257: Chapter 257: Something Big Happened, There’s a Pervert!

“It seems to be five points, but I’ll have to ask Master Wen Hu for the specifics.”

This time, Yu Yan didn’t dare to speak rashly, but said so through gritted teeth.

She now wished she had wings to fly to Wen Hu and ask what exactly she should do.

However, Sikong Jing nodded and expressed a desire to go to the next designated task location—after all, it was the last one, and once completed, he would be completely free of future worries.

For the next month, he could freely take on other tasks.

Yu Yan hesitated for a long time but eventually decided to take Sikong Jing first.

Now, she was curious, what else could this freak do?

Soon after, they arrived at the Engraving Martial Hall.

“The third task is to engrave Martial Skills.”

“You must use the most ordinary Green Jade Stone Plate to engrave a Martial Skill of Deserted Grade or higher within three attempts.”

After saying this, Yu Yan seemed to have used all her strength.

The first month did not actually require engraving Deserted Grade Martial Skills; one only needed to engrave Emperor Grade Upper Stage.

Moreover, there were ten chances to engrave, not three.

“Senior Sister Yu, are you feeling very hot?

Why are you sweating so much?”

Sikong Jing, of course, knew nothing, wondering why Yu Yan was so hot.

Twitching the corner of her mouth, Yu Yan wiped the sweat from her forehead.

Her voice slightly faltered as she said, “It’s nothing; I’ve just always been sensitive to heat, you can start now…”

Sikong Jing didn’t continue to ask about the heat and instead took out a piece of Green Jade Stone Plate.

Beast Skill, Black Swirl Fist, immediately flashed through his mind.

Then he began to engrave with focused attention…

His Beast Skill, Black Swirl Fist, was no longer a secret; Tan Yue had learned it completely after watching him do it once.

Therefore, Sikong Jing simply wanted to challenge himself.

To see if he could use an ordinary Green Jade Stone Plate to engrave a Martial Skill of High Grade Upper Stage.

Thus, Sikong Jing engraved very slowly and Yu Yan waited patiently.

This time, it took two hours.

Sikong Jing finally completed the engraving, successfully producing a High Grade Upper Stage Martial Skill in one go.

“You finished it in one go?” Yu Yan asked in surprise.

“Yes, I got lucky; I didn’t expect to complete it on the first try,” Sikong Jing replied with a smile.

He then handed the Green Jade Stone Plate to Yu Yan, who took a deep breath; her hands trembled slightly.

Even she might not be able to engrave a Deserted Grade Martial Skill in one go.

Especially on the most common Green Jade Stone Plate, success on the first try always required some luck.

Yu Yan expanded her consciousness and entered the Green Jade Stone Plate engraved by Sikong Jing, and then…

boom!

An overwhelmingly terrifying aura exploded into her mind, causing her to instinctively take a few steps back.

Yu Yan’s eyes widened dramatically as her body began to tremble violently.

The stone plate depicted a Black Swirl Ape furiously practicing punches, then transforming into a human, and executing another set of fist techniques.

Powerful, wild, brutal!

After some time, Yu Yan withdrew from the experience.

Then, she looked at Sikong Jing with frenzied eyes, her voice trembling as she asked, “Is this, is this a High Grade Martial Skill?”

With her realm, she could only identify it as High Grade, but she couldn’t specifically discern whether it was high, middle, or low stage.

Regardless, it was overwhelmingly terrifying—even the High Grade lower rank was not to be trifled with.

Sikong Jing nodded and said, “Yes, it’s a High Grade Upper Stage Martial Skill, a Beast Skill Black Swirl Fist that I created.”

He didn’t hide anything, and it was still the same thing Master Tan Yue already knew about.

“High, High Grade Upper Stage, did you create it yourself?” Yu Yan felt her brain couldn’t make sense of it, completely dumbfounded.

A hint of confusion flashed in Sikong Jing’s eyes, but he still nodded and said, “Yeah, didn’t Master Tan Yue tell you?”

After seeing Yu Yan shake her head, Sikong Jing explained, “I gained the inspiration from the Black Swirl Ape in the Minglong Mountain Range and then from the ‘Black Vortex Battle Fist Statue’ in the Xingluo Palace, and created this Fist Skill.”

“It was also because of this that Master Tan Yue gave me a Token, saying that I could become a student of the Holy Dragon Palace anytime.”

Saying this, Sikong Jing felt somewhat helpless, it seemed Master Tan Yue didn’t place much importance on his Spirit Martial Root.

And hadn’t informed the people of the Holy Dragon Palace about this matter.

But it didn’t matter, having a Spirit Martial Root really did lead to hitting a wall at every turn, and his Spirit Martial Root wasn’t genuine, for he was the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, possessing an overwhelmingly strong Martial Arts Talent.

Yu Yan’s mouth hung open, so Master Tan Yue really wasn’t just randomly taking people in while drunk?

This time he truly accepted a monstrous figure, it’s over…

why didn’t Master Tan Yue say anything when he returned?

Wait, he had never returned at all.

He’d actually taken Sikong Jing as an apprentice.

If such a genius were to leave in anger, that would be trouble.

The more Yu Yan thought about it, the more disordered her feelings became, sensing that this was not something she could handle as a mere student.

With that thought, she quickly said, “You guys wait here for me, I’ll be right back.”

After speaking, she took the Green Jade Stone Plate with the Beast Skill Black Vortex Fist and dashed toward the Task Hall, now they must get Master Wen Hu to deal with this…

No, even Master Wen Hu might not be able to handle it.

He would definitely have to report this higher up…

Seeing Yu Yan hurry off, Su Yuexi asked in confusion, “Brother Jing, why does Senior Sister Yu seem in such a rush?”

“It’s quite normal, this Fist Skill of mine is equivalent to the Black Vortex Battle Fist of the Xingluo Palace, it concerns the animosity between two palaces, Senior Sister Yu surely has to report it up,” Sikong Jing replied with a smile.

Suddenly, Su Yuexi’s eyes lit up, “Maybe we could get some extra points.”

Sikong Jing smiled and nodded, but in his heart, he thought that the geniuses outside the Canglong Domain were really impressive, and the Three Great Academies were indeed mighty.

Even a mere apprentice had to do such tasks every month…

These regular tasks for the apprentices were unimaginable for those in the Canglong Domain.

Sikong Jing still didn’t know that he’d been deliberately made to struggle and assumed that the apprentices of Long Night Saint Dragon Palace could easily complete such tasks.

You couldn’t blame him; after all, Sikong Jing had just come out from Canglong Domain.

…

Meanwhile, Yu Yan flashed back to the Task Hall, just in time to see Master Wen Hu leisurely sipping tea and humming a tune.

She stepped forward and called out, “Master Wen, there’s big trouble!”

Master Wen Hu slowly raised his head and spoke indifferently, “What’s the big trouble about?

Is it about an apprentice dissatisfied with the harshness of the task, wanting to complain to Institute Master Tan?

It’s okay, if you don’t dare to discipline him, I will…”

Having said that, Master Wen Hu stood up.

He then interrupted what Yu Yan was about to say, “I’ve seen plenty of these incidents.

After all, Dean Tan Yue is also clueless afterwards.

He takes people in randomly when he’s drunk, and he doesn’t like to manage things.”

“If that apprentice boy dares to make trouble, I’ll make him cry for his daddy and mommy, begging on his knees.”

As soon as these words were spoken, Master Wen Hu walked out leisurely…

“Master Wen, can you damn well let me finish speaking?”

Yu Yan couldn’t help but curse out loud, “Just now, that apprentice Sikong Jing, easily passed the three trials, and not the usual ones, but the old-school trials…”

At these words, Master Wen Hu’s body stiffened, and he exclaimed, “Impossible, he’s just a Spirit…”

Before he could finish, Yu Yan tossed the Green Jade Stone Plate into his hands and shouted, “And his third task was this, you damn well take a close look, this is going to pierce the heavens!”

Master Wen Hu was stunned.

The normally well-behaved girl had cursed twice in a row; he hurriedly looked down at it.
