Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2262: Chapter 2263: What Exactly Do You Want from Him?

Ning Wenxian was completely stunned.

She never expected her brother to agree, yet Su Chengyu disagreed.

Ning Zihan, who had listened to what Su Chengyu said, was also somewhat bewildered. Why aren’t things developing as he expected?

What do they want from him?

...

Even though Su Changyi and the others always took videos and photos of the babies for An Jing to see, she still wanted to go and see them herself.

Su Changyi was helpless and could only push the hospital bed every day, taking An Jing, who lay on the bed, to the large glass window beside the incubator room to look.

Since he had reserved this entire floor, it was quite quiet, so he wasn’t afraid of the bed blocking anyone’s way in the corridor.

The babies still couldn’t nurse on their own; the doctors and nurses used nasogastric tubes to drip milk directly into their stomachs to keep them alive.

Every time An Jing and the others saw this scene, their eyes reddened. Especially An Jing, Su Haoyu, and An Baobei, who cried with tears constantly streaming down their faces.

Such small children, and they have to suffer like this. How can they bear it?

A month later, An Jing had fully recovered, so Su Changyi no longer restricted her; she could stay at the incubator room door all the time if she wanted.

Both babies were in the incubator room, and you can bet An Jing didn’t want to go anywhere; she just wanted to stay with her two children.

Su Changyi initially stayed at the hospital with An Jing too, but sometimes when there were major issues at the company he had to handle, he would go back to work. If there weren’t such urgent matters, he stayed at the hospital, working while accompanying An Jing with the babies.

Su Haoyu, Su Chengyu, and An Baobei didn’t stay as constantly as An Jing, but they still visited the hospital almost every day to see the babies.

No one mentioned Ning Zihan and Ning Wenxian anymore; aside from worrying about the babies, the atmosphere in the Su Family was as normal as ever.

After Su Mo and Su Xing stayed in the incubator for five months, all indicators showed normal, and after a few days of observation, the doctor finally told An Jing and the others that the babies could be taken home and raised now; as long as they were well cared for, there should be no issues.

That day happened to be December 20th in the solar calendar, and the weather was a bit cold, but because the babies were healthy enough to come home, An Jing and the others were very happy and didn’t feel cold at all.

However, even though both babies were five months old and healthy, they were still much smaller in stature compared to other five-month-old children.

The Su Family, which previously felt burdened because the babies were always in the hospital’s incubator, now felt relieved as the babies came home, bringing laughter and joy.

Now they could hold their grandchildren, play with them, and Su Haoyu couldn’t stop grinning every day.

With the babies healthy and home, the guilt An Baobei and Su Chengyu felt also lessened significantly.

”Sister-in-law, let me hold Mo Mo.” Su Xing was currently in Su Haoyu’s arms, who was happily playing with her. If he wanted to hold her, he naturally had to ask An Jing for Mo Mo.

Upon hearing this, An Jing smiled and handed the baby Mo Mo she had been holding to Su Chengyu, along with a bottle, so Su Chengyu could help feed Mo Mo. The baby Mo Mo was crying loudly because she was hungry.

The cries were really loud, but An Jing and the others felt happy and reassured hearing them.
