Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

When he came to JK Long’s house again, Li Younan was already quite familiar with the place, although strictly speaking, this was only his third visit.

Standing at the door, Li Younan gently knocked, and as he waited for the door to open, many thoughts crossed his mind.

Even though Li Younan knew that JK Long’s real name was Liu Li, he was more accustomed to referring to her in his head as JK Long.

Because JK is cute.

Today’s visit was naturally due to JK Long’s invitation to show her his creation.

However, deep down, he still hoped he could somehow convince this adorable little girl to leave... Anyway, this was only wishful thinking.

After all, today JK Long had asked him over, so there was no need for him to take the initiative; let’s see what she had in mind.

With a click, the door opened, and it was Liu Yu who opened it. He still had that cold expression.

Li Younan felt that Liu Yu’s expression seemed a bit complicated.

But Li Younan didn’t care.

Upon entering the room and not seeing JK Long, he curiously asked, ”Where’s your sister?”

Upon hearing this question, Liu Yu felt a pang in his heart.

He sat down without pouring water for Li Younan, pondering how to bring up the issue with him.

While Li Younan was climbing the stairs, Liu Yu seriously considered that since his sister had made up her mind to go out with Li Younan, it would be best if he brought it up himself.

Regardless, his sister was a girl, and if she really had some story with Li Younan in the future... By the time he thought of this, he had already resigned himself a bit.

By this point, if nothing happened between them in the end, he might feel even worse.

Ha.

What a tangled and contradictory mindset.

Anyway, from any angle, it should be him to bring it up.

Liu Yu slowly spoke, ”My sister is inside changing clothes.”

”Oh, okay.” Li Younan replied, looking at Liu Yu with some confusion, ”What’s up?”

Because Liu Yu seemed overly serious, as if after much internal struggle, he finally decided to say something.

Liu Yu leaned forward a bit and said, ”I have a question.”

”Uh, go ahead, no need to be so serious.”

”Do you hope my sister gets better?”

Li Younan was momentarily stunned before almost instinctively replying, ”Of course.”

”Let me tell you something.”

”Hmm?”

”Before you joined the Alone in the Wilderness program, my sister once told me something.”

”What?”

”She knew you wanted to travel on Route 318 with an RV; she asked me if she could buy you a Unimog.”

Li Younan froze for a moment.

What?

Liu Yu sighed slightly, a self-deprecating smile appearing on his lips, ”Of course, the reason... besides my sister being silly enough to want to support your dream, there’s also the fact that she foolishly doesn’t know the price of a Unimog.”

”Oh, in short, according to what you’re saying, your sister is a bit silly.”

”You want to die?”

”Haha... Don’t be so serious.”

Afterwards, Liu Yu’s expression turned serious, ”You also know my sister’s situation; open spaces suffocate her.”

”Yet, she has to go out; going out is the only way her condition can improve. Staying in this small space will only make her more and more closed off.”

Liu Yu stood up, gazing into Li Younan’s eyes, saying, ”So, I have a request, I...”

Just as Liu Yu was about to speak, he suddenly heard sounds coming from his sister’s room, and he immediately stopped.

Liu Li opened the door and came out.

...

At this moment, Liu Li was wearing a JK uniform she hadn’t worn in a long, long time, which made Li Younan’s eyes slightly sparkle.

The JK outfit was a winter version, with a fleece-lined blazer on top, paired with a plaid skirt, warm leggings, and black leather shoes on her feet—so cute it was almost unbearable.

JK Long caught the surprise in Li Younan’s eyes, and for some reason, felt a bit happy. She lowered her head slightly and smiled, asking softly, ”You’re here?”

Li Younan touched his chin and smiled, generously complimenting, ”This outfit looks great... Is this a JK uniform?”

”Hehe, did you forget what my online name is?”

”Oh, turns out ’JK’ is that kind of JK?”

”Or what did you think it meant?”

”I always thought it meant ’hungry’ or ’hyperthyroid.’”

”Huh? Hungry Dragon? Hyperthyroid Dragon?”

JK Long was dumbfounded, her face turning dark, and then she said fiercely, ”Annoying!”

”Haha...”

Watching his sister and Li Younan chat away as if no one else was present, Liu Yu sighed and gently rubbed his forehead.

After chatting in the living room for a while, Liu Yu didn’t continue the previous topic, as he was suddenly interrupted by his sister and didn’t know how to resume the conversation.

After a while, it was Li Younan who brought it up: ”By the way, weren’t you interested in my car? Want to go down and take a look?”

This question suddenly created a subtle atmosphere, and Liu Yu glanced at his sister.

Sister Long’s heart started pounding, and she bit her lip gently, then nodded vigorously.

In fact, whether Li Younan was willing to take her out to play was secondary; the more important prerequisite was whether she could see the motorhome as her home...

And right now, the significant hurdle to overcome was the quite challenging distance from home to downstairs, and then into the motorhome.

Actually, Sister Long wasn’t entirely unable to leave home; after all, if she got sick, she had to leave.

In such situations, she would tightly grip her brother’s wrist, follow him to the stairs, and once the car door closed, she felt much more at ease.

At this moment, Li Younan’s Unimog motorhome was parked downstairs, but she wasn’t sure if it would bring the same sense of security as her brother’s car.

”By the way, is your car called Unimog?”

Li Younan shook his head: ”I named it Freedom.”

”Freedom? That name doesn’t sound nice.”

”Do you have any ideas?”

”Can I name it?”

”If it sounds good, then it’s okay, but if not, let’s stick with Freedom.”

”Hmph, I’ll definitely come up with a very nice name!”

A few casual words lightened the slightly tense atmosphere.

Sister Long stood up, walked to the door, and her long, beautiful hair gently swayed. She stopped and looked back at Li Younan and her brother: ”Let’s... go down!”

...

Sister Long held onto Liu Yu’s arm tightly as they walked in front, with Li Younan following behind, silently watching this scene, feeling a sensation that was hard to describe.

Sometimes, he thought it was quite strange; Sister Long’s condition seemed like something out of a comic book, difficult to imagine in real life, especially affecting a girl who looked straight out of a drawing.

He sighed lightly.

When they reached the motorhome, Li Younan quickly moved ahead and glanced back at Sister Long.

Visibly, her breathing became slightly more rapid, and she seemed to grip her brother’s hand a little tighter.

However, since Liu Yu was there, the symptoms weren’t more pronounced.

But one could imagine, without Liu Yu, Sister Long would likely have more severe physical symptoms.

Li Younan decided to thoroughly introduce his amazing vehicle, and to Sister Long’s greatest concern... its safety features!

He walked next to the carriage, smiled slightly, and gently knocked on a spot, causing a flip-open device to open gently.

Li Younan said, ”This is the advanced way to open it; you can actually open it manually here, but this is for emergencies. Usually, knocking to open it looks cooler and more impressive.”

Liu Yu rolled his eyes.

Li Younan continued, ”This is the door control lock, which can be opened in many ways: fingerprint, face recognition, password entry, and even remote control via mobile phone.”

Li Younan placed his finger on it, and the barely visible door seam ”snapped” open. Then, he pulled out a semi-hidden handle to open the door.

This thick door opened with a reassuring solidity.

As the door opened, the motorhome deployed its electric folding stairs.

Li Younan made a welcoming gesture.

Sister Long and Liu Yu exchanged a glance and walked in together.

To be honest, the Unimog is nearly 6 meters long, excluding the cab, with the habitable motorhome area being only 3.6 meters long, offering less than 8 square meters of usable space.

Yet, due to its height, the entire motorhome feels very spacious.

However, it was slightly regrettable that the motorhome hadn’t yet been equipped with electronics, so from a housing perspective, it had only just completed its soft furnishings.

But this didn’t detract from the fact that the motorhome had a high degree of completion, even from Liu Yu’s picky and critical perspective, evoking a bit of envy.

Then, he snapped back to reality, quickly looking at his sister.

Previously distracted by the motorhome’s interior, he almost forgot to check on his sister’s state.

But when he looked at her, he was first taken aback, then sighed gently, and a complex smile appeared on his face—she had even let go of his hand voluntarily.

Sister Long’s breathing had stabilized a lot, seemingly forgetting she was outside. Her big eyes curiously observed the motorhome’s environment, with no signs of nervousness or panic.

At that moment, Li Younan came in too, casually closing the door. With a deep ”thud,” the motorhome became extremely quiet.

Li Younan grinned, saying, ”Doesn’t it feel like you’re suddenly isolated from the outside noise? That’s because the vehicle’s sealing level is almost at the IP68 class.”

”So to speak, as long as you don’t open the hatch willingly, even soaking in water for half an hour won’t let a drop in.”

”But of course, if you feel stuffy, you can open the outer windows.”

As he said this, Li Younan casually pulled on the wall.

Only then did Liu Yu see that there was a glass window there.

When the window was opened, there was also an armored sliding window integrated with the vehicle’s body.

Li Younan pushed it open, and a window with an awning let in light from outside.

Li Younan smirked proudly, ”Come, come, let me give you two siblings a detailed introduction to my doomsday war fortress!”
