Chapter 2287: Chapter 2288: Reunion with Ning Zihan (Part 8)

After several apologies, the person fell asleep again on the floor, loosening his grip on An Baobei’s right foot.

An Baobei was both shocked and incredulous.

Then, as if she thought of something, she nodded: ”As expected, Liang Youxu wasn’t lying. When you get drunk, you really talk nonsense.”

Then, she pulled her right foot out of his hand.

She squatted down, hugged her knees, and stared intently at the already asleep Ning Zihan for a while before she arrogantly said: ”Considering how pitiful you were as a kid and how sincerely you apologized just now, I’ll forgive everything from before, but...”

As she spoke, An Baobei stood up and gave Ning Zihan a hard kick. Then, she laughed with complete relief: ”Finally, I feel at ease!”

No longer caring about Ning Zihan, since she had already dragged him into his room where no outsiders would see, An Baobei happily left Ning Zihan’s room.

She even closed Ning Zihan’s room door behind her.

As for Ning Zihan, he slept on the floor of the room all night, and when he woke up the next day, he couldn’t believe he had used the floor as a bed.

Glancing at the door, he breathed a big sigh of relief. Luckily, the door was closed, so no one saw; otherwise, it would have been too humiliating.

After freshening up, ready to head out, Ning Zihan opened the door, planning to join his dad Ning Wuze for breakfast. And just as he stepped out, he bumped into An Baobei.

Since Su Chengyu and Ning Wenxian got together, every time An Baobei saw him, she treated him like he was invisible. Today was no exception, as she walked straight past him as if she hadn’t seen him.

Ning Zihan was used to it, but he still felt a bit hurt. However, thinking that this was fine, even if he felt hurt, he could accept it.

His dad is getting old, and although good-tempered, loves to nag. It didn’t take long before the conversation turned to him needing to get married. Feeling impatient, he only accompanied his dad for breakfast before returning to his room.

Pulled out his phone to play, and as soon as he logged into his alt account ”One Person” on Weibo, he saw An Baobei had messaged him, sent last night.

He clicked open the chat box to see.

An Baobei had sent a string of very joyful emojis, followed immediately by: ”Haha, I kicked him!”

Him?

”Couldn’t be me, right...” Ning Zihan muttered to himself, then shook his head, ”How could it be me.”

Thinking so, he typed a message and sent it: ”Him? Who?”

Before long, An Baobei replied with a message: ”Ning Zihan!”

”...” Ning Zihan looked silently down at the area above his waist; although covered by clothes, he’d noticed a bruise there when he showered that morning. Was it really her kick???

Unconsciously, Ning Zihan furrowed his brow tightly. What really happened last night that made her kick him?

Thinking in this way, he typed and sent: ”Why did you kick him?”

An Baobei, too lazy to type, sent a voice message back immediately, in a very cheerful tone: ”I was upset. Who told him to say I was clinging to him and hurt me so much before? Now that I kicked him, I feel much better~”

Ning Zihan was silent for a moment before he typed another question: ”Did he let you kick him?”

An Baobei laughed heartily: ”He was drunk, lying on the ground like a dead pig. I kicked him, and he didn’t react. Even if he didn’t want it, he couldn’t help it.”

Ning Zihan: ”...”

So, was it that he fell asleep on the floor last night without even closing the door?
