Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2161: Fighting for love (8)

Zimu and his group of nine people shuttled rapidly through this forest. They had already caught a glimpse of the renegade dragon. Although that thing could fly, their own movement speed was not slow either.

But the fact was, after chasing for more than ten minutes, they still had not seen the creatureʼs shadow.

”Minor?” the chief guard suddenly said. ”If it is a minor, there is only one explanation: this renegade dragon is of the wind type or the body type.”

Hearing the chief guard say this, everyoneʼs pace slowed down slightly, and they agreed with this view in their hearts. Only renegade dragons of these two systems could have such speed during their juvenile period, making it impossible for them to catch up.

”How about this: I will go chase it. When I catch up, I will hold it down. You all hurry over as soon as possible.”

The great expert looked at Zimu and said.

This prince hesitated for a moment, then nodded in agreement.

Those of them who were not great experts indeed could not catch up to that renegade dragon.

”Protect His Highness well. If there is any problem, I will slaughter you!”

After instructing the other six guards, this great expert suddenly shot forward, his speed many times faster than before. This was his full speed.
Zimu looked at him with envy, then said, ”Letʼs go. Follow.”

The eight people set off, chasing after him. At the chief guardʼs speed, he would probably catch up to the target in a few minutes. They had to hurry.

…………………………

The great expertʼs speed was very fast. Their high Furelai made them far stronger than lives below 100,000 in all respects. After running for only about two minutes, he saw a silver-white renegade dragon flying quickly ahead.

The chief guard narrowed his eyes, increased his speed even more, and at the same time raised his hand. A light green, aurora-like thing enveloped the renegade dragon ahead.

The renegade dragon accelerated again, dodging this light, which made the great expert pause for a moment.

It could still go faster? This renegade dragon was somewhat unusual.

The chief guard maintained his speed, while his mental power began to scout the surroundings to see if there were any adult renegade dragons nearby.

About a minute later, the speed of the renegade dragon ahead began to slow down. The chief guard sneered coldly. Everything was within his expectations.

A body-type renegade dragon could increase its movement speed for a short time, but it could not last too long, especially during the juvenile period. The fact that this one had lasted one minute was already very good.

The distance between them rapidly closed.

A small, palm-sized net appeared in the chief guardʼs hand. He would throw it forward a bit more, and then he could cover this renegade dragon, waiting for His Highness to arrive before releasing it. But His Highness might be disappointed; this renegade dragonʼs strength was not very great.

He had only advanced two meters, however, when he suddenly stopped.

The surrounding scenery changed, and the renegade dragon disappeared.

The chief guard immediately realized that he had walked into a formation of the Su Clan people.

The next second, he saw a person sitting diagonally opposite him.

”Bronze Order Leader mask?”

There was no help for it; this mask was too famous. Even if one did not know that Ye Zhongming was the current Bronze Order Leader of the Star-Eye Clan, one knew the former owner of this mask. After all, that person had left a deep fear in the ten thousand races of the universe.

”That Novice number one?”

As a great expert of Huoʼer Star, he did not pay much attention to the Novice battlefield. If he were not someone close to Zimu, he probably would not even know who Ye Zhongming was.

But immediately, the great expert thought about many things.

Why did this person appear here? Why did the route he took chasing the renegade dragon coincidentally enter this formation? Why could this guy, who had just broke out of the Novice stage, wait calmly for him without any fear? Why was Ye Zhongmingʼs good friend, Zimuʼs rival in love, not here?

Something was definitely wrong. Under normal circumstances, such a person would certainly not dare to stop a great expert. So, what did he want to do?

Thinking of the relationship between that person called White Robe and His Highnessʼs rival in love, the great expert had a sudden realization. Between them, there was only this kind of problem.

They had come here to kill Zimu.

He did not ask any questions, nor did he laugh at the otherʼs overestimation of his own abilities. He was not that naive. Since the other party had come, they were not coming to die. They must have something to rely on.

The chief guard thought for a moment, then smiled.

”I heard that you, White Robe, Jie Su, and Yisewei are all good friends. Since you have come, it should be for your fellow clansman brother. Then White Robe himself certainly cannot not come, and Jie Su should also be here. I just do not know if you have other helpers. But I estimate that even if you have helpers, there will not be many, because this is a suicidal act. You probably kept even the Star-Eye Clan and the Su Clan in the dark, right?”

The chief guard did not seem anxious at all as he looked at Ye Zhongming and spoke.

”I am now somewhat worried for the Star-Eye Clan and the Su Clan. I wonder how they will face the Huo’er Starʼs questioning in the future, heh heh.”

Ye Zhongming did not move and did not answer this person.

”Setting up such a formation, are you trying to trap me? But, let alone whether you can trap me, if you think you can kill His Highness with White Robe and Jie Su and the few other helpers you have, you have miscalculated. His Highness is not a weakling that just anyone can kill. The six guards by his side are not something you can handle either.”

The chief guard personally trained those six guards. Together, they could fight him to a draw, equivalent to one great expert. Even if he himself did not return to reinforce them, Zimu would be fine.

He did not believe that such a group of trash could break through the defenses of those six guards.

The chief guard looked around. He found that he did not recognize this formation, which made him look at this group of trash with new eyes.

”The renegade dragon is your war beast? Or Jie Suʼs? But whose it is does not matter. It will soon no longer belong to you.”

The chief guard felt that using words to provoke this little Star-Eye creature at this time was very good. What he said was not due to underestimating the enemy or anything else, but rather because he wanted Ye Zhongming to activate the formation so he could see the situation and then decide what to do next.

From the time he entered the formation until now, the chief guard had not moved at all, which showed his caution.

”I let you say so much because I indeed wanted to create an opportunity for my brothers. I also believe they will definitely complete their goal, kill Zimu, and make your Huoʼer Star peopleʼs calculations fail. Yisewei belongs to White Robe, not to that ignorant prince of yours.”

Ye Zhongming spoke for the first time. ”Moreover, what I created this opportunity for was not to delay you. You donʼt think that after letting you see me, I would still let you go back to the Huoʼer Star peopleʼs side to report back, do you? So, I am here to... kill you.”
