Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1035: Chapter 829: Have You Been Soaked in Water Too Long?

The Snow Old Dog, who was kicked to the ground, appeared quite calm, just standing up with a smile and patting his robe.

He looked down at the ‘Young Master’ who was staring at him with a fierce gaze, his tone gentle: “You see, if it weren’t for your forgetfulness, I wouldn’t have had to endure that kick.”

The ‘Young Master’ was just about to say something, but finally understood the meaning behind Old Dog’s words: Old Dog clearly knew that doing so would reveal his cold-heartedness in watching the Sanda King’s spectacle… Getting beaten was inevitable.

Perhaps the Sanda King might teach him a lesson in the future… That lady always has an account book in her heart that won’t rest until it’s cleared.

But even knowing such a terrifying result would follow, Old Dog went ahead to teach him by telling the Sanda King about this matter… He clearly planned to keep his mouth shut before.

If it weren’t the case, when the Sanda King was scouring the world for the real culprit a few days ago, Old Dog would have spoken up… ‘Snow Cloud Peak’ might have a sharp tongue, but he’s really not someone who likes to snitch. He generally keeps these things to himself unless there’s an accounting after the fact; otherwise, he won’t reveal them.

So, was he being reckoned in the total account now? The Young Master was a bit confused… Did Old Dog discard his planning case over the past few days, hurting that much?

The young master, who had never seen someone else’s plan and only received others’ plans, was finally feeling a bit guilty… Although still somewhat unwilling, he decided to keep the secretary!

The finally unified-thinking Undead Tribe began accompanying Vila in meticulously scattering various plant seeds throughout the entire Alamir Mountain.

The Undead Tribe originally thought that the Little Fairy Queen would set off to Mil Forest after planting the mountains with flowers and trees, but they overlooked the fact that the Little Fairies’ concept of time is different… Vila thinks there’s still plenty of time.

Moreover, for Vila, establishing a natural cycle isn’t just about planting the vegetation; it also requires them to grow out well, at least making it a place where Little Fairies can live happily.

But the natural environment favored by the Little Fairies… after discussion, the Undead Tribe realized it was either deep in the forest or at Agleya.

Agleya, because there’s Nature’s Darling named Hill; the Undead Tribe knew it well… if you step beyond the boundaries of Agleya, the plants on the ground will be halved in height.

To build their envisioned natural cycle, these playful Little Fairies seldom work tirelessly, waking up early every morning to fly in groups to Alamir Mountain to care for the plants.

They even filled the city walls with a peculiar moss… Initially, the Undead Tribe didn’t understand, but later discovered these mosses almost only cling to the stone outside, but their roots densely extend like a mesh into the stone crevices… those are the stone’s naturally invisible breaches.

Then the Earth Mage found himself heading towards unemployment… The Great Wall became increasingly solid, and unless the Divine Beasts gathered together again, a few of them couldn’t budge the walls at all.

Looking at the Little Fairies’ transformation of the Great Wall… It seems Vila plans to hold the Autumn Equinox Hunting Ceremony at the foot of Alamir Mountain!

No wonder the camp is everywhere filled with oak trees… The Undead Tribe has a good relationship with the Little Fairies, knowing that the Autumn Equinox celebration must take place in an Oak Forest… although it should originally be the oldest oak trees.

Vila no longer carries out daily routines on Alamir Mountain but instead focuses on those oak trees day after day… Who knows where she got the seeds; these oak saplings grow rapidly, shooting up visibly taller within a few days… clearly not normal seeds, probably Hill provided some good stuff again.

The seeds optimized by the Nature Mage are naturally astonishing.

After a discussion lasting several days, the Undead Tribe finally realized that what the Little Fairies wanted to care for was nature itself, and how pitifully or tragically the Kalinsanians lived, they completely didn’t care.

Hence, Vila could take her time slowly…

Fortunately, the Divine Beasts understood the Undead Tribe’s misery, charging towards them obstinately every few days… Although it provided entertainment and brought in a lot of experience, the Tribe found it baffling… These Divine Beasts seemed unable to control their emotions.

Whether it’s the Fire God Beast or the Air God Creature, each seemed to rage at the sight of the Great Wall on the mountains, then gathered and charged towards the mountaintop… Then halfway through, either a companion died or they suddenly snapped out of it, roaring back to the plains, continuing their battle with others once again.

The last time they saw NPCs acting like such tools was in Teraxil’s instance.

Having been in Toril for so long, the Undead Tribe suddenly missed those instances where they fought for life and death… Wondering if William could set one up in Toril too.

They debated heatedly about it… This also reflected how monotonous life had been recently… Then this topic was concluded in two sentences by Old Dog who thought them insane: “I think, with William’s temperament, if you really have to force him to work overtime, he would probably create an instance using the most terrifying enemies from the Underdark.

I’m indifferent, PVP won’t be entering the instance… although I used to join them, when I don’t want to, I have the best excuse.”

The Undead Tribe being watched by Snow Old Dog while patrolling The Great Wall instantly turned pale; they obviously knew what Snow Old Dog was referring to… Whether it was those mushroom monsters or the Worm Mage, or even those Purple Worms, they were all creatures they didn’t want to encounter again… That’s also why, knowing the battles in the Underdark would be fiercer, they chose to follow the Little Fairy instead.

William had already informed them that the battle process during the Kalinsan journey wouldn’t necessarily be very intense… Yet, even more people chose to come to Kalinsan to enjoy the sunlight.

After being rebuked by Snow Old Dog, the Undead Tribe would rather stand on the city wall every day, shouting angrily at the divine beasts wandering around the foot of the distant mountain, trying to provoke one or two to come closer, than dare to mention the instance… Clearly, they knew William and Old Dog were kindred spirits.

What Old Dog wanted, William would not only think of it but also be even more ruthless… After all, he saw more.

Because the moonlight was always so bright, Hill could only sit in the garden and read… He noticed Purwell flying up and down over Agleya City, while Fran might only see after the divine beasts attacked The Great Wall.

For Toril people, the Crystal Core of the divine beasts is valuable legendary material, even a bit more precious than that from Giant Dragons… But for Teraxil people, what’s so remarkable about Elemental Ore?

So after Fran discovered the specialties from the Kalinsan side, he simply returned to the half-plane.

Hill was actually feeling uninspired too; fortunately, the Undead Tribe at least entertained him for two more days.

He was somewhat puzzled by why Celene remained silent… Initially, Hill felt a little uneasy, considering Celene’s chaotic and willful nature, it would be truly terrifying if she learned the Undead Tribe’s working style…

However, he later thought that if Celene could learn the style of the Undead Tribe, which was crazy yet restricted chaos within certain frameworks, it wouldn’t be bad… Of course, more importantly, even if this Maiden of the Moon became worse, it wouldn’t affect Teraxil.

AO always had the ability to clean up the mess for his precious daughter.

But it seems because the Undead Tribe mentioned William, Celene couldn’t help but speak: “Judging by what I’ve heard, doesn’t William also belong to the Orderly Camp?”

Celene was somewhat confused… A deity that torments its devotees like this seems chaotic, doesn’t it?

Moreover, the style of the Undead Tribe seems even more reckless than that of her Chosen.

Why are they still judged as belonging to an Orderly Camp?

Hill hadn’t figured out how to respond when Shaer’s voice gently sounded: “These aren’t William’s devotees, just general believers… To them, everything from an Otherworldly realm is a kind of fun, but it doesn’t affect their lives in this world.”

Celene’s moonlight flickered before she asked: “Using projections to the Otherworld… so the Undead Tribe is like Elemental Spirits? Can’t possibly be seen as Demons or Devils, right?”

“In reality, their style is more like Devils… or perhaps White Devils?

Upon arriving in Toril, they act wantonly within the rules… Just like summoned Devils, no matter what, they have to observe that summoning contract on the surface… As for whether they can break it, that’s another matter.

From what I understand, the Undead Tribe is also trying to find loopholes in the rules set by William, but the disparity in power and thought is too vast, making it not easy to find them.

Yet, any rule has loopholes; as long as time is long enough… who knows what will happen in the future.”

Hill blinked… The term “White Devil” was interesting, but who knew if such creatures really existed… If they did, Shaer and Celene would certainly know… or perhaps this term was created by the Night Goddess herself.

Shaer, renowned for her wisdom as a goddess, has the closest observations of the Undead Tribe… Yet she still doesn’t understand the extent of the lethal power held by the game company owner… Even if the Undead Tribe really caught a loophole in William’s rules, they might still face sanctions.

Hill remained silent, letting Shaer think that way! He couldn’t well say, rest assured everything is fine, William for the Undead Tribe is equivalent to AO for Toril… If the situation gets out of control, just press the reset button.

Though Toril, no matter how many times it might be destroyed, even if the entire world returns to chaos, these two Goddesses of the Moon couldn’t possibly be remodeled… They are the embodiments of Primordial Power creating everything, even AO cannot destroy them.

No one likes such terrifying, irresistible fate… Even Shaer, who always wants to return to a chaotic world, doesn’t.

Celene hesitated before asking: “If I behave similarly, won’t I be judged as Orderly? I’m not particularly willing to~”

Shaer decisively responded: “Have your bubbles increased?”
