Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

One night passed without a word.

In the morning, Li Younan naturally woke up, with a sliver of light shining through the gap in the sunshade curtain, illuminating his eyes.

He opened his eyes, felt a surge in his heart, and quickly sat upright, then fully opened the blackout curtain of the window.

Looking out the window, a frozen, snowy landscape immediately unfolded before him.

The snow-covered mountains across the lake were completely blanketed in pure white snow, with only faint specks of gray-black dotting the foothills.

The riverbank by Ranwu Lake was also covered in white snow, gradually transitioning to the ice-blue surface of the lake.

On this side of the lake, it was long covered by fluffy white snow, and the nearby branches were frosted, entwined with icicles and snow-white.

Li Younan took a deep breath, already eager with anticipation.

He swiftly tidied up his bed, dressed in clothes and snow boots, and opened the cabin door to go out.

The temperature outside instantly became a bit chilly as he opened the cabin door to the tent, which was still spacious inside, with the pull-out kitchen counter already stowed away.

Li Younan pondered what additions might be nice for the tent, calculating away as he reached the tent entrance and gently pulled open the tent flap.

A silvery-white environment met his eyes, composed only of blue skies, white clouds, snow mountains, and ice lakes, with no other colors.

Occasionally, a few birds flew past in the distance, clean as if he were in a fairy tale world, making Li Younan reluctant to leave footprints on the snow outside the tent.

He quickly went back inside the RV to fetch his camera, took several photos, including some of the sunlight on the snow-capped mountains, but regrettably, while these photos were beautiful enough to leave a prose writer at a loss for words, he still did not receive a notification of completing the check-in task.

Sure enough, the so-called ”sunlight on golden mountains” was definitely not a simple picture of the sun shining on the snow-capped peaks.

However, Li Younan didn’t feel disappointed at all; staying in such an environment never felt boring.

At that moment, the temperature hadn’t risen yet, and the clothes Li Younan wore seemed rather thin in comparison, just a leather jacket, feeling slightly chilly.

Last night’s snowstorm had laid a good ten centimeters thick blanket on the ground, emitting crunching sounds with every step taken nearby.

Anticipating the snowstorm last night, the solar panels had been stowed away in advance.

Now that the sun reappeared, Li Younan planned to set up the solar panels again.

Upon returning inside the RV, Liu Li was already awake.

The diesel heater had been running continuously, keeping the interior of the RV warm and cozy, making it comfortable even with only a single garment.

It’s worth mentioning that the diesel heater provides warmth through diesel combustion, with the only electrical component being a fan motor, which is widely known for its durability far beyond expectations, thus, its long-running operation posed no concerns of malfunction.

Because it was particularly warm, Liu Li was wearing her swimsuit from when she had soaked in the hot spring, the snow-white, straight legs dazzlingly appearing in Li Younan’s view.

Seeing the camera in Li Younan’s hands, Liu Li asked, ”Did you go out early to take photos?”

”Yeah, took a few shots.”

”I’d like to see them, is that okay?”

”Why are you speaking so politely?”

”Don’t I always speak politely?” Liu Li chuckled, took the camera from Li Younan’s hand, and comfortably leaned against the washbasin, earnestly flipping through the photos.

She silently browsed for a while, occasionally enlarging the images with two fingers, scrutinizing them seriously.

Unconsciously, she lifted one foot out of her slipper, arched her foot backwards, and placed her toes against the cabinet beneath the washbasin.

Although Liu Li rarely praised Li Younan’s photography skills directly, each time he took photos, she would spend a long time attentively viewing them.

Girls generally seem powerless against beautiful things, which naturally includes these nature landscape photos.

Though, there’s a bit more complexity to it — because the photos and reality vary, and she also takes pictures, making her feel not only affection for the beauty of the photos but also a tinge of admiration and... jealousy.

”What’s the trick to taking photos like this?” After a while, she tilted her head and asked Li Younan.

”The trick... is to capture the beautiful points of the scenery.”

”Uh, that’s too vague, isn’t there more specific techniques?”

”For specifics... pay attention to angular, diffuse light fields, utilizing gradients formed by color temperature differences. Use metering matrices to distinguish and control high-light, mid-gray, and shadow areas for overall exposure balance. Then, employ perspective compression or spatial extension effects, aligning with the Fibonacci spiral to create visual flow...”

”...”

”Hmm?”

”You might need to simplify it a bit more.”

”Haha, well... I mean, when shooting scenery, it can be summarized in a few words: borrowing light to regain spirit, structuring the bones, waiting for the right moment... of course, post-processing is needed for elevation.”

”Alright, I don’t think I can learn it, Li Younan, how do you do it?”

”Do what?”

”I mean, how did you learn so many things?”

”Uh, this... probably just talent.”

Liu Li didn’t doubt Li Younan’s mention of talent in the slightest. She felt all explanations paled in comparison to the authentic impact of these two words; what other reasonable explanation could there be other than talent? Nodding with a smile, she said, ”Li Younan, could you help me take a couple of photos?”
