COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Although wording is not elegant, this is a bright and unpolluted sky that is rarely seen in the city.

“Speaking of the moon—” Sakura said excitedly, looking deep in the night sky, “In some literary works, there are phrases that praise the moon to imply that person you are with is also beautiful... well, it’s like a confession.”

Hachiman fulfilled his promise to Sakura.

Accompany her to this place where she thinks single gods and bitch are forbidden to come.

Then looked at the stars and happily took some photos. Sakura was a little excited.

“Sakura is right. To be precise, it is derived from Natsume Soseki’s works. It is a way of expressing love.”

“So we can’t say here that moonlight is really beautiful.” On other side, a girl with straight black hair looked up at moon in the night sky and said coldy.

I should say that Horikita-san is still so straightforward.

In a place like this where couples would come, three of them stood out together, but she didn’t show any shyness or other emotions.

“I think so,” After all, three people here are not lovers.

Suddenly, Horikita brought up this embarrassing topic, so Sakura had no choice but to continue looking at the stars and taking pictures.

Because she felt like she had become a light bulb.

’Since last year, Horikita-san and Hikigaya-kun have had a very good relationship. Although has moved to a different class, he is still often seen going to her room. It was basically after school in afternoon, and they seemed to have dinner together. Doesn’t it mean that even though Hikigaya-kun has left class, the relationship is still maintained? So these two still are very good partners.....No wonder, I was bullied by her that day in the tent so roughly. Horikita-san must be feeling very jealous!’

So, Sakura immediately understood that because she was here, Horikita-san couldn’t confess her feelings to Hikigaya-kun, or vice versa. ’Ah, so, I really did something bad today?’

But there were also some couples looking in confusion.

“By the way, Hikigaya-kun, didn’t you come here with other girls yesterday?”

“Why do you have a new female companion today?”

Some couples also stay here for two consecutive days.

Then, noticed scene. Hikigaya-kun has changed his female again. This time he actually brought two at once!

“Shh! Don’t talk nonsense,” But the boy’s female quickly interrupted him with a glare, “What if you offend the other party? Besides, it’s normal for an outstanding boy to be favored by different girls.”

“Is that so?” The boy nodded with a frown, because he just found a real life walking Harem!

Hikigaya is also Vice president of the student council. He was also very responsible for injury of a student in his class before, and he commanded almost all the boys in grade to find the culprit.

Such people should not be slandered.

Or say. You can’t talk bad either.

As an ordinary student in Class D, he still has to thank Hikigaya-kun for bringing him a stable life.

Other side.

Mr. Tsukishiro also invited the first-year students to come out.

To be precise, the five students from Class D of first grade who ranked last in the exam were asked out.

“Um...Acting chairman...”

The five students looked at the smiling middle-aged man in front of them with some trepidation.

For some reason, feel like a smiling tiger.

“I think results of this exam have been announced, and you should be mentally prepared to drop out of school.”

“Yes, we are!”

That’s the spirit you guys are talking about.

Issei, who once opposed Hosen in class and whose academic ability was B- and thought it would be nice to take 2 million in cash back, breathed a sigh of relief.

“This ship is equipped with a helicopter. It will be back as early as tomorrow morning. When the time comes, you can take this plane back to school first.”

So that’s it. The five students didn’t have much objection.

’Although I feel a little regretful to leave early, after all, it is probably a very rare experience to be able to travel on such a luxury ship in this lifetime....And maybe I can brag about it when I get back. Now, it’s finally over like this. But being able to take away 2 million in cash is also pretty good.....’ The five students were not feeling very depressed.

But Tsukishiro continued with an uncle like smile who gives candy to naughty people, “Because your homeroom teacher arranged for Hosen to return to school to withdraw from school, the punishment of your expulsion has been delayed, so let’s start now. I will arrange for you to return to school tomorrow. Then each of you will receive 100,000 yen in cash as travel expenses, and you will also have to sign a confidentiality agreement, not to disclose any of the truth about this school’s rules.”

“All of these can be done, right?” Chairman seemed quite amiable.

It’s like this. The students had no objection to regulations.

“Then. Do you all have your cell phones now?”

“We brought it.”

“Then please hand in. Since the expulsion penalty has been issued, we can no longer give you your cell phones. They will be taken back, including amount of personal points in them.”

“Huh?”

Everyone was stunned.

“Say again……”

“I think I heard wrong, brother help me! Chairman is bullying us.”

“It’s alright, Daki. Don’t cry, I will ask him once more. Acting Chairman, this is different from what we agreed,” One of the students in Class D suddenly became a lot more threatening.

His body was very pale, even bones could be seen under his shirt.

Because everyone’s points are in the student ID card on their phone and have not yet been converted into cash.

So if it is collected now, doesn’t that mean... everyone will be cleared out and won’t get a penny and will be expelled from school?

This is different from what we agreed!

Moving forward towards Chairman with a dark look on his face.

“G-Generally speaking, after the school announces that a student has dropped out, withdrawal process must be completed within 2 hours, and student only has limited amount to saty. During this time, if you still have personal points in your student ID card, you can use it to purchase items, and the school will not prevent you from taking [your personal belongings] away. So this is a means of monetization. And the school will also collect points from 3rd-year students at a certain rate when they graduate, and settle the accounts with cash. But there is no such benefit for students who drop out. So most students choose to buy items and sell them outside. It’s just that now, more than a day has passed since exam results were announced yesterday. So, you have actually lost the opportunity to purchase items and sell.”

“Ahhhhhh!!!” a girl named, Daki now seemed to be crying even more loudly and dropping tears on the floor.

“How dare you? How dare you bully my sister?” This boy’s face was very ugly to look at, but now his actions of scratching his neck seemed to be engraving a deep fear in people’s heart.

“Hey, G-Gyutaro, man calm down!”

Children were sweating, because air suddenly became very thick and difficult to move. If not stopped, very bad things are going to happen.

“But I’m not an inhumane person!” Damn these siblings, even Tsukishiro felt like he couldn’t keep this face any longer.

“So what should we do?” Issei who just warned Gyutaro to call down, felt that situation had taken a turn for the better.

“I can make an exception and allow you to transfer the points to students you think are reliable before you hand in your phones. When they graduate from 3rd year, you can entrust them to redeem points for you. Finally, when they graduate, you can just pick them up at school gate once more.”

Ah this. It can be said that plan is feasible.

Make an exception and let them transfer points to reliable people, so they can be exchanged for cash in end.

Where can I find reliable people at a time like this? With graduation so far away, will other party really not spend the money? Or will they completely deny it?

So... should you look for Hikigaya-senpai? Because he arranged and directed this exam, also fulfilled his promise to give them points.

The reason to give points now is because you can’t go back to school for the time being......But now about to be expelled from school!

“Don’t we have any other choice?” Although Issei think Hikigaya-senpai is reliable, they are about to be kicked out, so won’t get any cash at all.

Besides, will all drop out of school by then, so they will be of no value.

You know, this is a school where strength is paramount.

How can you demand anything from others if you have no value?

“You’re quite smart,” Tsukishiro looked at boy named Issei while ignoring siblings who might just cause him to vomit on the floor looking at the contrast, “Actually, there is another plan. I specifically asked you to come here this time, instead of notifying you tomorrow when helicopter arrives, just to give you a chance. Have you ever thought about not dropping out?”

“Our school has always been short of students, and you are all that we have carefully selected. Now five people dropping out at once. This is a bit stressful for us.”

In other words, Chairman thinks they are very important?

Their academic ability is all above B-, and one is A-. In other words, maybe could stay and struggle?

“Also, one very important point is that although strengths of the four classes vary somewhat, number of outstanding students is similar. So if the five of you leave at once, first-year D class will be almost ruined. As an educator, this is what I don’t want to see. What I want to see is you growing through hard work.”

Fooling people with a nice smile.

Chairman of the board is considering the class battle’s perspective.

The other party is a senior member of the school, so naturally he is standing at a higher ground.

Random bots didn’t realize they were so important to system. Then, several first-year students looked at each other.

It was Daki who finally stopped crying, and then asked hopefully, “So, Chairman, if we agree to your request, what can we get?”

She wiped her eyes.

Oh no. These children. It seems that you have learned some rules.

“Submit the application for exemption from expulsion according to the normal procedures. And the points you get are 12.5 million in total, right? If school exempts you from expulsion, then 10.5 million will be taken away. I will fight for you and only take 10 million in the end. So not only will no one be expelled, but everyone will also receive a reward of 500,000. What do you think?”

How do you feel about it?

Although this proposal is attractive as leaving with 2 million, if it is rejected, everyone will only have 100,000 for transportation expenses to go back.

Staying means taking more exams and perhaps having the opportunity to make money on your own.

You can earn more!

As younger students, they obeyed the command of Hikigaya-senpai this time, and then discovered his plan, which asked everyone to collect prop cards.

In the end, a seemingly inconspicuous set of prop cards could actually create a value of 2.12 million!

If they stay and learn from the experience, can they also have a drink of soup?

Looking at expressions of the students, Tsukishiro knew these children were willing to have all their money robbed.
