COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“Besides, don’t forget I am a genius!” Her voice is now quite emotional.

Katsuragi-san was speechless after hearing this.

The monster Koenji cast a huge shadow on him, and this time in uninhabited island exam, it was he who won the first place, and Katsuragi himself was also in the seed team, but when he really took exam, he would feel more and more the gap between him and genius monster.

So class that wants to unite with Horikita is small, actually he just want to unite with Koenji Rokusuke.

Bastard actually abstained. Katsuragi didn’t notice this.

“• •” Look in direction of Horikita.

“Ah, the rewards are so rich!”

“I want to participate, but I think I may not be able to solve questions!”

“The consolation prize is only 5,000 points, so I’d better not participate.”

“....” Several students in Horikita’s class were still facing a formidable enemy.

Katsuragi didn’t have words left to describe behaviour of such people.

They don’t even know that they can scan code and take a photo of question with mobile phone to find a top student to solve it.

There is indeed no value in uniting, and it is impossible to arrange or ensure their actions in such a short time.

But Horikita’s class wasn’t completely in tatters.

There are also groups that still want to work hard.

“I say, why don’t we stay and join in this treasure hunt together?” Haruka, a student with long blue hair, “I think it’s fun!”

She wants to enjoy! Fuck this exam!

“If you encounter a problem that you can’t solve, you can call me over.” Yukimura said at this time.

It was only at this time Yukimura’s remedial class group discovered this method could be used.

“Okay then. I’ll join in,” Sato wants free cookies here.

“Will Airi join us?” Haruka looked at Sakura, who was still dressed in a rustic way.

“Ah... Yeah,” She responded but didn’t look up.

“What’s wrong, Airi?” Her blue hair girl noticed that Sakura was always looking at her phone.

“Kushida-san asked me if I want to team up with them. She and Karuizawa-san have already teamed up with Horikita-san.”

Boom!

“Really? What a promotion for Airi!”

“But they seem to want to attract enough people, so that everyone can scan QR code to get the questions, and then let Horikita-san, Wang Meiyu-san, and Hirata-kun answer them.....” She gave her own views of not wanting people to feel jealous.

Huh? Haruka blinked softly. ’It turns out that Horikita-san and others have already thought about doing. This is what I just thought of. If Yukimu, a top student, can help answer the question, then even a poor student like me would dare to scan the four QR codes.’

“Then join, Airi!” She said immediately. ’Because Hikigaya-kun has left the class, although some students don’t feel much about it, my feelings are very deep. As soon as he arrived at Ryuen-kun’s class, they added 525 points to evaluation score. Hey, hey, hey, do you want to do this This is scary, okay?!’

So, Haruka felt like... the class had lost a great leader. ’So what should I do if I stayed in class? In other words, there are special exams every month, and it feels like there’s no one in charge afterward! Now, it is more reliable to gather the team and form a large group now!’

“Ding ding!”

“The half-hour selection period is up. Registration is now closed.”

“Next, McDonald’s, the open-air theater, and library will be blocked, and only students who have participated in treasure hunt game will be allowed to enter.”

The female teacher of Class A, Grade 1, picked up loudspeaker again.

The treasure hunt game, battle of questions among geniuses, now begins.

The test starts at 10 o’clock and lasts for 3 hours.

The personal points obtained during examination will be directly entered into students’ ID cards through the school system, while extra points obtained in written examination will be directly displayed on OAA.

It is also unchangeable.

As for class evaluation scores obtained, they will be reviewed and updated by school.

There is no need to regroup or announce the final results after exam time is over.

It’s very easy.

Rather than being a special test, this treasure hunt felt more like an extra reward since there were almost no penalties.

So it is probably a situation where as long as you participate, you will not lose big money.

Some people also think that it would be a loss if they cannot solve problem and then fail to get the reward.

Hachiman said this because he discovered that five or six students from Suzune’s class chose to give up.

However, there is also a little comfort, because although he left the class, students like Suzune who stayed behind are also trying hard to cope with it.

Hachiman saw they were slowly gathering some students in class who were willing to cooperate.

Then a group of about ten people was formed.

In fact, best plan is to use 26-member group that Hachiman deliberately put together when class voted for the withdrawal exam.

Joining a large group will give you a chance to prepare and cope with whatever exam you face.

However, most of students in the large group are reliable.

Then you may not get much money by cooperating with.

Because they also have some advantages. So they are no longer a rare commodity.

In other words, this combination shows that Suzune and others want to make as much money as possible in this exam.

And this is why Hachiman did not take initiative to participate.

Since you have eaten the meat, you should let others have some soup.

So he can’t just assign tasks to Suzune, because as a result, she has no part in any money-making plans due to her own hard work.

So how will she graduate? Will she really go with a debt of 16 million?

This is too cruel.

Of course, a big reason for this is that Hikigaya-kun discovered rewards included extra points related to the written test, and number of poor students in Ryuen’s class was also outrageous.

So in order to make a balanced arrangement, he has to find a way out for the poor students in class.

Even if he doesn’t get into debt in the end, can only make 1 or 2 million.

So, Hikigaya-kun doesn’t have much motivation.

“Then, exam begins.”

Standing at the door of the open-air theater, with announcement of a teacher, door of theater was immediately pushed open, and then a large number of students poured in.

This time exam was conducted in three locations: an open-air theater, McDonald’s, and a library.

A total of 417 students participated, and themselves knew that couldn’t all be put in same place.

So choose different starting points.

Hachiman and his friends chose the open-air theater.

The reason is quite direct.

It occupies the largest area and can accommodate more number of students, so school may have taken this into consideration and posted a lot of QR codes in this area.

Many stickers are found.

Because there were several QR codes at the entrance, area was crowded with people and very chaotic.

As if a swarm of locusts from Jurassic World were passing through a territory, everyone began to investigate at an astonishing speed.

Because QR code is not just posted on very conspicuous seats, it can also be on side of the chair or on wall.

It needs careful observation.

As soon as they found QR code, students immediately picked up their tablets and started scanning it.

The scene was quite lively.

“What a terrifying number,” Hikigaya sighed heavily after trying to breathe.

There were probably more than 300 students crowded into theater area, many of them familiar but new ones.

Ryuen’s and Ichinose’s class joined forces, and then her selected 13 top students, while boy arranged Kaneda and Shiina, making a total of 15 top students in group.

Specifically responsible for answering questions.

Ryuen selected four students to do intermediary business.

Therefore, remaining 60 were responsible for finding QR code and scanning it, forwarding question to the corresponding group of top students, answering them, and finally confirming the reward, whether to receive it.

“I have scanned a QR code,” And below the theater, a blue idiot... no, a girl with short blue hair raised her head and spoke to Hachiman.

This is Ibuki-san.

Considering that QR code might be difficult to find, or that even if found would have to find a way to keep it, so divided into groups of two.

Before on uninhabited island, Hachiman and Ibuki were a group, and they are still a pair now.

Hachiman looked over and saw Ibuki scanning a QR code, then took a picture of question displayed on the tablet with her mobile phone and forwarded it directly to group of top students.

From this perspective. Ibuki-san is really proactive.

So, Hachiman also started scanning.

He was lucky. Just as he started looking, found a QR code on armrest of the chair next to him.

“Drop!”

[Math final question, +5 Extra marks]

Last difficult math problem. What the devil is this.

Hikigaya-kun then hurriedly took out his cell phone and took a photo.

[Send picture to 4 members of Think tank group?]

Yes!

[Are you sure? Don’t you want this reward very much, Hikigaya-kun?]

“.....”

After sending picture to the newly created chat group on his phone, Hikigaya-kun continued to check the area, ignoring these prompts.

Because this is back row of theater, and places that look like there might be a lot of QR codes posted, there are already a bunch of students crowded there, so it is really not suitable to go.

But there shouldn’t be only one QR code.
