Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

JK Long hesitated over and over, and silently nodded.

At this moment, Li Younan had already skillfully restored the sofa to its original state, taking out some exquisite wellness kettles from the storage cabinet beside him. Then, he demonstrated a special detail to the brother and sister duo—this table actually had a water system installed, allowing a thin metal pipe to be pulled up to directly dispense water.

This is the advantage of being skilled in plumbing; a small design detail that provides a full emotional feedback.

Li Younan filled the wellness kettle with some fruit tea and set it on the induction cooker to brew, saying, ”Since you’re here, let’s have some afternoon tea. In my refrigerator, there’s a Black Forest cake and a matcha cake, both bought from Holiland on the way.”

JK Long sat down silently again, watching Li Younan skillfully prepare, feeling somewhat agitated for a moment.

She finally spoke up, ”What I mean is... Do you plan to go on the road alone?”

Li Younan hesitated for a moment, but looked at Liu Yu next to him, and the words changed direction, ”If conditions allow, of course, I hope someone can come with me. Traveling with someone would be more... comfortable.”

”What do you mean by conditions?”

The silent Liu Yu finally stood up, interrupted his sister, and said to Li Younan, ”You and I should get off the car first. I have something to tell you.”

Li Younan hesitated for a moment, looked at JK Long, ”Will she be okay here alone?”

JK Long looked surprised, didn’t understand what her brother was doing, but seeing his eyes, she seemed to understand something. Her face flushed slightly, and she lowered her head, saying, ”I... I’m fine. You two talk about what you need to. Don’t worry about me.”

Only then did Li Younan get off the car with Liu Yu, ”What’s up? Tell me.”

Liu Yu silently gazed into the distance for a while, sighed softly, and then looked at Li Younan, slowly saying, ”I wanted to tell you at home earlier, but was interrupted by my sister. Do you remember the topic we discussed just now?”

Li Younan realized something, his expression turned a bit more serious, and he nodded, ”You want your sister to get better.”

”I want you to take my sister with you.”

This time, Liu Yu didn’t hesitate at all, and said it unexpectedly.

Li Younan was momentarily stunned and blinked, feeling a bit bewildered.

He had considered many possibilities, but never thought her brother would propose this.

Li Younan coughed, saying, ”Well...”

Liu Yu saw Li Younan hesitating and immediately snorted, his expression beginning to show a little anger, ”What’s wrong? Do you think my sister is a burden? She’s done so much for you... You just said you hope she gets better...”

Facing Liu Yu’s sudden anger, Li Younan quickly explained, ”Uh, that’s not what I meant. I mean, would your sister agree? After all, she seems to be quite a reserved girl.”

Liu Yu was also stunned for a moment and earnestly scrutinized Li Younan’s expression, feeling a somewhat absurd sensation.

Unexpectedly, what Li Younan had been concerned about was actually this.

At the same time, he found it somewhat amusing, and then sighed long and deeply—he has sighed more today than he has in the past year.

However, this made Liu Yu a bit happy because it showed that in Li Younan’s heart, his sister’s image... is perfect.

He decided to maintain the image of his sister in Li Younan’s mind and said seriously, ”You’re right, what if my sister refuses? So, here’s the plan, let me persuade her, you wait outside.”

Li Younan nodded.

Liu Yu walked to the car door, suddenly stopped, turned back to Li Younan, and said seriously, ”If... I mean if, I persuade my sister to go 318 with you, you must promise me not to bully my sister, in any sense. Do you understand?”

Li Younan rolled his eyes, ”Naggy.”

Liu Yu was speechless, and finally still got on the car.

Li Younan waited silently under the car for a while, reflecting on the events happening now, feeling both happy and sad.

Even though it was Liu Yu who proposed this, what if JK Long misunderstood?

If... it ruins her perfect image in his eyes...

This depends on how dependable Liu Yu is at handling things.

Just as he was thinking this, the door opened again, Liu Yu walked slowly to Li Younan, and under his expectant gaze, seriously said, ”I’ve persuaded my sister.”

Ah? So quickly?

Liu Yu patted Li Younan’s shoulder, and this time, he seriously said, ”Take care of my sister.”

Li Younan felt a slight tremor in his heart; he saw something very complex in Liu Yu’s gaze and put aside his joking mood, seriously nodded.

This is a man’s promise.

...

Li Younan drove his mighty, domineering RV, swaggering off.

He still needs to purchase quite a few household appliances and has some details to perfect, so generally speaking, he will be busy for a while longer.

JK Long watched as Li Younan’s car disappeared at the horizon, her mind wandering about several things. As she thought, her mouth unconsciously curved into a smile... she began to laugh.

This was her happiest day in the last year, this sheer joy that Li Younan could not feel.

Even that fool probably won’t empathize with why she is so happy.
