Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 1084: Chapter 877: Yinbutu’s Attempt to Divert Calamity Eastward

Celene unhesitatingly accepted the knife handed over by her own sister, “Isn’t that great? Did you and Dark Sun agree on it?”

Although she’s adept at causing chaos, she’s still well aware of the little things between the deities.

“Yes, we agreed to let him say it, and Cyric won’t expose it.” Shaer’s tone was flat, as if she and Dark Sun had just exchanged a couple of words rather than having a careful and serious transaction.

But for Celene, this was enough… If it were her, she would take on this big, round pot if it would make her enemy spit blood or even appear in front of her voluntarily.

As long as she could fight back, Celene didn’t mind whether she was taking on a gigantic stack of pots.

Perhaps it was also because, although Shaer was plotting in secret, it wasn’t aimed at Celene with hostility, so her intuition didn’t feel a sense of crisis as long as the reason was plausible—the Maiden of the Moon wouldn’t overthink it.

Hill silently watched the undead priest crawling out of the cave on the giant screen, starting the hard task of collecting corpses while painstakingly holding a poker face… Now he understood why Celene was always deceived.

As long as the other’s intentions were harmless to Celene herself, she acted entirely on her intuition.

But the intuition formed from only half of the conversation… Wait, he overthought it.

When it comes to people using Celene, what outcome they’ll end up with is truly an unknown, indeed Celene might cause a big scene due to her mistaken judgment, but the target might meet a bad end, and those using her definitely won’t get what they want.

Not spitting blood and dying is already a blessing.

On the ground, the undead tribe lay strewn about, severely damaged by the axe light, but this kind of unlucky event that would make a Toril priest’s Great Resurrection Spell fail, didn’t make much of a difference to the undead tribe—even if their bodies were in pieces, the cost of resurrection was still the same.

Unlike Toril, if like the undead tribe missing an arm or leg and even half the body is gone, the resurrection cost would probably equal crafting a divine artifact.

Amanata’s Holy Grail’s resurrection technique doesn’t need materials, that’s because it contains the power of the Sun God as a substitute for those divine arts materials.

Prince Holmes, hiding in the carriage, watched with a bit of envy as the undead tribe stood up one by one, then turned into patches for resurrection.

He also understood from the conversation between ‘Lu Huayu’ and other priests that the cost of reviving the Teraxil Elves isn’t low, but at least it won’t fail!

On Toril, with resurrection techniques there, failing three times means there is basically no possibility of waking up again!

Holding the cushion silently in the carriage, Prince Holmes didn’t bother with the elf commander’s invitation to continue to the palace on the mountaintop… His curiosity about the Queen of Succubus, and greed for that palace, had already been thoroughly scared away by this battle between two gods!

Prince Holmes now only hoped that his presence would be ignored by all the Toril Gods, especially that Tyrant Monarch Bane!

He never dreamt that such an unforeseen disaster would land on him!

Prince Holmes tightly gripped the thick cushion… Even if his existence went unnoticed by any deities, those two gods’ loud voices were enough to spread their conversation throughout all of Yinbutu!

Despairingly tossing aside the ragged cushion, the Yinbutu Crown Prince could only hope that those liches watching from the Magic Tower in Giant Valley would share in their Yinbutu’s trials and tribulations.

Because the vision and hearing brought by Lich Gems are a bit better, right?

Sighing heavily, Prince Holmes felt he had instantly aged decades… Who was it that suggested inviting the Teraxil Elves to help clean up the Giant’s Ridge Mountains?

How many unlucky gods are attached to those elves, after all?

Why do they have relationships with both Lansendel and Celene!

The deities of Toril are countless, why must they have good relations with the two most troublesome ones?

Doesn’t Coron inform his descendants which deities on Toril are the most untouchable?

At this thought, Prince Holmes couldn’t help but choke… Coron indeed doesn’t care much.

Otherwise, the First Dawn Calamity wouldn’t have happened.

The Yinbutu Crown Prince was lost in confusion, completely unaware of what Yinbutu would become in the future… If Bane wanted to target their country, wouldn’t it be like playing a game?

Gritting his teeth, Prince Holmes looked towards the direction of Giant Valley through the multiple layers of mountain walls: Compared to the weak Yinbutu, Giant Valley was better suited to attract that enmity!

After all, the Goblin Chief God’s altar is right there, isn’t it?

Magnubiyeh will surely see his loyal followers there… Might as well start building his kingdom there!

The Yinbutu can’t accompany them.

Prince Holmes decided to go cry at Ravig Magic Tower in the Tomasic Mountains as soon as he returned!

It was already a life-and-death crisis, and they didn’t even need them to come out to fight; just think of a way to deflect the trouble, and it would be fine, right?

The Yinbutu Royal Family had been offering to these ancestors for many years, faced with so much trouble, even when their own princess was killed by the Queen of Succubus, they didn’t ask them to take action; just a little conspiracy to deal with their former enemies, these skeletons really should act now!

Standing at the cave entrance, Lu Huayu didn’t know the turmoil in his guest’s heart. He simply thought these folks were scared by the appearance of the Goblin Chief God and dared not go to places where deities had appeared.

Reverence for the deities? That, he quite understood.

Ever since seeing Ambori’s temple in Yinbutu, the Undead Tribe had no hopes for the people of this country… a place where even seaweed heads had to dutifully make offerings—what else could they do!

The Undead Tribe certainly couldn’t understand that although Ambori was weak, she was shameless!

Any coastal country daring not to worship her, she’d definitely take action herself… whether she’s beaten back is another matter.

If she’s not beaten back, then it’s time for her to make money!

In the past, Sword Bay also had Ambori’s temple, even if not large, but both Luskan and Deepwater City had them.

While sailors cursed her venomously, they dared not name her… even though everyone knew the ‘Whore Queen’ by the sea specifically referred to Ambori; it was taken for granted.

But when the Undead Tribe arrived, Sword Bay was already under Agleya, ruling the ocean… the residents, freed from Ambori’s clutches, passionately destroyed all of Ambori’s temples.

The priests who kidnapped their children for sacrifices to Ambori mostly died unnatural deaths.

Why would Ambori share much divine power with her priests? They had to make sacrifices and pray first for their daily tasks… The priests merely looked extraordinary because Ambori had few priests and immediately responded for monetary gains.

But when Ambori’s power couldn’t reach, these priests were so weak that even fisherwomen could hammer them to death.

Now many coastal people are desperately praying, hoping for the gentle appearance of Goddess Agleya in their seas soon.

But Agleya’s divine power slowly spreads, depending on the prayers of the Toril people. The extension path starts from the outer seas of the Ferun Great Land, and it’s not easy for Agleya’s power to be summoned here in the Starfall Ocean, located in Central Continent.

So they still had to live under Ambori’s tyranny… But in recent years, Ambori suffered heavy injuries and didn’t have the strength to stir up trouble. As long as they made offerings on time, she wouldn’t empower priests to cause trouble.

Once the Primordial Power swept the continent, Ambori’s priests naturally quieted down.

But the Yinbutu people knew clearly that this blockade against the deities wouldn’t last long, and they’d have to survive under Ambori’s rule in the future.

After all, it’s just a few years.

With numerous harbors, Yinbutu prays three times a day, hoping for Goddess Agleya’s gaze to see the devout Yinbutu people soon.

The Yinbutu Royal Family invited Teraxil Elves, few noble ministers opposed, and some had connections with Agleya City… they thought, what if while these elves spoke of Yinbutu in that city, Agleya, the beautiful and gentle Goddess of the Sea, heard?

Right!

No matter how capable Heim’s mercenaries are, could they bring Goddess Agleya?

A penny only does one job, and one penny having two uses, everyone would choose the latter!

The Undead Tribe certainly couldn’t figure out Yinbutu people’s little secret calculation… Yinbutu hoped Agleya would take the initiative to notice, but absolutely dared not directly invite.

What if Agleya didn’t come, but Ambori returned first?

Toril, long survived in the crevice of all gods’ battle, had developed its own survival laws.

But now Prince Holmes regretted it… Goddess Agleya was indeed their hope, but seeing Lansendel’s Holy Emblem, then Origin God Celene, made it hard for him to endure.

Such a weak country as Yinbutu couldn’t withstand the disasters brought by these two!

Whichever country is between Ambori and those two, they’d choose Ambori, right?

Human joys and sorrows are different. While Yinbutu Crown Prince sat in the carriage, full of melancholy considering life, the Undead Tribe began dismantling the palace after lifting all corpses.

Lu Eunuch finally brought good news… the funds for the Resurrection Technique had to be filled with these bricks!

After Snow Cloud Peak lay for a long time, finally got lifted… resurrection order always prioritizes priests first… then Command Group, after that, depending on priest relationships.

Of course, warriors who shielded priests’ escape were quickly resurrected too, they died benefitting.

Snow Old Dog ignored those lying on the ground, pleading ‘brother’, ‘sister’, ‘aunt’ as he charged swiftly into the precarious palace.

He still had tasks to do!

William believed that Giant’s Ridge Mountains, this Queen of Succubus might have some connections with a certain Half-Succubus previously killed by Hill, instructing Snow Cloud Peak to bring back everything with text in this palace to Agleya for Hill.

He’s familiar with this task!

Snow Old Dog rushed around every room like a whirlwind, needing to seize the time.
