Chapter 2254: Chapter 2255: Premature Birth

Su Changyi carried An Jing into the hospital. After the doctor took a look, they said An Jing was going into early labor and had to deliver. Su Changyi accompanied An Jing into the delivery room. An Jing was in excruciating pain. The past three deliveries had been painful enough that Su Changyi didn’t want An Jing to go through it again, but it had to be done.

Unable to do anything else, Su Changyi could only hold An Jing’s hand tightly.

Outside the delivery room, Su Haoyu and Su Chengyu anxiously waited, both pacing back and forth, full of worry and concern.

Each time they heard An Jing’s cries of pain from the delivery room, Su Haoyu and Su Chengyu were startled.

At this moment, everyone’s thoughts were on An Jing and the two children in her belly. As for An Baobei, no one had the mind to think about her right now.

An hour later, An Jing gave birth to the first child, a boy; five minutes later, she gave birth to the second child, a girl. Because An Jing had an unexpected early birth, the two children were not fully developed and were very weak, having to be placed in an incubator.

As for An Jing, after giving birth to the two children, she passed out.

Su Changyi first tended to An Jing, and after ensuring she was okay, he went to see his two children, both lying in the incubator, one resembling him, and the other resembling his wife.

”Doctor, will my grandson and granddaughter be alright?” Su Haoyu looked worriedly at the two weak little ones in the incubator, urgently grabbing the doctor’s arm and asking.

The doctor said, ”I can’t guarantee anything right now. The children are not fully developed yet. We need to observe them until they mature, are able to breastfeed, and have no other complications before they can be taken out of the incubator.”

Hearing this, Su Haoyu, in his anxiety, started hitting and scolding Su Chengyu again. Su Chengyu, eyes red, did not evade or avoid, letting Su Haoyu hit and scold him.

If anything happened to his niece and nephew, he would never forgive himself for the rest of his life.

Suddenly, Su Chengyu’s phone rang; it was Ning Zihan calling.

Su Chengyu had no intention of answering and wanted to hang up directly, but Su Haoyu grabbed the phone from him, answered it, and started cursing, ”You heartless bastard, what are you calling for?! If it weren’t for you disagreeing, how would our Baobei have run away from home? How would our Jingjing have been driven to early labor? Our Jingjing was only seven months pregnant and carrying two babies. These two children are so small, and their survival is uncertain! You’re bringing calamity upon yourself! Heaven will punish you!”

After cursing, without waiting for Ning Zihan to speak, Su Haoyu hung up the phone.

On the other side, Ning Zihan never expected things to escalate like this. His disagreement with his sister being with Su Chengyu was solely to sever any entanglement between him and An Baobei.

He never intended for An Baobei to leave that home. Nor did he intend to cause An Jing to go into early labor and deliver two children whose survival was uncertain.

But now...

Ning Zihan pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. Earlier, he called Su Changyi to ask if An Baobei had run away, but during the conversation, Su Changyi abruptly hung up. When he tried calling Su Changyi again, there was no answer.

He later thought he should call Su Chengyu to ask.

Only to find out An Baobei had indeed run away, and An Jing had gone into early labor because of it...

Ning Zihan pinched the bridge of his nose even harder. Ever since meeting An Baobei, so many things had spiraled out of control. Before, everything went according to his plan as long as he wanted it.
