Apocalypse Gachapon

Chapter 2170: Fighting for love (17)

Zimu had already recovered from his initial state of shock.

Because he saw that the person attacking him was only White Robe. Although Jie Su had appeared, he had immediately entered an enclosed formation with his own companions. As for that juvenile renegade dragon, its strength seemed too weak in his eyes and did not pose a threat.

And no other enemies were appearing around them.

In this state, Zimu did not feel he had anything to fear.

Speaking of fame among the cosmic races, he was naturally not as famous as White Robe. However, this was not his fault. After all, White Robe had gone around challenging people like a madman, his relationship with Isewi was well known to everyone, and everyone witnessed his performance in this yearʼs Novice battlefield.

But this was only in terms of fame; it did not mean the same applied to strength.

Even in terms of recognition, Zimu felt that he was far more famous than White Robe at a higher level.

At the very least, White Robe simply could not enter those banquets that only super-large clans and a few qualified large clans could attend.

In the eyes of people at that level, White Robe was just a country bumpkin. Who knew him?

Apart from fame, Zimu did not think this Silver Order Leader of the Star-Eye Clan had anything else that could compare with him.
Especially strength.

According to the information, what was White Robeʼs strength? Just over twenty thousand Furelai. And he, Zimu, was several times that!

Talent? Zimu was indeed much older than White Robe, but among the long-lived ten thousand races of the universe, the years of difference could completely be regarded as the same generation. What was talent? Those who were stronger within the same generation were considered talented. What was White Robe?

A madman who was hyped up by a small race.

Would he, Zimu, be afraid of someone like that? Zimu found it laughable in his heart.

His body leaned back slightly. With a ding sound, a metal ball flicked out from his arm, accurately hitting White Robeʼs weapon. The sound was not loud, but the Star-Eye Clan Silver Order Leaderʼs body came to a halt, and the attack lost its effect.

Zimuʼs heart grew even more contemptuous. He completely ignored the fact that he was the one being attacked. His two spiked gloves glowed faintly as they smashed toward White Robe, who had lost his momentum.

”You want to kill me? How overestimate your capabilities!” A black head appeared on his fist, crashing into a beam of light emitted by White Robe. Zimu shouted. His first fist achieved nothing, so he threw another punch.

On this fist, the head was no longer black but had turned green.

This was one of the Huoʼer Star peopleʼs close-combat secret arts, Suoduo Strike, a fast and vicious boxing technique.

After White Robe withstood the first punch, his attacking momentum ceased. When the second punch came, although he blocked it, he began to retreat.

”You canʼt do it! You really canʼt do it!” Zimu shouted, using the Suoduo Strike to its extreme. Countless fist shadows brought forth ferocious mist heads in black and green, constantly hammering against White Robeʼs defensive measures: some energy shields, some on his weapon, some on his equipment.

Although each punch did not break through White Robeʼs defense, they still made the Silver Order Leader retreat repeatedly.

”Without the advantage of a surprise attack, what do you have left? With just this, you think you can compete with me over a woman?”

Zimu had become addicted to fighting. He had thrown an unknown number of punches in an instant. Even if he had a chance to kill White Robe now, he did not want to. He only wanted to beat the guy in front of him like a punching bag, until at some point, he was turned into unrecognizable mincemeat.

The stormy offense and the impenetrable defense both showed their own strength. In such a life-and-death moment, it was fierce and violent.

”Explode!”

White Robe, who had been in a defensive state, shouted. Between him and Zimu, an explosion pushed them both backward.

”What? Energy Guidance?”

Zimu said in surprise.

Energy Guidance was not an ability or a cultivation method, but the name of a technique. It referred to the ability to delicately guide the surrounding chaotic, scattered energy during battle to achieve the userʼs desired purposes.

For example, what White Robe had just done was gather energy between himself and Zimu, then explode it at the right time, using the force to separate them and change his own unfavorable situation.

Strictly speaking, this was not some secret technique. Even the control methods and means could be found on the terminalʼs network in countless tutorials and even video demonstrations. But truly mastering it was very difficult, requiring an unknown number of dangerous trainings.

At least, Zimu could not do it now. He had practiced, but he had not even familiarised himself with it.

”If you were not born well, you would be nothing.” White Robe wore a mask, so his expression could not be seen, but the Silver Order Leaderʼs mask itself had a pattern of three parts teasing, three parts glaring, and three parts contempt. With these words, Zimuʼs anger rose sharply.

”Being born well is also a talent!” Zimuʼs hands, surrounded by mist, produced two short hammers. They did not look like weapons, but anyone familiar with the Huoʼer Star people or the Talos Red Dwarfs would know that these were ʼSpike Mansion Hammers,ʼ a vicious weapon that sent a portion of its power sweep into the targetʼs body with each attack.

This was a pair of Raini-grade weapons!

Clearly, White Robeʼs words had stung Zimu. He wanted to kill White Robe.

”Thunder Calamity!”

The Spike Mansion Hammers knocked against each other, making a clear sound. Then, electric currents flew out from each short hammer, quickly forming winding, snaking lightning bolts in the surrounding space.

Zimu appeared to be completely immersed in the lightning.

”Die. Dying under the Thunder Calamity is your honor!”

Zimu pressed forward. The surrounding lightning moved with him, instantly enveloping White Robe within it.

Although Zimuʼs inheritance rank was not high, and he had no real possibility of becoming the king of the Huoʼer Star people, he was still a prince after all. What he learned and obtained followed the highest standards: for example, the Raini-grade weapons in his hands, the close-combat secret technique and battle method Suoduo Strike, his main combat ability Thunder Calamity, and so on.

Added to his high Furelai, it was no wonder he had absolute confidence in killing White Robe.

But what he could not see was that beneath the mask, watching him show off his power, White Robe was actually smiling.

White Robe reached his hands behind him, pulling them back under his cloak. When they reappeared, each hand held two small bottles containing liquid.

As the surrounding lightning fell, he crushed the four bottles, scattering the liquid onto the protective gear on his body.

Then, shaking off the fragments, he collided with Zimu again without using any apparent weapon.

Countless lightning bolts fell on White Robeʼs body, creating electric sparks, engulfing both of them.
