COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Don’t tell anyone else what you just heard and saw,” Kanzaki said as he kicked away the sand blocking the road ahead, ”Some things are not for us students to get involved in.”

”Hmm...” Shibata nodded vigorously.

What happened in front of him really scared him to death.

It can be said that if Kanzaki had not appeared, he didn’t know how he would be treated.

Kanzaki-kun’s family background seems to be very unusual, but he doesn’t seem to show it usually.

But now is not the time to ask.

Shibata thought to himself.

Just remember that Kanzaki-kun is a reliable and trustworthy person.

That’s enough.

”My father used to invest in some projects,” Kanzaki took the initiative to inform Shibata, ’And I just found out about this organization by chance.”

He probably understood what had just happened.

Shibata must have come to bathroom and heard Tsukishiro and others’ conspiracy.

The main target of should be Ayanokoji.

Even though he was ordered to keep his mouth shut, for an optimistic and stubborn person like Shibata, if he didn’t speak out clearly, other party would probably keep it to himself.

”Is that so... um... that...” Shibata hesitated, but still chose to tell Kanzaki information he knew first.

He informed other teacher that he was planning to kidnap Ayanokoji and take him away.

”Oh, that should be fine then. Because Ayanokoji gave up.”

Huh?

Shibata then remembered that they actually wanted to team up with Ayanokoji, but...had already given up, and might have already returned to the ship.

So he was not on the island, so how could he be knocked unconscious and taken away from island?

Kiyotaka did return to the ship.

He was walking to deck railing with a glass of juice that he had received for free from bar.

Looking at sea below the ship, and then at seagulls in the distance, they probably noticed people were people and flew over to eat some French fries.

Too bad Kiyotaka had no fries for the seagulls, it made him sad.

”You are so calm,” Tsukishiro, dressed in a white suit, walked over.

”After all, since you don’t take the normal path this time, I can’t fight back against you usually either.”

”hehe--” Tsukishiro remained polite and elegant.

In fact, if he hadn’t been tipped off, he would have almost been deceived by Ayanokoji this time.

The opponent suddenly showed his strength in two and a half days.

Tsukishiro thought he wanted to compete for the first place. There is a reward for 1st place in total score.

400 class evaluation points + 1 million personal points + one exemption from expulsion.

As a result, other party retreated at the height of his career.

Tsukishiro soon discovered this wave of scoring was to ensure that no matter how many points were deducted after giving up, he would not fall into last few groups.

And now, Kanzaki has already left with Shibata, Tsukishiro informed Shiba that he had received the news that Ayanokoji had given up.

Then obviously Shiba and his good for nothing best girl, Yagami returned to the ship in a bad mood.

Because this would mean violent plan had failed. Have to find next opportunity.

From this position, you can see Yagami is also on deck of the ship.

Tsukishiro noticed that he was at the bar, although he had his back to them and was not looking here.

But Tsukishiro shook his head.

He felt that he could sense Yagami’s obsession with Ayanokoji, and this kind of feeling could easily bring him down.

However, looking at it this way, plan to expel Ayanokoji this month also failed.

So, you can spend this month peacefully. Because he tried.

Then just wait for exams to be over. After, students will have a week-long enjoyment on ship.

As a faculty member, he can also relax.

Tsukishiro felt that he hadn’t felt his work was going so smoothly for a long time.

So he just looked at the blue sky quietly, was in a surprisingly good mood.

10th Day of uninhabited island exam is over.

Almost all the students noticed that Ayanokoji, who was charging ahead, had actually given up.

Rankings have also changed.

Hachiman noticed Isshiki’s group. She was originally a team of three, but one of her two companions was bitten by a snake, and other one was playing badly, while Isshiki was still being excluded by almost entire class.

Therefore, Hachiman’s suggestion was to let her hold on to a thigh and take her flying.

Show your strength to your classmates.

This school puts strength first, so they can completely form a new small team based on her performance.

Now, she is scoring at a steady rate of 40 to 50 points every day. Little by little, has climbed to the 14th place.

There are still 3 and a half days of exams to come.

If you can get another 60 points, can get into top ten. So, Isshiki Iroha was full of energy.

As for the one who took her flying, it was Ichika-desu.

Hachiman also asked Yukinoshita whether she accepted this arrangement.

Obviously, Amasawa and she are in the same group, but former is now with Isshiki, which allows her to get so many points.

So it is actually possible to get so many points simply by bringing Yukinoshita with her.

Girl’s physical fitness is not good...then you can let Amasawa carry her on back or in her arms.

In fact, Isshiki’s physical fitness is okay, but she definitely can’t hold on for that long, so most of the time she really relies on Amasawa to carry her in her arms or on her back.

This made Isshiki feel that Amasawa was truly a strong person... Oh no, she was her Superman!

Ichika is about the same height as her and looks very slender, so how could you display such strong explosive power?

However, reply was simply, it’s natural. It looks very OP.

This made Isshiki feel that other party was not telling the truth, but Hikigaya-senpai knew very well it was indeed natural, because this was a little genius who would not lose to Sakayanagi.

At that time, Yukinoshita answered like this.

”The top three places have already been taken by seniors. Even if Amasawa-san leads me, there is no way I can get a meaningful ranking. So why not arrange for her to do other things she can do. Although she seems easy to get along with, but actually doesn’t have many friends. And if you have common experiences, it will be easier to become friends ”

From this angle, it seems that Yukinoshita-san just looks cold, but she is actually a nice person.

But you are not suitable to say these things at all!

The time came to eleventh and twelfth day of exam.

Everything seems to be moving in the right direction.

Ryuen and his team’s endurance plan has worked. They have maintained a certain level of physical strength and scored steadily.

Now, without any interference from other cheaters, have risen to the second place.

However, there is one point that needs attention.

That was Hosen Kazuomi, actually fulfilling promise he made to his class.

Trying hard to get points.

He is a physical monster, and his academic ability is not bad either.

Therefore, current ranking cannot be underestimated, as it has reached fourth place.

What is a bit regrettable is that originally 426 students were supposed to take exam together.

But on the evening of twelfth day, when Hachiman and his friends finished their meal at 8 o’clock in the evening and checked rankings, they found that only 266 students were still persisting.

However, some students who gave up also calculated carefully and found their scores were enough to be deducted and would not become 0 points.

In other words, no matter how dumb a student is, he or she will not get a score of 0.

The 13th day of uninhabited island exam.

”Drop!”

”Score +1!”

”Score +1!”

”An additional 5 points will be awarded to the team.”

Hachiman and Ibuki checked in and earned points in first designated area.

”Our exam ends here,” Hachiman said to Ibuki. It is now 13th and a very cloudy day.

There is no confirmation whether it will rain tonight or tomorrow morning.

So, Hikigaya-kun decided to temporarily stop the exam here.

Their ranking is 25th. ’At least I can do justice to Shinohara, Komiya and others. If you don’t get into Top three, then reward for 30th place is already a good one.’

A group can get a total of 5+1 private points totaling 60,000.

If divided equally, each person can get 15,000.

”.....” As expected, Hikigaya-kun found this kind of points uninteresting.

”Then let’s go back to starting point,” Ibuki had been sleeping outdoors with Hikigaya-kun these past few days, and her physical fitness was already pretty good, but she soon discovered that gap between her and the boys was too big.

Or maybe Hikigaya’s endurance is just too good.

So, when Hikigaya-kun chose to end the exam early, which was also a convenient place for her.

”Are you guys done with it so soon?”

Hashimoto, who had just come over to earn a point, but someone took initiative to talk to him.

Princess Sakayanagi’s group.

Because girl herself is not feeling well, she usually relies on Hashimoto or Kamuro-san to punch in and get points, as well as do homework.

Main fighting force.

Ryuen and his team have already climbed to second place, which should be what everyone expected.

In this exam, Class A of Grade 2 made sure that no one fell behind, and because convenience store made a lot of money, Ryuen and the others could get second place.

Class A could also get an additional 225 points evaluation score reward.

It is already great value for money, couldn’t be more stable.

”That’s about right. After all, my goal for this exam is not to get a certain ranking or a certain score.”

Isn’t goal of an exam to score points?

As a smart person, Hashimoto had secretly calculated plan for this exam.

Collect Hitchhiking prop cards to add additional cards.

The group that bets on Koenji can get 2.12 million private points after betting on one set.

Hello, hello, hello.

One set costs 2 million.

You know, last year he started selling out his class for 1 million, but Hikigaya could earn 2 million so easily!

Comparing yourself with others is really annoying.

However, Hashimoto-kun was too embarrassed to mention this matter.

But what can be confirmed is that through his social network, he learned about students in lower grades, students in same grade, and in higher grades, many of this set of prop cards are gathered in a certain class.

In other words, if Hikigaya controls all these prop cards... then benefits will be great.

It’s simply heartless.

”Hashimoto, your luck with girls seems to have gotten worse recently.” Hikigaya-kun suddenly destroyed his mood once again.

”......Uh.” These words made handsome guy Hashimoto stutter.

Then he stared at Hikigaya with a somewhat resentful look.

Because it was Hikigaya who made him have fantasies that he shouldn’t dream of!

At first, he just wanted to graduate from Class A and start a sunny, beautiful and easy life in the future.

But Hikigaya told him, why should I work so hard? Wouldn’t it be easier to find someone to support me?

He confessed his love to a girl in the same class, hoping that she would date him, would be responsible for marry and support him.

Of course, Hashimoto would be a househusband in the future.

Then it was rejected, a bonus of getting painfully kicked in the nuts was also experienced.

It made Hashimoto to curse his life.

The other party is a student from Class A and has his own pride.

So, Hashimoto also tried to contact students from other classes. As a handsome guy, he also has some fans.

Girls who usually thought he was a decent and handsome guy, all ran away when they heard that they would only date him with the intention of getting married and he would be a househusband in the future.

Then, he was reported to Student council president, Princess Sakayanagi, for harassment.

???

Hashimoto had just been warned this morning not to embarrass the class, by girl none other Sakayanagi Arisu.

”....”

”Well,” Hashimoto quickly changed the subject feeling even more enraged, ”So what do you think, Hikigaya? You want to be a househusband. You actually have a goal. For example, Kamuro-san, although I used to think that she always looked at people with disdain, she actually has a good personality, and has a close relationship with the little princess Sakayanagi, so if I can get close to Kamuro-san, I can also get the favor of little princess in disguise.....But I am also self-aware, Kamuro-san hates my guts. But she’s nice to you, isn’t she? Also, Horikita Suzune is one of the good candidates, right? Her brother is former student council president. Even though her achievements are not high, her brother is really good.”

It’s not that Hashimoto-kun have Sakura’s intuition, but knows a lot to run his mouth.

They are all wrong.

Hachiman’s face turned ugly.
