Chapter 1758: Chapter 1759: Germaphobe?

An Jing handed the letter and the silver note to Tobanya, instructing her to give them to Gong Juese.

Tobanya and Gong Juese were sisters-in-law. Originally, their relationship wasn’t great due to Gong Juechen, but since the last time they went together with Xiao Changyi to find An Jing, their relationship had improved significantly.

The Meng Residence had not moved; Old Lady Meng was still in the Imperial Capital with her eldest grandson, Meng Sibo. Gong Juese and Meng Lanqing only brought their youngest son, Meng Sifeng, and were staying at the Royal Palace. An Jing assigned them a courtyard not far from the ones of Tobanya and Meng Zhuqing.

As soon as Tobanya handed the letter and silver note to Gong Juechen, she returned to help An Jing and the others take care of An Yiqi, An Yilin, and An Yizhi, the three little beauties.

Since Tobanya and Meng Zhuqing were the adopted parents of Jing Xingqingyun, An Jing and Xiao Changyi had Kirin Stop also call Tobanya and Meng Zhuqing adopted parents. They even taught Kirin Stop to kowtow slightly to Tobanya and Meng Zhuqing as a recognition ceremony, and taught Kirin Stop to call them adopted parents. It took a few days for Kirin Stop to learn how to call them properly.

Tobanya and Meng Zhuqing have always been dedicated in caring for An Jing and Xiao Changyi’s children. Now that the children were their adopted children, they were even more devoted.

”Dirty... dirty... wah—” Little An Yilin extended his slightly muddy finger towards Tobanya, who was closest to him, first saying it was dirty and then bursting into tears.

Tobanya’s heart ached instantly, and she hurriedly took out a handkerchief to wipe the mud off An Yilin’s fingers, softly comforting, ”Adopted mother will clean it for you, Lin’er, don’t cry.”

As soon as An Jing heard An Yilin’s loud cries, she came over and asked, ”What’s wrong here?”

Tobanya replied, ”Lin’er’s hand got some mud on it, he thinks it’s dirty, so he’s crying.”

An Jing couldn’t help but frown, ”This child seems to love cleanliness a lot, he cries just with a little dirt.”

Saying this, An Jing squatted down, gently comforting, ”Lin’er, be good, your adopted mother has wiped it clean for you. It’s not dirty anymore, let’s not cry. Not crying, okay?”

Even though An Jing gently wiped away An Yilin’s tears, he still sobbed.

An Jing consoled him for a while longer before An Yilin finally calmed down, obediently staying in Tobanya’s arms.

Still squatting there, An Jing looked at the well-behaved little An Yilin nestled in Tobanya’s arms and couldn’t help but sigh again before saying to her husband, ”Husband, why do I feel like our little Lin has a bit of OCD for cleanliness?”

At first, she didn’t notice, but after being around him for a while, she realized their sixth son couldn’t stand any dirt at all and would wail with just a bit of dirt.

Xiao Changyi corrected, ”He just likes cleanliness.”

Thinking about it, An Jing also felt she misspoke and said, ”Yes, he just likes cleanliness.”

Just then, An Yiqi, with some mud in his hand, grinned mischievously and smeared a bit on An Yilin’s hand.

As soon as An Yilin saw it, he let out another loud cry.

Only then did An Jing and the others realize that the mud on An Yilin’s fingers earlier was An Yiqi’s doing.

Tobanya hurriedly wiped An Yilin’s hand clean again. An Jing first comforted An Yilin for a few sentences before scolding An Yiqi, ”Qi’er, how can you bully your brother like this? Your brother is very afraid of dirt! You mustn’t bully him like this again, do you understand?”

An Yiqi, whether he understood or not, only grinned widely at An Jing.
