Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1783: Chapter 1784: I Also Want to Stop You, But I Can’t Right Now

Abort?!

Upon hearing the word ’abort’, Tobanya became agitated and shouted, ”No, I will not abort. This child, even if I have to die, I will give birth to it! I want to give birth!”

Meng Zhuqing’s heart felt as if it were being cut by knives.

An Jing couldn’t find words to comfort them and could only stand aside, feeling deeply upset.

Gong Juechen, however, remained calm as he was accustomed to such matters. He shrugged and said, ”I’ll first prescribe two doses of medicine for you to take. I’ll give you and Zhuzhu one day to thoroughly discuss whether you want to keep this child or not.”

”No discussion needed,” Tobanya immediately responded, ”I beg you to help me keep this child! No matter what, I must give birth to it!” Even if it cost her life, she would bear this child.

”Yao’er, let’s not keep this child, alright... let’s not...” Meng Zhuqing tightly held Tobanya, his eyes red, choking with emotion, pleading that Tobanya choose not to keep the child.

He truly did not want to lose her.

If something were to happen to her...

Meng Zhuqing dared not even contemplate that outcome.

”How can we not...” Tobanya looked at Meng Zhuqing and, almost instantly, tears streamed down her face, ”I got pregnant with great difficulty. If I terminate it, I really won’t be able to get pregnant again... I will not abort, I won’t... won’t...”

”You two should discuss this thoroughly.” Having said that, Gong Juechen turned and left for the outer room to prepare the prescription.

An Jing also felt that this matter should be carefully deliberated by the parents of the child before making a decision. Thus, she also left the inner room and then sat at the table in the outer room, watching Gong Juechen write the prescription.

Inner room.

”Husband, let me give birth to the child, please... please...” Tobanya cried while pleading with Meng Zhuqing for his consent.

She truly wanted to give birth to the child.

Meng Zhuqing cried too, his voice choked with emotion: ”What if something happens to you?”

Tobanya shook her head while crying: ”No matter what happens to me, I only want to give birth to this child.”

”Can’t you consider my feelings?” Meng Zhuqing cried with her. He feared something would happen to her.

Gong Juechen said that there’s a high possibility of a difficult labor.

”I want to care about you too, but right now I can’t...” Tobanya was in agonizing pain, crying until she nearly passed out, ”This is the child I’ve long awaited. I’ve always wanted to bear a child for you, I will not terminate it... I will not terminate it... If you make me abort my child, it’s like taking my life, Husband...”

”But there’s a high possibility of a difficult labor, this child may not necessarily be born safely...”

”But there’s also a chance that it’ll be born safely! Even if the possibility is small, I want to try! Even if it costs my life!”

”Yao’er...” The thought that it might be two dead bodies made Meng Zhuqing agonize deeply, not only losing the child but also her, made tears flow fiercely from his eyes.

At this moment, he truly wished she had never become pregnant.

If she wasn’t pregnant, these things wouldn’t happen, making him and her suffer so unbearably now.

After a long time before he could speak again, Meng Zhuqing continued to cry and said to Tobanya, ”Yao’er, please listen... listen, alright? Be obedient and abort this child, alright...”

He begged her.

But Tobanya simply couldn’t listen.

Only to see Tobanya shaking her head again while crying, ”I won’t... I won’t... I want to give birth to this child... I want to give birth... give birth...”
