COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

After students received their cell phones, began to enjoy their lives in a vengeful manner, but there was still one teacher who stayed on deck.

Because in this era where people cannot survive without mobile phones, there are actually people who can live without them.

“Yukinoshita, Amasawa didn’t come, you should take her cell phone back with you.”

”Me?” But Yukino was a little surprised, why are you looking at her with such a hopeful gaze?

”Is it inconvenient?”

“That’s not what I meant. She was in the same cabin as me, but I haven’t seen her since I returned.”

“Is that so? Then just give it to her when you see her.”

“Actually, I didn’t see her today either.”

“.....” Teacher. ’Isn’t Amasawa on the ship? Do I need to order guards just in case....something goes wrong’, “I will alert the people. She wouldn’t jump off ship, right?”

“What? No wa.....” Suddenly, Yukino felt like wasn’t that sure anymore, so only stand helpless.

“• ? •” Hachiman was originally planning to go back to cabin with Ryuen and others to collect all points.

’But now I’d better compose a text message.....’

Hachiman took out his phone and sent a message to Tsukishiro, regarding whereabouts of Ichika.

In fact other party seemed to be looking at his phone and replied immediately.

[I didn’t imprison her. As the word means, I have given her freedom. She is now a free person. But Hikigaya-kun, don’t you think you went a little too far in this exam? According to rules, all three grades on ship must have another exam. Only, because of you, budget for this part is gone!] by Tsukishiro.

This is probably reason why Chabashira-sensei’s expression just now showed that she was ”unsure whether there will be an exam.”

The budget was drained.

“I’m busy right now. If you have other things to do, can you wait until I get results of this exam?”

by Hikigaya Hachiman.

[……] by Tsukishiro.

At this moment, Chairman, looked at the blue sky outside window, and his heart was filled with bloody tears.

After receiving news that Amasawa was fine, Hachiman left deck.

Although teacher did not meet her today, would not meet everyone even if he met students on the ship.

The fact that she didn’t pick up her phone just now probably means that Amasawa was doing other things.

For example, when he was having a massage just now, Hachiman was thinking that if he got a notification on radio to pick up his phone at that time, wouldn’t he be unable to get his phone?

So, maybe girl also has her own things to do. With this thought in mind, Hachiman returned to his cabin.

In this school, you can buy anything by using points.

Normally students need to share a cabin with 2-3 people, but for a few points you can enjoy a single room.

Hachiman wasn’t used to living with others, so he thought money was worth spending.

“Boom!”

Returned to his room.

He is not here alone now.

“Well, please sit down first.”

There are sofas and a small table in Hachiman’s cabin, and Ryuen’s small team consists of a few members, including the cute Shiina Hiyori with straight silver hair, and Ibuki, who pouts slightly and shows a slightly nervous expression.

As well as Ryuen himself, Albert, Ishizaki Daichi, and Kaneda-kun who still had a little bruise on his face.

Except for Hiyori, everyone was a little tanned. But it doesn’t matter.

Because does appearance have anything to do with what you are going to do now?

After bringing everyone from D to the cabin, Hachiman opened curtains, but he vaguely remembered they were open when he went to take exam.

Who closed it?

Hachiman glanced at bed and saw that quilt was not folded, but was opened and rolled up into a ball. ’Is my quilt placed like this? I can’t quite remember it. After all, that was where I lived fourteen days ago.’

Besides, now is important.

“I won’t say much, Let’s get started now.”

They have only one goal in this exam, and that is to make a big splash.

The method is very simple. When rules of the exam were announced, neither Hachiman nor Ryuen were interested.

However, as soon as prop card came out, Hikigaya-kun saw business opportunities in it.

Flexible use of prop cards to defraud from this exam... No, it is to obtain personal points legitimately.

[Hitchhiking Card: Bet on a group before the test. If a group gets private points, you can get half of the points earned by group.]

[Additional card: Double points reward]

Then Lead card... Oh, I don’t think much. It has already been sacrificed for Sakayanagi’s play this time.]

“Then I’ll tell you.” Hiyori is now standing next to Hikigaya-kun, holding a small notebook, just like a proper secretary.

“The first grade received a total of 30 sets of Hitchhiking prop cards. 2nd grade received 25 sets, and 3rd grade received 33 sets.”

“There are 3 Hitchhiking prop cards that cannot be matched. So that’s a total of 88 sets of Hitchhiking + additional packages.”

These are all known answers, others were waiting for her to speak more so Hiyori trembling with excitement, also blurted out everything she knew, “Koenji-kun and Albert-kun have additional cards. As the first place winners, they can get a total of 2 million private points, and top 50% and 70% will get additional points, so they can get another 120,000 points.”

“Students who place regular bets also have a prop card, so they can get half, which is 1.06 million. But they also have an additional card, so a full bet can get 106X2=2.12 million.”

“Then total gain from this bet is 88X212+3X106=189.74 million.”

189.74 million, actually there is another way to read it.

That is 189,740,000!

How horrible! It’s so terrifying!

When this number came out, almost everyone at scene took a deep breath.

Staring at each other, no one spoke.

“Then let’s start collecting money,” Hikigaya-san was the one breaking tension, realising people were shaking.

It’s redundant to say more before you get the money.

Because each person can only have one set of prop cards, they arranged for the students in Grade 1 Class D to be carriers of prop cards.

Then for second grade, Class 2-D.

As for 3rd grade, Asahina was assigned, and in the end, information of 33 students from her own and D was obtained.

After all, there are only 21 students in Class A of Grade 3, and she got 33 sets of prop cards, so there are not enough students in her class.

In order to collect the points in time, Hikigaya-kun arranged for Ryuen’s group to insert themselves into first-year students who were responsible for being carriers of the prop cards.

One person is responsible for several students.

And a small group was created, where you can directly prompt to transfer money. The list is also there, it is not complicated.

However, as for third years, he arranged for Asahina to be in charge, so he did not send anyone in.

Seems most unreliable.

Because of Nagumo’s departure, Kushida’s social network has expanded again, and she has come into contact with Asahina and her classmates, who she had been unable to get inside before, and has obtained some information.

For example.

Nagumo Miyabi’s rule was very cruel.

Students were not allowed to have more than 500,000 private points.

If they exceeded 500,000, they had to hand it over to him.

Then his class A had to pay him 30% of the living expenses sent by school every month.

In other words, for an average 3rd-year student, they have never seen 300,000, let alone 500,000.

Now, suddenly, a minimum of 1.06 million and a maximum of 2.12 mill. points are credited to their account. It is hard to ensure people will not be tempted.

Therefore, money must be collected before they react.

If something goes wrong, we will deal with it later.

The class that collected the fastest amount of data was not actually Ryuen’s own class.

It’s Class 3A.

“The points received a total of 69.96 million private points.”

“It has been transferred to your account. But it’s only 1 point. The amount is too large and I’m worried about making a mistake. I will continue to transfer it after you confirm that you have received 1 point.”

Asahina sent the message first.

Hachiman replied to her private message, and soon, 69.96 million personal points were credited to his account!

Breathed a sigh of relief.

Hiyori, Ryuen and others are also sharing first-year students data.

In order to prevent too much data from being wrong, 25 students in Ryuen’s class were not carriers of the prop cards.

Instead, Hiyori was arranged to collect money for 25 sets of prop cards from second-year D class.

After all, she is a student of Ryuen’s class, gotta work hard! Very fast too.

“The 53 million for our class has arrived,” Hiyori’s soft voice directly scared people’s hearts in the room!

Deep! Breath!

Inhale! Exhale!

“So…..” Ryuen also continued to collect points from 1st-year students.

Very quickly.

“33 students in first-year D class have collected their papers. One of them just went to opera house, but he has already handed it in.”

There is actually no resistance to first-year students’ money.

Because Hosen dropped out of school.

This is good news for Class D. Ordinary students are afraid of violence, so it is best for bad guys like Hosen to leave.

But it’s also a deterrent.

Since Hosen really got expelled from school like this, does that mean they will also be expelled if don’t do things well or violate the rules?

So, do you really dare to violate rules with your seniors at this time?

In this way, influence of Hosen has remained. Then, money was collected quickly.

Everyone will scan the money they receive onto different point cards on table in several installments.

This is to prevent confusion as points are transferred back and forth.

The reason why it has to be divided into several times is because limit of a point card is 20 million.

Or maybe school doesn’t think students can save so much money at all.

After all, before this class, there had never been a student in the school who had collected 20 million yen.

Although there was one person, he was expelled for illegal fraud.

“....Then calculate it again!” Hiyori continued to hold the small notebook tightly in her arms, as if it was something very precious even so more than herself!

“The total income from prop cards in this exam is 189.74 million. Before the exams started, we received 19.8 million in protection money for arranging 1st-year class D to be at the bottom.”

“In the deal with Class A for the item card, they wanted to give us 3 million points, and we’ve already received this amount. Kamuro-san transferred it to me.”

“Albert-kun’s reward of 1.06 million has been received, of which 60,000 has been returned to him.”

“The 2 million points for setting up a trap to expel Hosen from school, original first-year C class, which is Utomiya’s, have been transferred, but 500,000 points were given to Kaneda-kun as medical expenses. So +1.5 million.”

“Then five students from 1st-year D class all chose to drop out. They wanted 2 million in cash, but there was a ratio with school points converted into cash, so the cost was 12.5 million.”

“Among them, expenses for arranging first-year students to collect prop cards and arranging people to serve as carriers totaled 3.7 million.”

“Then second-year students, which is our class, spent a total of 3.05 million.”

“Third-year student Asahina-senpai has completed 33 sets of item cards. The total cost of one set given to her is 200,000, so 6.6 million.”

“Then I purchased Trial Cards and some other auxiliary prop cards this time, and total expenditure was 1.4 million.”

“The final payment was 10 million yen to Koenji Rokusuke.”

“So according to this statistic——”

Although there were a lot of bills to calculate, Hiyori didn’t find it troublesome at all and was even in a good mood.

Or maybe that’s what everyone in room is feeling right now.

　1980+18974+300+100+150-1250-370-305-660-140-1000=177.79 million.

“Net income: 177.79 million!”

“Hikigaya-kun got 177.79 million x 0.7 = 124.453 million.”

“Ryuen-kun received 35,558,000.”

“Ibuki-san, Kaneda-kun, Ishizaki-kun, Albert-kun, and I can each sweep away 3,555,800 personal points from the point card,” Hiyori said with a beautiful genuine smile on her face.

However, impact is huge.

“There are actually 3.55 million!!” Ibuki was shocked. Because she feels.....

But with exception of people like Ibuki who are easy to feed and fool, Hikigaya-kun is very realistic.

He took away 6 point cards directly. One ticket costs 20 million, and 6 tickets cost 120 million.

However, he did not plan to put it directly into his personal points account.

After all, the points card was like an extra account that could be used at any time without transaction being checked, very convenient.

So he picked up six point cards and put them in his shirt pocket.

Boom! Stare~

People watched his thief like actions but said nothing, in fact it’s not just him, everyone wanted to do the same.

Then take seventh point card.

“Drop!”

“The card limit is 20 million. You have withdrawn 4.453, and current balance is 15.547 million!”

A notification popped up on phone.

“Sweep another 12 million. Then I won’t owe you any money.”

“Okay,” Hachiman didn’t hesitate.

Ryuen borrowed his money to buy him over, 12 million!

So Hachiman naturally walked to drawer, found a file bag, and then took out an agreement.

He handed it to Ryuen.

[Ryuen Kakeru borrowed 12 million personal points from Hikigaya Hachiman and will pay it back within four months.]

“.....” Ryuen was speechless. ’This fucker must have been thinking about the money I owed, as he even carried IOU with him. Tsk!’

However, Ryuen took IOU and checked it carefully several times. After confirming that it was correct, he tore it up directly.

Shred! Torn!

Then Ryuen picked up a new point card and began to scan share he could get.

The money spent on buying Hikigaya offset it. Kuku~

23.558 million!

20 million can exempt you from expulsion, and you can also go directly to the class you want, so you can transfer directly to A when you graduate.

Then no matter which Class A is at that time, you can ensure that you will graduate from A.

Ryuen’s life-saving talisman is now available. If he can make it to 3rd year without being expelled, then money can be used as a stepping stone to enter Class A, or it can be directly cashed in and taken back for future development, which is also a good plan.

With Hikigaya’s joining, he no longer has to spend his own money on the class.

That’s not all. He also obtained 20% of points over 500 in this exam.

So, Ryuen can earn an extra 120,000 yen every month without doing anything.
