Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 144: Chapter 90: For You, Always a Hug (Part 2)

The Three Billion Lady dragged her suitcase and walked away, while Blake Leaf stood there watching her back, lost in thought.

If there’s really a clue about his identity, maybe he still has a chance...

...

On Monday morning, Blake Leaf got up early, had breakfast, packed his luggage, checked out, and went straight to the neighborhood office he visited yesterday.

He arrived quite early; people here had just started their workday and were in the atmosphere of having breakfast and drinking tea.

He waited outside for a while before someone called him in and asked, ”Young man, what can I do for you? Our staff on duty said you came by yesterday?”

It seemed that his wandering around here yesterday had been noticed.

Blake Leaf took a deep breath and nervously used the excuse he had prepared in advance, ”Well, I’m a student at Yan University, and here are my student ID and ID card.”

”I’m here to conduct a social survey. I wanted to ask if you know about the ownership history of the address of that Chanel flagship store there, from twenty-some years ago. Do you have any records?”

”The address of that Chanel flagship store? Oh, wait a moment, I’ll look into the industrial and commercial registration information.”

The staff at the neighborhood office became much more enthusiastic once they saw he was a student from Yan University.

He said enthusiastically, ”Please take a seat, I’ll go check the records.”

In recent years, the government has been promoting office automation, and although older records are still in paper form, records from when the Chanel flagship store first arrived in C City more than twenty years ago have been digitized.

He directly searched the address of the Chanel flagship store and found the information about the owner of the address.

This information is not considered personal privacy and can be accessed by anyone through the Sky Eye inquiry system for enterprise registration status.

The person printed out the information and said to Blake Leaf, ”Found it, the owner of this address hasn’t changed for more than twenty years, it’s always been Su Changfeng.”

Blake Leaf suddenly stood up, his eyes wide open, unable to suppress his excitement, ”Did you say it’s still Su Changfeng?! She’s still alive?!”

”Of course she’s alive... She owns several storefronts, all rented out to international brands, making a lot of money!” The staff member said with a cheery laugh, ”Are you planning to go interview her?”

”Hmm, if it’s not too much trouble, I’d like to give it a try.” Blake Leaf couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear.

He was simply overjoyed, feeling like he had won a lottery jackpot, with an unrealistic sense of disbelief.

Holding the current company address for Su Changfeng, Blake Leaf floated out of the neighborhood office.

Once he got into the taxi, he remembered to message the Three Billion Lady.

His first message on WeChat was surprisingly: ”Your roommate miscalculated, my parents might still be alive!”

The Three Billion Lady quickly replied: ...

[Three Billion Lady]: You found them?

[Blake Leaf]: I’m on my way to her company. I just checked the address records at the neighborhood office and found out that the owner of several storefronts there has always been Su Changfeng... Never changed...

[Three Billion Lady]: !!!

[Three Billion Lady]: Holy crap! Blake Leaf, you’re rich!

[Three Billion Lady]: Your mom is a real estate tycoon!!!

[Three Billion Lady]: President Leaf, can I hold onto your leg? — Hug Bigwig’s Leg.JPG.

Blake Leaf laughed and replied immediately: For you, always.

The Three Billion Lady was originally joking, but seeing Blake Leaf suddenly becoming serious, she was a little taken aback, and quickly put her phone away, waiting to attend the department’s job fair with the Crazy Lady and Lawrence Winters.

It was still early, and none of them in the dorm had gotten up yet while Blake Leaf had already been running around C City all morning.

The Three Billion Lady thought about this and sighed with emotion, propping her head up from the bed and saying to Lawrence Winters, ”Lawrence, you’re amazing... Even though Blake Leaf’s parents didn’t pass away, he really found out his background according to your clues!”

Lawrence Winters rolled over and sat up, full of surprise, ”What?! His parents... are really still alive?!”

This is impossible!

The Three Billion Lady: ”...Are you disappointed? Actually, you’re already amazing, this tiny flaw doesn’t hinder the great image I have of you in my heart!”

Lawrence Winters watched her anxiously, wanting to say something but stopping herself.

She knew her own abilities well.

During the divination that day, she was not sure about anything else, but she was very sure that Blake Leaf’s parents had passed away.

Because as a Heavenly Master, finding people might not be her strong suit, but knowing whether someone’s parental connection still exists is pretty much a basic skill.

Blake Leaf’s parental palace was dark and dull, and it had been that way for a long time, indicating that his parents hadn’t been around since he was very young.

The Crazy Lady peeked her head out from the covers, seeing Lawrence Winters looking puzzled, and quickly tried to smooth things over: ”Eh? Has Blake Leaf already found his biological parents? He hasn’t done a DNA test yet, is it certain they are his real parents?”

The Three Billion Lady came back to her senses and quickly sent a message to Blake Leaf: Once you find them, remember to secretly take a photo and let me take a look!

Blake Leaf replied: Definitely!

At this time, the taxi Blake Leaf was in had already arrived in front of a commercial building in the center of C City.

Atop the building, there was a large sign that read: Ride Wind Commercial Properties Ltd.

According to the information he found on the Sky Eye website, this was the company jointly founded by Su Changfeng and her husband Nathan.

Of which Su Changfeng holds 60% of the shares, Nathan 10%, and the remaining 30% is held by an unknown investment company.

Blake Leaf got out of the car, gazing at the very upscale high-rise commercial building, his heart pounding.

He was finally going to meet his biological parents; would they recognize him at first sight?

He absolutely needed to find out how they had lost him in the first place!

Blake Leaf didn’t want to believe that he was abandoned by them voluntarily.

After all, he wasn’t a girl, nor did he have any physical defects, so who would want to abandon a healthy male infant over twenty years ago?!
