Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2251: Chapter 2252: What He Did Was Truly Too Cruel

After lunch, everyone sat in the living room for a while before going back to their rooms for a nap.

An Jing and Su Changyi, worried that An Baobei might overthink, specifically talked to her before heading back to their room: ”It’s really not your fault. The root cause of your second uncle and this Ning Wenxian lies in Ning Wenxian not liking your second uncle enough. If she truly liked him that much, even if Ning Zihan opposed, even if Ning Wenxian listened to Ning Zihan, she would still take the initiative to fight for it, make Ning Zihan agree to her being with your second uncle, rather than just listening to Ning Zihan and not dating your second uncle.”

An Baobei smiled and said, ”Dad, Mom, Grandpa, and my second uncle have already talked to me. I won’t overthink it, so don’t worry.”

Once An Baobei returned to her room and closed the door, the smile on her face instantly disappeared.

How could she not overthink?

Ning Zihan specifically mentioned that he didn’t want to have any involvement with her, which is why he disagreed with her second uncle and aunt.

In that lifetime in Xiyun, her second uncle and aunt loved each other for a lifetime. In this lifetime, even though now her aunt doesn’t seem to like her second uncle that much, she firmly believes that in this life too, her second uncle and aunt will be together.

And how could she become an obstacle for her second uncle and aunt to be together?

If it weren’t for her, her second uncle and aunt should already be dating, and Ning Zihan wouldn’t have opposed this at all.

The more she thought about it, the more upset An Baobei felt.

How could Ning Zihan do this, when she wouldn’t even contact him anymore? Even though she might encounter Ning Zihan because of her aunt, she had already thought about it, treating him like a stranger. But Ning Zihan insisted on...

She originally felt like she didn’t like Ning Zihan anymore, but now with Ning Zihan acting like this, not to mention whether she still liked him in her heart, she certainly hated how Ning Zihan was acting right now.

What he’s doing is really too harsh.

He’s completely forcing her to leave this home.

An Baobei sat on the bed, hugging her knees, deep in thought and lonely, after much contemplation, she finally decided she should fulfill Su Chengyu and Ning Wenxian.

Her second uncle has always been kind to her, no matter what, she couldn’t let herself become an obstacle in the way of their relationship.

Once she made the decision, An Baobei sniffed, her throat tightened uncontrollably, and her eyes reddened.

This home also belonged to her parents, who doted on her so much, she really couldn’t bear to leave.

...

The next day, Su Changyi took An Jing to the hospital for a prenatal checkup; A few close friends of Su Chengyu, knowing his mood was down, came early to take him out for some fun; Su Haoyu, after breakfast, also went out, saying that An Jing would give birth in a month or two and he wanted to personally buy some baby supplies to show his feelings.

Seeing that her parents, grandfather, and second uncle were all out, and feeling it was a good time to leave, An Baobei simply packed a few things into a rather large backpack, then placed a letter she wrote last night on the desk in her room and went downstairs to head out.

The housekeeper and servants saw her and asked where she was going.

An Baobei smiled and lied, ”Someone asked me to go hiking.”

The housekeeper and servants didn’t suspect anything and just watched An Baobei leave.

An Baobei left without looking back.

The reason she left secretly without telling her parents was, firstly, fearing they wouldn’t let her go, and secondly, she disliked farewell scenes, so it was better to leave alone, and so she did.
