Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 84: Chapter 62: Drama Academy Graduate

Members of the student council running from behind immediately took off their coats and jumped into the lake.

There was a splash, like dumplings being thrown into water.

Crazy Girl turned pale and rushed over to pull Lawrence Winters up from the ground, asking anxiously, ”Lawrence, are you okay? You scared me to death just now. I thought she was going to drag you into the water.”

The girls who followed initially wanted to scold Lawrence Winters, but they had just seen Lawrence holding Molly Zimmerman, being dragged and falling on the ground.

Her hands seemed to have scraped, with debris and dust from the lawn, appearing somewhat dirty under the streetlights by the lake.

They glanced at Lawrence Winters with complex expressions, said nothing, and went to the lakeside to help rescue Molly Zimmerman.

Crazy Girl helped Lawrence Winters to walk to the side and whispered, ”...This lake is actually shallow, if you’re tall enough you can just walk across...”

Lawrence Winters: ”...”

She suppressed her laughter, and whimpered, ”My hand hurts... Let’s go to the infirmary to bandage it...”

Her hand was actually fine, just brushed against the lawn.

But since Molly Zimmerman fell into the water, how could she be ”unhurt”?

So her hand had to be ”injured”!

Seeing that people had already rescued Molly Zimmerman from the lake, Crazy Girl finally took Lawrence Winters to the school infirmary.

It was so late that only the emergency room in the school infirmary was still open.

They hadn’t finished registering when members of the student council came in noisily.

There were a lot of them, running around signing Molly up with a doctor, paying fees, finding a bed, more diligent than with their own parents.

Lawrence Winters watched for a while, finding it quite amusing.

Crazy Girl was indignant, whispering, ”...A bunch of useless helpers! If it weren’t for you and me, the dorm leader would have already been floating in the lake!”

Lawrence Winters quickly covered her mouth, whispering, ”Alright, despite the cold weather, at least they jumped into the water, so let’s not say such things.”

She understood the natural tendency of people to favor the ”underdog.”

Crazy Girl got her meaning, looked at her hand, and said, ”Still hurt? If it’s not too severe, why don’t we go back and use the Band-Aid in the first aid kit?”

At this hour, the emergency room was fully occupied by Molly Zimmerman’s ”guardians”, and they couldn’t even see a nurse.

Lawrence Winters’ hand was actually not injured; she was just acting for the full effect.

”Forget it, let’s go back.” Lawrence Winters shrugged, ”It’s a minor injury, won’t be fatal.”

She took her phone, recorded the scene in the emergency room, then returned to the dormitory with Crazy Girl.

As soon as they entered, Erica looked up and said to them, ”Tsk tsk, little Lawrence, you’ve really gotten into trouble.”

”What happened?” Lawrence Winters washed her hands in the bathroom, applied hand cream, then walked to her desk to pour a cup of hot water, first for Crazy Girl, then for herself.

Crazy Girl took the hot water, checked her hand to make sure she was fine, and sat back without a word.

”The dorm leader, you, and God of Learning’s love triangle!” Erica smiled broadly, with the mischievous look of a gossiper who found juicy gossip, ”I thought God of Learning would make a statement, and this would be over. —Tsk tsk, I was too pure and naive.”

Lawrence Winters was slightly taken aback, ”No way? The dorm leader just fell into the lake, and she still has time to post online in the emergency room?”

”...You also know she fell into the lake?” Erica covered her mouth, chuckling, ”Posting online doesn’t require her to do it in person... She has plenty of little minions.”

”Right!” Lawrence Winters took a sip of hot water, saying indifferently, ”Let me see what the story is this time! I tell you, life in senior year is dull, so I rely on these drama kings for entertainment.”

She sat down, opened her computer, and expertly refreshed the campus forum page.

Sure enough, there was a lively discussion.

This time, it was ”The heartless man denies responsibility, the infatuated woman angrily jumps into the lake.”

Plus, this time there were not only text descriptions but also videos!

There were pictures, images, and sounds!

Like a TV drama.

Lawrence Winters watched with great interest.

After watching the entire thread, there was no doubt that the video had been edited.

Only kept Molly Zimmerman’s initial scream of ”...Let me go! Let me die! Let me die! What’s the point of living?! Humiliated to this degree, what face do I have to live in this world?!”

Lawrence Winters’ appearance was cut out by them.
