Berserk God of War

256: Chapter 256: Such a Simple Task 256: Chapter 256: Such a Simple Task Yu Yan subconsciously widened her eyes and exclaimed in a low voice, “Shadowless Butterfly Double Palm!”

Her exclamation immediately caught Su Yuexi’s attention.

Realizing what had happened, Su Yuexi suddenly became flustered and hurried back to Yu Yan, saying, “I’m sorry, Sister Yu, I don’t know how, but I just unconsciously comprehended it.”

“I really didn’t do it on purpose, I’m not an apprentice of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace, you won’t punish me, will you?”

As she spoke, she looked anxiously at Yu Yan and quickly added, “If you must punish someone, punish me, please don’t take it out on Brother Jing, I beg you.”

Yu Yan still looked utterly confused, twitched the corner of her mouth, and asked, “Have you learned the Shadowless Butterfly Double Palm before?”

She couldn’t care less about punishing or not punishing at the moment, she just wanted to know if the beautiful woman in front of her had learned it before and was pretending.

Su Yuexi vigorously shook her head, still looking very anxious as she replied, “No, Brother Jing and I have just come from the Canglong Domain, which is a very remote area, and we haven’t learned any techniques from the Long Night Empire.”

Although Yu Yan had never heard of the Canglong Domain, she knew that these small domains were hidden between terrifying mountains and desolate lands.

Saying they were from a remote tribe wasn’t an exaggeration, so they definitely hadn’t learned it.

Thinking this, Yu Yan quickly asked, “Then how did you do it?”

Su Yuexi blinked and pointed to several Green Jade Stone Plates in the hall.

“I just thought the butterflies on these Green Jade Stone Plates were so beautiful, as if they could be connected, and then I saw a shadow casting beautiful palm winds, and I just mimicked it.”

Looking at the Green Jade Stone Plates that Su Yuexi pointed to, Yu Yan fully confirmed that she wasn’t lying.

Those were indeed the Stone Plates for the Shadowless Butterfly Double Palm.

Being able to point them out immediately meant she had indeed comprehended them on her own.

But to do so in less than half a moment seemed too absurd, didn’t it?

Swallowing hard, Yu Yan asked, “Your talent is quite impressive, why hasn’t Dean Tan Yue taken you in?”

With such talent, even Tan Yue, when drunk, should have taken her instead of her boyfriend.

Su Yuexi blinked again and replied, “I’m just a little woman beside Brother Jing, how could Dean Tan Yue possibly take me in?

Besides, the Dantian and meridians in my body are severely damaged due to poisoning, and I currently have no Martial Arts.”

With her mouth wide open, she had no Martial Arts?

Yu Yan hurriedly grabbed Su Yuexi’s hand to check her pulse.

Indeed, there wasn’t a trace of Martial Arts True Energy, and the Dantian and meridians were severely damaged, yet she was able to effortlessly comprehend the Lower-stage Desolate-grade Shadowless Butterfly Double Palm; how utterly demoralizing was that?

“Master Yu, I’ve finished,” said Sikong Jing just as Yu Yan was feeling dizzy.

Yu Yan subconsciously looked over and quickly replied, “I’m not a master; I’m a fourth-year student at Fire Dragon Mountain working an on-duty shift at the Task Hall, which is a task I must complete as a student.”

The seven mountains of Qilong Mountain are: Golden Dragon Mountain, Dark Dragon Mountain, Wind Dragon Mountain, Fire Dragon Mountain, Cloud Dragon Mountain, Thunder Dragon Mountain, and Drunk Dragon Mountain.

The main peak is Golden Dragon Mountain, where the Palace Master resides.

Drunk Dragon Mountain is the most unique because the peak resembles a drunken dragon, and it has been called this since ancient times.

Hearing this, Sikong Jing nodded slightly and then softly said, “Then, Sister Yu, I’ve already finished comprehending the Martial Skill, can I proceed to demonstrate and confirm the task now?”

Opening her mouth, Yu Yan still felt that Sikong Jing was boasting; how could two people possibly complete it so quickly?

However, considering the precedent set by Su Yuexi, she nodded and said, “Yes, I can confirm that you’ve completed the task.”

No sooner had she spoken than Sikong Jing, without any hesitation, executed a series of Fist Skills, each punch bursting with power and completing the sequence in the blink of an eye.

Afterwards, Sikong Jing asked, “This should be the Mid-level Deserted Grade, right?”

“Dragon Roar Wind Fist.”

Yu Yan’s mouth dropped open, and her eyes bulged in astonishment.

If the Shadowless Butterfly Double Palm could have been learned outside, then the possibility that Dragon Roar Wind Fist was also acquired that way was extremely slim.

Because this Fist Skill was exclusive to the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace.

Although it had also been disseminated, few people were able to learn it, mainly because it was very difficult.

“Dragon Roar Wind Fist…

What a name,” Sikong Jing praised loudly.

“It indeed resembles a dragon flying and roaring in the wind, echoing across the Jiutian.”

After he finished, he realized Yu Yan was still frozen, so he asked in confusion, “Master Yu?”

Yu Yan seemed to snap out of her daze and replied vacantly, “It is indeed a Deserted Grade middel rank Martial Skill, your first task is completed, and you can get… five points.”

After speaking, her cheek twitched slightly.

Five points were what ordinary apprentices received after grasping three Heavenly Grade movements, but was it really appropriate to give only five points to Sikong Jing now?

Meanwhile, Sikong Jing said with a smile to Su Yuexi, “I earned five points, it was quite easy and took only half a moment.”

Su Yuexi also happily responded, “Yes, Brother Jing, it won’t take long for you to reach the Second-level Apprentice status.”

Seeing the joyful expressions of the two, Yu Yan felt quite miserable inside.

In fact, for an apprentice to grasp a Deserted Grade middel rank skill could usually earn five hundred points, now what could she do?

“Master Yu, can we go on to the next task?” Sikong Jing inquired.

Yu Yan took a deep breath and nodded, replying, “Alright, I’ll take you there now.”

The three left the Martial Arts Hall and entered the Combat Hall…

“Apprentices can enter the Combat Hall three times a month.

The Combat Hall is divided into the Apprentice Combat Area and the Battle Puppet Area, and as it’s your first month, you must enter the War Puppet Channel and defeat six, six battle puppets to qualify.”

As she said the word “six,” she found it a bit hard to continue.

Because ordinary apprentices only needed to defeat two battle puppets.

But apprentices accepted by Tan Yue had to defeat six, and each successive battle puppet was stronger and harder to handle than the previous one.

It was almost impossible for new apprentices to conquer six, making it truly too harsh.

“Six battle puppets, all are in the same realm as me?” asked Sikong Jing.

Yu Yan, teeth clenched, responded, “The first one is in the same realm as you; each subsequent one increases by one small realm.”

After she finished, she braced herself for Sikong Jing’s rebuke—surpassing five small realms was not easy at all.

Moreover, the battle puppets of the Long Night Saint Dragon Palace were very formidable, and it was not easy to win at the same realm.

Sikong Jing, of course, did not start scolding but seriously nodded, “I understand.

I am currently at the first layer of the Martial Acupoint Realm, so the sixth battle puppet is just at the Martial Acupoint Sixth Realm.”

“That’s also easy, so I’m going in now.”

After saying this, he didn’t wait for Yu Yan to respond but stepped into the War Puppet Channel.

Yu Yan opened her mouth, wanting to say something but couldn’t, as the Martial Acupoint Sixth Realm was still “just” after all?

You don’t know just how formidable the Holy Dragon Palace’s battle puppets are, do you?

However, in less than twenty breaths, Sikong Jing walked out from the inside and smilingly said, “Master Yu, I’ve completed the second task, do I get another five points?”

Yu Yan was so shocked that she couldn’t speak—six battle puppets, and Sikong Jing had instant-killed them all!

This time Dean Tan Yue really went against the norm and took in a super freak!
