COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Hachiman took out his tablet and opened the map. The most dangerous areas are H10-H9.

The diameter of a zone is only one thousand meters.

It is still quite dangerous for people who want to escape from White Room. Therefore, it has to span at least three areas.

According to Sakura’s instructions, Amasawa should be between H6 and I6. In map, those two areas are forests. So, climbing a tree might be a good hiding area.

”Thank you, Sakura.” Hachiman said sincerely.

“Well, am I useful?” Sakura seemed not to be sure of herself, even though she had god-given talents.

”I think so.” Hachiman then said to Ibuki, “Then you help others pack up and go to the starting point. If we’re lucky, we’ll be able to pick up Amasawa in the evening. Then see if we should go back to starting point overnight.”

Although it is said so simply, the situation is actually not good.

Because once there is thunder and lightning, or heavy rain, area where Amasawa is hiding is in the tree, and that is when real danger will arise.

Because lightning specifically strikes trees.

Hachiman didn’t have time to wait for Suzune’s team to deal with the tents, and he took her and Kamuro-san to the H6 and I6 areas.

Three hours later.

At this time, finally arrived at the H6 area, one of their targets.

Since they had been traveling all the time, now arrived at their destination, people relaxed a little.

’Start hydrating. I also ate some of the dried meat that was used as basic supplies to replenish my energy.’

“Thanks,” Suzune also took the small bag of jerky handed over by Hikigaya.

“But it’s a little too hard....”

“If it’s just pure jerky, it’s not difficult to make. I’ll try to cook some when I return to school,” This was how Suzune reasoned.

“Thank you for your hard work then.” Hikigaya still believed in Horikita’s craftsmanship of making good food.

And he also knew that it was useless to respond politely or courteously to Horikita-san, as this girl had no idea about the ways of the world.

“…..” At this moment, Kamuro-san feels as if she has become unnecessary, “So how do we find Amasawa Ichika now?”

She then broke up the conversation between two lovebirds. ’I was originally thinking that you are doomed, Sakayanagi, as Hikigaya seems to be in love with Horikita, but now I feel that...it doesn’t seem like a romantic relationship....If I had to describe this, it would be like family. So there shouldn’t be any problem with Sakayanagi....’

“If we simply shout looking for someone, we can’t be sure whether the teacher who is chasing her is nearby. If he is, we will all be in danger....” Probably because Kamuro-san is in a good mood, her brain has started to work.

“Well... this is indeed a problem.” Hachiman nodded, “Then let’s make a fire here.”

”To make a fire?”

“Yes. Shouting loudly might attract the attention of more than just Amasawa. It might also attract the perpetrator. And if there is a fire, there will be smoke. To the perpetrators, Amasawa is their genius after all, so they don’t think she would be so stupid as to show any signs. On the contrary, it might be Amasawa. Since she destroyed the intercom I gave her, she must have known my personality that I would come looking for her. So there is a high probability that she will approach us actively after seeing the smoke.”

“This is way too complicated. So according to what you said, this Amasawa is actually quite amazing? She is overestimated by the abuser. And you even used the term genius. Is this how people on your level think?” Suzune felt like she couldn’t keep up, even turned to look at Kamuro-san but girl didn’t show any expression, as if she was used to it.

“About the same. I think she might be a little weaker than Sakayanagi, or a genius on her level.”

“.....” Suzune

“.....” Kamuro-san. ’Don’t say things like that to my face, especially in front of people from other classes!’

And to Horikita, is the injured person called Amasawa Ichika? According to her records of all students in the school, Kouhai is a student of Class 1-A.

In last month’s partner exam, Amasawa Ichika was Hikigaya Hachiman’s written test partner.

Then, got full marks in exam.

Before this exam, she joined the student council and, like Karuizawa, was a member of Disciplinary committee.

So at that moment Suzune wondered if this junior Amasawa was also recommended by Hikigaya. ’Then she is his tool. And now it seems that girl is indeed his perfect tool.....’

“Crackle.”

Although she had doubts about what happened to Hikigaya and Amasawa, or rather, she was not told much, Suzune still honestly collected the materials suitable for making a fire.

Three started to work.

Considering there is also a batch of fresh ingredients in backpack.

So Hachiman just cooked a instant noodle hot pot.

“Hikigaya, your cooking skills are pretty good,” And Kamuro-san changed her opinion of him. ’Today, I followed him and slept in the open air, trying my best to travel. When I was hungry, I just drank water, ate compressed biscuits and a few slices of dried meat. As a result, now there is also Sukiyaki to eat.’

“It’s not just for you to eat. I think Amasawa needs some hot drinks now.”

“• ! ×” Kamuro-san won’t give you praise again, “Could it be that the other party has already come here?” She looked at him curiously.

But no one was found.

“I think—” Of course, Hachiman just said it casually, because he thought that what he said just now was to lure Ichika over, but there is another possibility, that is, she might be nearby.

So if the other party is nearby, you can give her a way out. Let her show up on her own.

Otherwise, if she was really nearby and heard their conversation, would be too embarrassed to show up for a while.

“I give up, Hikigaya-senpai” At this moment, a sound suddenly came from the tall tree, and everyone hurriedly looked up.

They saw a cute girl with purple twin ponytails, holding her right arm with her left hand, sitting against a tree branch.

The mental state is not very good.

“• ! •” Is it really on this tree?

Hachiman then stepped aside, allowing other party to quickly climb down from....

xxxxx

“Crackling.”

At this time, now four people surrounding a small Sukiyaki pot.

“Don’t move yet,” Hachiman took out Chabashira’s cell phone and took a picture of the right arm that Amasawa was holding down.

There was a long bruise on her right arm, probably from being hit hard.

And judging from the fact that she can only hold it up with one hand, she might have broken a bone.

“If that’s all, maybe it’s not enough. If you want to back it up, please make an extra copy for me.” Amasawa took out a camera from the small backpack she carried with her.

This was a camera that she had specially taken from President Sakayanagi when she was assigned by Hikigaya-senpai to defend against Takuya Yagami.

The number of supply points required for a camera is 20,000 points.

Only President Sakayanagi is so wealthy, is still very generous because she knows that Amasawa is working for Hikigaya.

And this equipment immediately became an important thing for Ichika.

This was also one of the reasons why she chose to rebel against instructor.

Camera clicks on.

It’s a picture.

[You mean to say that on last day of exam, this area will become a memorial for Ayanokoji-senpai to become a dropout.] by Ichika.

[I don’t have that much time to play with the kids. So, since I’ve been assigned the task of expelling Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, I have to complete it quickly. You lead Ayanokoji here. Leave the rest to me. I’ll force him to voluntarily drop out of school.]

by Shiba.

[But, I cannot agree to this. Yagami’s actions have caused the evaluation of us White Room students to drop, but if I also fail, then our kind will be a joke. So I cannot make a move.]

[What do you mean? Are you trying to disobey orders?] by Shiba-sensei.

Then comes battle scene. Ichika’s skills are indeed amazing.

Horikita also practiced martial arts and felt that her skills were pretty good, and Kamuro-san also felt that she was good enough to protect Hikigaya, but now...their strength was like that of children in front of them.

”This is a video!” Kamuro-san reacted instantly. ’Then I felt this junior was indeed quite good. Because it seems that she was passively called over to assist in helping to drop Ayanokoji out of school, but she was able to take this video, which means that you predicted other party’s future!’

“The person who attacked me is the head teacher of Class D in first grade. He was also my former instructor, and even tried to teach us Ninjutsu. I definitely can’t beat him. He has strong fighting power and explosive power, but his brain is relatively straightforward. So this is one of my plans to protect myself. And I think Hikigaya-senpai will make good use of this video,” Having said this, she remained quiet.

Hachiman picked up Chabashira-sensei’s phone, opened the camera, and started taking pictures.

Recorded the video of Amasawa.

He also knew how much this girl longed for freedom. Since she could do this, as a senior, he could also help to add fuel to the fire.
