Berserk God of War

259: Chapter 259 I Have No Background 259: Chapter 259 I Have No Background We’re talking about one thing, and you’re off on another.

Do you have any idea that if Zheng Yuanlou comes after you, you’re done for?

But at that moment, Sikong Jing was truly perplexed.

Not to mention the tasks from the Martial Arts Hall and the Engraving Martial Hall, the six Battle Puppets in the Combat Hall alone were not something Zheng Yuansheng and the others could defeat.

Sikong Jing’s precise grasp of martial arts combat strength allowed him to judge immediately that Zheng Yuansheng could at most overcome three of them.

Therefore, it was really too strange.

“Forget it, let’s not bother with this fool anymore, let’s hurry up and go.”

Just as Sikong Jing was completely baffled, a group of men and women spoke up again.

“This Level 1 Apprentice probably has all his martial skills fully developed but has a simple mind.

Let’s not persuade him anymore to avoid being dragged down by him.”

The group said their piece and left one after another.

In the blink of an eye, only Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi were left in front of the Engraving Martial Hall, but the other apprentices didn’t go far, instead waiting for the drama to unfold.

It wouldn’t take long before Zheng Yuanlou would definitely come and beat this Level 1 Apprentice until he was searching the ground for his teeth.

“The woman next to him is quite beautiful, what a pity she’s with a fool.

She’ll definitely be dominated by Zheng Yuansheng in a moment.”

Some people were eyeing Su Yuexi, taking pleasure in her misfortune.

Meanwhile, Su Yuexi was not pondering the regular tasks like Sikong Jing, but instead asked, “Brother Jing, what should we do?”

Coming back to his senses, Sikong Jing reassured, “It’s alright, I’ve fought Official Students before, just not from the Xingluo Palace.”

Upon hearing this, Su Yuexi came to her senses, realizing he was talking about Gu Wei from Xingluo Palace.

Sikong Jing didn’t take the matter to heart.

What puzzled him now was why Yu Yan had been away for so long and had not yet returned.

…

At the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace, the site of the Martial Combat Test for new apprentices.

Seeing Wen Hu and Yu Yan arriving breathlessly, Vice Palace Master Qin Heng asked with confusion, “What’s the rush?”

Wen Hu took a deep breath upon hearing this.

Without saying much, he handed over the Green Jade Stone Plate he was holding, “Vice Palace Master Qin, please take a look at this Green Jade Stone Plate first…”

Qin Heng blinked and took the stone plate to look it over.

Boom!

The next instant, a terrifying aura erupted from him, after which he stared intently at Wen Hu and asked, “Where did this come from?”

A high-grade high-level martial skill wasn’t shocking to him, but what was inside was the Beast Skill Black Vortex Fist.

It somewhat resembled the Black Vortex Battle Fist from Xingluo Palace, yet it was completely different, and even stronger than the Black Vortex Battle Fist.

It was definitely a fist skill learned from the Black Swirl Ape, but he had never seen it before…

No matter what, this was something capable of seriously slapping the face of the Long Night Star Palace.

Without hesitation, Wen Hu quickly had Yu Yan explain the situation with Sikong Jing.

Vice Palace Master Qin’s pupils shrank as he said to Wen Hu, “Didn’t you say that person has a Spirit Martial Root?”

“Yes, when he came I tested him, he definitely has a Spirit Martial Root,” Wen Hu replied emphatically.

But Yu Yan opened her mouth in shock, cutting over to say, “Master Wen Hu, is your testing tool broken?

Sikong Jing is at the Innate First Realm of the Martial Acupoint Realm, how could he possibly have a Spirit Martial Root?”

Stunned, Wen Hu opened his mouth, utterly baffled.

The same goes for that statement: the probability of someone with a Spirit Martial Root entering the Innate Realm is practically zero.

At this moment, Qin Heng glared at Wen Hu and said, “Your testing tool must be broken.

Now hurry up and take me to see that Sikong Jing, we must explain things to him clearly…

about the stringent old rules.”

Wen Hu felt an urge to cry, his heart was in turmoil.

Can you blame me if the testing tool is broken?

If they allowed Sikong Jing, a super genius capable of engraving high-level Hong-grade martial skills, to harbor resentment against them or even get so angry that he leaves the Holy Dragon Palace, Vice Palace Master Qin would probably punish him.

And Institute Master Tan might just destroy him.

Not daring to think too much, he quickly followed Qin Heng back to the Saint Dragon Palace canyon, but confusion arose again along the way, “That’s not right, if Sikong Jing is truly a genius, then why would Xingluo Palace not want him and even force him to be an apprentice?”

This was something Sikong Jing had said himself…

Wen Hu was utterly perplexed.

…

In front of the Engraving Martial Hall, Sikong Jing and Su Yuexi were still waiting.

But just at that moment, a sinister voice sounded, “Who dares to hit my little brother, get out here.”

As soon as the voice dropped, a light went on in the eyes of the surrounding apprentices—Zheng Yuanlou had arrived so quickly.

And that Level 1 apprentice was still foolishly standing in front of the Engraving Martial Hall, even if he were a fool, he should have run to hide first.

Now, there was going to be a good show.

Hehe, who knew how this idiot would end up being beaten.

Su Yuexi gently grasped Sikong Jing’s clothing corner and then looked towards the source of the voice.

She saw a similarly tall man striding over from the Apprentice School Region.

Behind him were Zheng Yuansheng and the others with their bruised faces, and this man had to be Zheng Yuanlou, wearing a blue Martial Arts uniform embroidered with a dragon, lightning flashing all around it.

It was indeed the attire of an official student from Thunder Dragon Mountain.

“Big brother, it’s him,” pointed Zheng Yuansheng towards Sikong Jing, seething with hatred.

In an instant, Zheng Yuanlou stepped up in front of Sikong Jing, his mouth curling into a sinister smile, “You’re a newcomer, on what grounds do you dare to hit my brother?

Tell me your background.”

He wasn’t as impulsive as Zheng Yuansheng, there was even some apprehension in his eyes.

A Level 1 apprentice, having hit his own brother, still dared to stand in place waiting for him—things were probably not that simple.

Sikong Jing slightly sensed Zheng Yuanlou’s True Qi aura, which should be at the peak of the Innate Martial Scripture Realm, not much stronger than Gu Wei.

He shrugged and said, “I, have no background.”

Zheng Yuanlou was stunned for a moment, then glared at Sikong Jing, “No background?

Then you dare to hit my brother because you’re courting death!”

Boom!

As his words fell, Zheng Yuanlou’s True Qi burst forth, and he said, “It seems you are a new apprentice who knows nothing.

Now, kneel and kowtow, then offer your woman to my brother, and I might spare your life.”

His tone was extremely domineering.

Having no background and still daring to wait in place, that could only mean ignorance.

Cold light flashed again in Sikong Jing’s eyes, daring to covet Yue Xi?

Then he wouldn’t blame himself for taking down an official student as a newcomer, he took a step towards Zheng Yuanlou, facing his aura.

“No way, is this newcomer really challenging him?”

“His mind really must be flawed, in a while he won’t just have to kneel, he might not even live.”

“Zheng Yuanlou is notoriously ruthless when it comes to defending his little brother.”

The surrounding apprentices murmured among themselves again, but no one came out to stand up for Sikong Jing due to his response earlier.

Meanwhile, Zheng Yuanlou laughed, saying with overwhelming arrogance, “It seems I haven’t taken action in the Apprentice School Region for too long.

A new apprentice with no background dares to challenge me; then I won’t be polite and I’ll use you to establish my authority.”

After speaking, Zheng Yuanlou’s True Qi exploded, and his massive fist thundered towards Sikong Jing.

However, in the next instant, a figure suddenly appeared before him.

Slap…

A crisp sound rang heavily on Zheng Yuanlou’s face, and the whole person flew out like a kite with its string cut, crashing to the ground with a bang.

The whole scene was stunned, what just happened?

After a breath, Zheng Yuanlou leapt up, raging in fury and bellowed, “Who the fuck dared to sneak attack me, who the fuck dares to help this new apprentice, I’ll kill your whole family.”

Zheng Yuanlou was mad with rage, someone had suddenly launched a sneak attack on him.

Then, a cold voice arose, “I did it, you want to kill my whole family?”

As Zheng Yuanlou furiously looked up, he thudded to his knees on the ground, dumbfoundedly saying, “Vice Palace Master Qin!”
