Chapter 2281: Chapter 2282: Reunion with Ning Zihan (Part 2)

About why Ning Zihan dislikes women so much, a month ago, Ning Wenxian had already talked to An Baobei during a chat, so An Baobei knew. Now Ning Wenxian is just pretending, putting on an act for Su Chengyu and Su Haoyu, to prevent them from noticing anything unusual.

The four of them have traveled here, so they mustn’t let others find out.

An Baobei cooperates, immediately saying with a generous smile: ”Aunt, don’t say that. It’s all in the past; let’s not bring it up again. Once you marry in, we’ll all be one family.”

Su Haoyu follows up by asking: ”Wen Xian, now that you’re pregnant, when do you plan to marry Chengyu?”

Before Ning Wenxian can speak, Su Chengyu says: ”Dad, shouldn’t you meet Wen Xian’s family first regarding the marriage? I think it’s better to discuss this matter with her family.”

Su Haoyu promptly agrees: ”Absolutely! For such an important event like marriage, both families should definitely meet and discuss beforehand!”

Previously, when his eldest son married, due to his daughter-in-law’s special family situation, the two families did not meet.

Ning Wenxian smiles: ”Although my mother is still alive, the family all considers her dead.”

Which means, even if the families meet, Ning Wenxian’s mother won’t be present.

The state of Ning Wenxian’s mom can be roughly known from the reports, so they don’t say much about her mom but ask: ”When can we meet your dad?”

Because they are still somewhat resistant to Ning Zihan, they try not to mention him, focusing instead on Ning Wenxian’s dad — Ning Wuze.

Ning Wenxian says: ”I haven’t told my dad about Chengyu and me, but my dad is very easygoing. He used to really like Chengyu too. I’ll talk to him tonight and you can arrange a time to meet.”

Su Haoyu immediately agrees.

Su Changyi and the others have no objections either.

In the evening, Ning Wenxian talked to her dad about her relationship with Su Chengyu. Her dad was happy and raised no objections, but he asked her to also inform her brother Ning Zihan.

If Ning Zihan were unkind to the person originally owning this body, Ning Wenxian could choose not to recognize him as her brother. However, Ning Zihan had always been nice to the original owner, and now that she occupied this body, Ning Wenxian felt that regardless of her Emperor, father, imperial sibling, sister-in-law, niece all disliking him, she must acknowledge him.

So, since coming over, Ning Wenxian genuinely treated Ning Zihan as an elder brother, without distancing herself.

Thus, even if Ning Wuze didn’t mention it, Ning Wenxian would have called Ning Zihan to share the news.

Moreover, she’s been in S city for so long and has contacted this brother several times. Her brother already knows about her and Su Chengyu and hasn’t objected further, which means he approves of her relationship with Su Chengyu.

As soon as Ning Zihan answers the phone, Ning Wenxian cheerfully says: ”Brother, I’m pregnant! One week!”

On the other end, Ning Zihan’s eyes instantly turn cold: ”Was he forcing you?”

Ning Wenxian hurriedly shakes her head, denying: ”No, it just happened naturally.”

Ning Zihan says: ”You just told him you were together half a month ago, and you got pregnant so soon. Did you not take precautions? Or did he fear his family would disapprove, so he made you pregnant to marry by pregnancy?”
