Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

At the moment, it’s Liu Li’s first time seeing it, so she finds it novel and stays outside longer than before, seemingly almost forgetting she’s a patient.

Li Younan watched Liu Li squatting on the ground looking at a marmot hole with some amusement, and reminded her, ”Feeling okay today?”

Liu Li glanced back at Li Younan.

You could see fine beads of sweat on her forehead, a sign of somatic response.

But she kept in mind the doctor’s advice, to gradually overcome resistance, and eventually, her body would slowly adapt to being outside, cultivating a belief in her subconscious that ”outside is not dangerous.”

So she had been diligently adapting.

Liu Li stood up and wiped the sweat off her forehead, ”I’m feeling pretty good, I think I can stay outside longer now.”

Liu Li’s answer was more or less what Li Younan had expected.

So if one day Liu Li suddenly manages to stay outside like a normal person, Li Younan wouldn’t be surprised, at least the current trend of things offers a glimmer of hope.

But then Liu Li asked about something else instead.

She slowly walked over to Li Younan, sat on the meadow by the roadside, and gazed into the distance as she started speaking, ”Li Younan, shall we have a chat?”

In fact, Li Younan would talk to Liu Li for a long time every day, but it was the first time the other party had proposed it so solemnly.

Li Younan sat down next to her and said, ”What do you want to talk about?”

”What’s the most interesting thing for boys and girls to talk about?”

”Uh, that’s a question...”

”Hehe, hard to answer, isn’t it?”

”Not really hard. Between boys and girls, of course, discussing... romance is the most interesting.” Li Youran had a mischievous look in her eyes.

Liu Li’s face turned slightly red, ”Li Younan, how many times have you been in love?”

”Why do you ask?”

”Curious.”

”Hmm...”

Li Younan paused as if in thought.

Liu Li glanced at Li Younan, then silently looked away, ”Do you need to think about this question? If you don’t want to say, it’s okay.”

”There’s nothing I mind saying.” Li Younan shook her head, ”Counting it, I’ve had a few.”

”When was your first love?”

”Middle school, I think.”

Liu Li widened her eyes at Li Younan, ”You, you had a relationship in middle school?”

Li Younan looked at Liu Li with amusement, ”What’s there to be surprised about?”

Liu Li awkwardly withdrew her gaze, tilted her head in thought for a moment, then shook her head, ”In middle school, I felt like I didn’t understand anything, and you were already in a relationship? Is it... my own issue?”

”Haha, it’s not that complicated. In middle school, a girl wrote me a love letter, and because she was quite cute, I accepted it, and we got together.”

”Details?”

”Details are chargeable.”

”Annoying.”

”Haha.”

”So... did you, did you kiss?”

”Heh.”

”You kissed?”

”Really want to know, huh?”

”Then let me change the question, was it her initiative or yours?”

”Hers.”

”So you did kiss...”

”Haha.”

”So, a girl kissed you, and you accepted it?”

”Yeah.”

”Just because she was cute?”

Li Younan said seriously, ”Isn’t that the most important reason?”

Li Younan looked off into the distance, the wind gently blowing through his hair, ”For boys, liking a girl comes without complicated reasons, being cute is enough.”

Liu Li shook her head, ”That’s just you boys. For girls, the reasons are more varied, needing sunshine, attentiveness, thoughtfulness, tenderness, and bravery...”

Her eyes began to seem a bit unfocused, and as she described that figure in her heart, the image gradually became clearer when she looked at Li Younan.

Li Younan unceremoniously poured cold water on her fantasy, ”All unrealistic dreams.”

”Who says they’re unrealistic, such people surely exist,” Liu Li retorted with a frown.

Li Younan chuckled, ”You’ve never been in a relationship, how would you know?”

Yet, after saying that, Liu Li fell silent.

Li Younan felt a pang in his heart, realizing he said the wrong thing.

After all, this girl had closed herself off after middle school, and bringing this up was a bit too much.

Ah, such a headache, being so careful all this way, and yet messing up on this little thing.

Thankfully, though, Li Younan always had a way to coax these young girls. As he was about to say something, Liu Li suddenly raised her head, ”What does being in a relationship feel like?”

”Uh, this...” Li Younan paused, thinking for a moment before saying, ”This isn’t easy to describe with words, you’d best experience it yourself.”

Liu Li silently stood up, and it was only then that she realized she had been outside for such a long time, the fear of open spaces seeming to creep further away.

But Li Younan’s words lingered in her ears, making her cheeks feel hot.

She quickly turned around, opened the door to the living area, and threw out a sentence, ”It’s not so easy to experience yourself, not having anyone.”

Then with a ”bang,” she hid inside the vehicle.

...

After setting off again, the journey became more compact.

A few days later, Li Younan drove through Litang and the village of Daocheng Yading, then returned to Litang, before continuing from there towards Batang and Mangkang.
