Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2173: Fighting for love (20)

The weapons of both sides collided in front of each otherʼs bodies.

Zimuʼs Spike Mansion Hammers carried two thick bolts of lightning, which transferred through the collision of the weapons onto White Robeʼs body, causing the Silver Order Leader to tremble continuously.

As for the daggers enhanced by the Hand-Eye Star Vortex, one was held horizontally in White Robeʼs hand, blocking the opponentʼs two weapons, while the other followed Zimuʼs raised arm and stabbed into the abdomen of this Huoʼer Star prince.

It must be said that in terms of skill, the gap between Zimu and White Robe was quite large.

Zimu endured the pain but did not move.

Although White Robeʼs dagger had stabbed him, the wound was not fatal. Moreover, because of the lightning he was emitting at that moment, the dagger could not advance any further. The only thing that could still harm him was the continuous bleeding, but that could not last long, at most a dozen seconds or so.

But his attack could continuously affect White Robe. Given that the opponent was already seriously injured, perhaps in the next second, White Robe would be unable to hold on any longer, fall to the ground, and die.

”You are, after all, just a low-ranked prince.” White Robe suddenly opened his mouth and said.

His teeth were covered in blood, making him look very terrifying.

Zimu did not know why he said that, but the next second, his expression changed dramatically. He abandoned the idea of continuing to electrocute White Robe with lightning and suddenly retreated backward.
But it was a bit too late. On his armor, a picture suddenly appeared. When it first emerged and was not fully visible, it was not very clear. But when it completely appeared, it turned out to be exactly the same as the Silver Order Leader mask on White Robeʼs face!

When this pattern of three parts teasing, three parts glaring, and three parts contempt fully took shape, Zimuʼs retreating body suddenly stiffened, and a pained expression appeared on his face.

Then he let out a loud cry. The place on his armor where the mask had been imprinted suddenly exploded. Not only was a large hole blown in the armor, but Zimuʼs chest was also left a blurry mess.

”You, you donʼt think that the Star-Eye Clanʼs masks are just decorations, do you?” White Robe breathed heavily, his waist slightly bent, looking at Zimu and speaking intermittently, a bright smile on his face.

Jie Su was moving around the area, not looking for an opportunity to strike, but cleaning up the battlefield. The discarded weapons, armor, corpses, and the like left no trace.

Seeing the reversal of the situation, he was also somewhat surprised. He had not expected that the Star-Eye Clanʼs mask had the ability to break through Raini-grade armor.

Zimu was silent, not saying a word, just staring at White Robe.

This outcome had indeed caught him off guard and seriously injured him. His chest was now a mess, his sternum shattered, and a strange, burning heat was scorching inside his body. The feeling was as if one had been placed in a fire.

The situation was indeed a bit more disadvantageous for Zimu than before, but only relatively. White Robeʼs injuries were still much heavier than his. The most disadvantageous part of the situation now was that he had no spare armor.

He sighed softly, then raised the Spike Mansion Hammers.

There was no lightning as before, only an invisible force forming in the air.

White Robe looked up, then threw a handful of medicine into his mouth. His injuries immediately improved considerably compared to before. Then he charged again.

Zimu watched White Robe. When the opponent was about to reach him, he suddenly pulled the Spike Mansion Hammers downward. In the sky, a dozen thick bolts of lightning appeared, as if pulled down, and slammed down onto both of their heads.

Yes, both of their heads. Zimu was also within range.

The two were immediately electrocuted, their bodies trembling. Their equipment was being destroyed at a visible rate.

Jie Su gritted his teeth. Now he somewhat regretted it. Perhaps if he had directly intervened earlier, the battle would have been over, and Zimu would not have had the chance to use the ʼBody Lightningʼ ability. Now, he could no longer enter.

This was the great killing move within the Thunder Calamity ability, and it was also a mutually destructive move. Using equipment and internal energy as a guide, it condensed natural forces into lightning power, which then struck within a range around the target, causing indiscriminate killing.

The power went without saying, as it exceeded the userʼs own capabilities.

Amidst the almost continuous huge lightning bolts, the injuries of both sides continuously worsened. If not for their Raini-grade equipment, they would probably have already perished under this terrifying ability.

Jie Su looked up; anxiousness appeared on his face.

At that moment, in the not-too-distant Huoʼer Star camp, the peak expert who had been meditating with his eyes closed suddenly opened his eyes. He hesitated for a moment, then moved out of his tent, his body floating in the air as he looked in one direction.

He closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, there was a strange light flickering inside them.

The next moment, he let out a long howl and flew rapidly in that direction!

Numerous wounds appeared on White Robeʼs body. The lightningʼs power was causing his body to fall apart. Yet, in this situation, he took a step forward.

The thunder summoned from the sky followed his movement.

Zimuʼs eyes widened. He did not understand how this guy could still move.

Comparing the injuries of the two sides, White Robe was clearly worse off, even after taking some medicine. Zimu was waiting for the opponent to collapse first. Then he, the initiator of the ʼBody Lightningʼ, could end this ability.

But White Robe was far stronger than Zimu had imagined, and his strength was far weaker than Zimu had believed.

The Silver Order Leader approached Zimu step by step until, at a certain moment, the two stood facing each other.

White Robe slowly raised his hand and grasped Zimuʼs neck.

By now, the weapons and equipment on both of them had been completely destroyed by the lightning, leaving only simple outer clothing.

White Robe smiled. He felt he was the victor.

But at that moment, Zimu also smiled. From within his clothes, two tentacles suddenly flicked, plunging into White Robeʼs unprotected chest like lightning.

”You, forgot, about my racial talent, didnʼt you?”

Zimu smiled. The Body Lightning ended at that moment. He could feel his injuries rapidly improving. The energy absorbed by the tentacles from White Robe was merging into every cell of his body.

He knew he could survive. Absorbing White Robe, although it would not allow him to kill Jie Su too, would at least provide him with the energy to escape.

The hand gripping Zimuʼs neck gradually loosened. White Robe no longer had any ability to resist. He had done everything he could. But no matter what preparations he had made, no matter how good his high-grade equipment was, in terms of strength, he was still slightly inferior.

Zimu raised both hands, preparing to push White Robeʼs body away. The energy absorption was almost complete.

”I, didnʼt, forget.”

White Robe suddenly forced out three words, his voice hoarse.

Zimu had already pushed White Robe away during this process. At first, he did not understand why his opponent would say that. But he immediately knew. His body, which had been improving greatly, suddenly erupted in intense pain. This caused him to collapse to the ground uncontrollably, and a large amount of blood flowed from every inch of his skin.

Zimu suddenly thought of a possibility. He tried to see White Robe to confirm his guess, but he could not get the angle.

The Huoʼer Star prince persisted for a few seconds, then died with slow, twitching movements.

”The... the grass!” White Robe used his last bit of strength to say to Jie Su, who had rushed over and was holding him.
