Chapter 2278: Chapter 2279: What If the Kiss Goes Wrong?

But as soon as she finished speaking, she felt that she was being too shameless, so she quickly lowered her head again, and whispered, ”I really like kids.”

Su Chengyu saw her neck turning red, an indescribable charming beauty, he couldn’t help but feel playful, so he teased, ”It’s not just one baby, you know? My dad wants me to have lots of babies, and I also want lots of them.”

Ning Wenxian lowered her head even more, her voice as faint as a mosquito’s hum, ”As long as I can give birth, I also want lots.”

Although Ning Wenxian’s voice was very, very soft, Su Chengyu still heard it clearly. First, he froze, and then, he didn’t know what to say.

After a long time without hearing Su Chengyu’s voice, Ning Wenxian slightly lifted her head, sneaking a glance at Su Chengyu. Seeing Su Chengyu staring at her, she immediately lowered her head again, her face, ears, and neck turning three shades redder than before.

At this point, Su Chengyu finally said, ”I haven’t even held your hand yet, and we’re already talking about having kids?”

Ning Wenxian lowered her head a bit more and extended a hand for Su Chengyu to hold.

Su Chengyu looked at the slender white hand reaching out, only to find it amusing.

Though inexperienced, he indeed knew quite a lot, and he had quite a thick skin, rarely feeling embarrassed or shy. But since the lady had already initiated, he held her hand.

He had touched her hand before while treating her injury, but this felt completely different.

He held her hand while chuckling, ”Hand-holding done, should we kiss next, before thinking about kids?”

Ning Wenxian kept her head down for a long while, then she closed her eyes, raised her head, her face flushed red, in a gesture inviting Su Chengyu to kiss.

Su Chengyu found it even more amusing, didn’t kiss her but said, ”I’ve never kissed anyone before, not sure what it feels like to kiss you. What if it doesn’t feel good?”

Before she could reply, he continued, ”I know a lot about this stuff, but having never practiced, I fear I might kiss poorly, and what if you dislike me for it?”

”Also,” he went on, ”if both dislike it, no big deal, we can part ways. But if only one dislikes it while the other is very fond, then what? Do we still stay together?”

”...”

”...”

”...”

Su Chengyu babbled on for five minutes, Ning Wenxian’s neck got sore from being raised, her eyes grew tired from being closed, yet he hadn’t kissed her, leaving Ning Wenxian both shy and speechless.

No wonder her sister-in-law said his previous girlfriends couldn’t tolerate his ways, hence his first kiss was still intact.

Thinking this, Ning Wenxian felt quite delighted. No matter whether it was in Tianyun, or here, only she can tolerate her Emperor’s ways; she and her Emperor were indeed a match made in heaven.

Seeing that he talked for a full five minutes with Ning Wenxian not showing any impatience, still maintaining her pose to let him kiss, Su Chengyu felt quite moved, but still didn’t kiss, continuing his chatter on what to do if both parties found the first kiss unsatisfactory.

Finally, after Su Chengyu had exhausted his words, he felt completely relaxed, leaned in, and quickly kissed Ning Wenxian’s lips.

Like a dragonfly skimming, yet Ning Wenxian’s face reddened even more.

Of course, Ning Wenxian found it hard to lower her neck back down. After all, her neck had grown stiff from being raised for too long.
