! This had to be a joke! Impossible!

He had initially assumed the female staff member was joking, or perhaps someone was causing trouble. However, when he walked over and saw the Centurion Black Card on the counter, he couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath of cold air, a look of utter shock flashing across his eyes.

Having reached the position of lobby manager for Nine Heavens of the Milky Way, he naturally knew what that Centurion Black Card signified. It was the highest version of the black card, introduced by American Express in 1999. Known as the ’King of the World Black Cards’, only the world’s most elite tycoons were invited to own one!

At this realization, he suddenly began to tremble, his face turning pale as sweat beaded on his forehead. He abruptly understood that the earlier statement might not have been a joke; the person before him truly seemed qualified to exchange one hundred million US dollars worth of chips!

”Oh, hello. Could you please hurry up and help us exchange the chips? Surely your service isn’t always this slow...” Just then, Chen Fei spoke up, feigning impatience.

”G-g-guests, please, please wait just a moment! I will go and notify the general manager immediately. I apologize, but my rank isn’t high enough. I’m simply not qualified to handle a transaction of this magnitude, so, please, could you wait just a little longer?” the lobby manager stammered. A shiver ran through him as he wiped the sweat from his brow with a tissue, all while forcing an appeasing smile.

”Alright. Just be quick about it,” Chen Fei said coolly, as it wasn’t his intention to make things difficult for the man.

”Yes, yes, yes... Thank you for your understanding, esteemed guests. I’ll go notify the general manager right away.” The sweat-soaked lobby manager trotted away.

About ten minutes later, a man in a black suit hurried over, looking flustered and drenched in sweat. He was Ke Xiangdong, the current general manager of Nine Heavens of the Milky Way.

As soon as he arrived, he plastered a broad smile on his face and said, ”Hello, guests. I am Ke Xiangdong, the general manager of Nine Heavens of the Milky Way. My apologies for the wait.”

Given his position, he naturally understood the sheer significance of the Centurion Black Card. He dared not show the slightest negligence toward such a revered guest who possessed the King of the World Black Cards.

”The wait wasn’t too long, but can we get the chips now?” Before Chen Fei could even speak, Chen Yaoyang, who was standing to the side, interjected with some impatience.

Although he always acted obediently and respectfully in front of Chen Fei, in front of an outsider like Ke Xiangdong, he was still the acting head of the Chen Family. He was a man with immense clout and extraordinary status, a true top-tier magnate. He certainly didn’t need to be courteous to a mere casino general manager. His entire being radiated authority and dominance.

”Of course. A mere one hundred million US dollars is an amount that our Nine Heavens of the Milky Way can certainly provide. You there, go exchange one hundred million US dollars’ worth of chips for these guests,” Ke Xiangdong said with a smile. Although he could sense that Chen Yaoyang was no ordinary man and possessed a formidable aura, he was representing Nine Heavens of the Milky Way and naturally couldn’t appear weak.

As he spoke, someone took Chen Yaoyang’s Centurion Black Card and charged one hundred million US dollars to it.

At the same time, Chen Yaoyang’s private phone rang. It was Bank of America, calling to inquire about the funds. It couldn’t be helped; the sum was simply colossal—a whopping one hundred million!

A moment later, Nine Heavens of the Milky Way successfully swiped one hundred million US dollars from the Centurion Black Card, eliciting gasps of astonishment from the crowd.

My God, that was one hundred million US dollars! It was actually swiped, all exchanged for chips for Nine Heavens of the Milky Way.

”It’s real,” Ke Xiangdong, the general manager of Nine Heavens of the Milky Way, breathed deeply. He could already sense a hint of danger, and his heart pounded in his chest. He managed to squeeze out a smile and said, ”Please wait a moment, sir. The chips will be brought to you shortly.”

Shortly after, fifty VIP chips worth two million Australian dollars each, plus dozens of chips worth five hundred thousand Australian dollars each, were delivered by the staff.

”Sir, what would you like to play? Perhaps we should head up to the VIP floor first?” Ke Xiangdong asked, a corner of his eye twitching as he watched Chen Fei toy with the chips, forcing another smile.

”Mm, let’s go,” Chen Fei said with a smile, following the manager up to the VIP floor.

Unlike the resplendent, gilded main hall downstairs, the VIP floor above was far more understated and reserved. Though it seemed modest, everything was meticulously crafted to perfection. The murals, carpets, chandeliers, and decorative pieces were all items of great value. There were, of course, far fewer people than downstairs, but each one exuded an air of grandeur, clearly an extraordinary individual.

”This way, please, sir.”

Ke Xiangdong led Chen Fei into a private, top-tier VIP room and said with a smile, ”What would you like to play, sir? Baccarat, poker, or dice?”

”I’m a bit slow, so let’s keep it simple,” Chen Fei responded with a grin. ”Dice. The Sic Bo game I saw outside looks pretty good.”

Upon hearing this, Chen Yaoyang and the One-eyed Elder, who stood behind him, couldn’t help the surprised look that flashed in their eyes.

Although they had mentally prepared themselves, now that Chen Fei was about to start gambling against the Casino of the Nine Heavens of the Milky Way, they couldn’t help but feel a surge of doubt, their expressions turning strange. They couldn’t understand what Chen Fei was really up to. The Chen Family itself owned one of Macau’s six top-tier casinos, the Golden Crown. They were, of course, well aware that going up against the house was an utterly foolish act—practically suicide! After all, casinos made their living from ’gambling’ and certainly had several internationally renowned ’Gods of Gambling’ on their payroll! At that level, how could a mere twenty-something-year-old possibly win?

Even so, they kept their doubts to themselves, not daring to voice them. After all, Chen Fei’s cultivation level was too terrifying, making them hesitant to step out of line or question him. Besides, they figured it was ’only’ a few hundred million. Even if he lost, it wouldn’t be enough to cripple the Chen Family.

Clearly, before the game had even begun, they were already pessimistic about Chen Fei’s chances. They thought his decision to challenge the Casino of the Nine Heavens of the Milky Way from within its own walls was impulsive and far too arrogant.
