Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Although Li Younan livestreamed every day while building the motorhome, with jk Long almost witnessing its creation throughout the process, in reality, Li Younan only streamed for one or two hours each day.

If the duration were even longer, not only would it tire the streamer, but viewers would also find it dull.

So, even jk Long isn’t all that familiar with the motorhome. Most of his impressions involve Li Younan doing woodworking and decorations.

At this moment, Li Younan couldn’t wait to show the siblings his pride and joy—the motorhome!

Regarding the layout of the structural space, there’s not much to introduce from what the eye can see.

Not counting the cockpit, although the internal space is only 3.6 meters in length, the whole vehicle actually takes advantage of a legal loophole. That is, the driving license was obtained in its bare vehicle state, but after the paperwork was completed, he installed a retractable platform at the rear for spare tires and motorcycles, expanding the usable area.

This configuration counts as an extension piece, and generally, traffic police won’t check these modifications.

”Let me first introduce to you the electrical and water systems of my motorhome.”

Li Younan spoke with some excitement, pointing to the control panel at the entry, saying, ”These two screens display real-time information on the motorhome’s electrical and water systems.”

Liu Yu and jk Long leaned in for a look. The display panel showed the water level, power, and real-time status of different areas at a glance.

Li Younan said: ”I programmed this control system myself, which means there’s no unnecessary functionality—it’s perfectly tailored for this motorhome, and most importantly, it’s safe.”

He continued, ”Regarding power, the box uses a 50-kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery pack. Outside, there are two charging ports, just like all the market’s new energy vehicles, able to connect directly to fast and slow charging stations.”

When traveling, any place with a charging station can recharge the vehicle.”

Liu Yu frowned slightly, ”What if you end up in places without charging stations in the wilderness?”

Li Younan chuckled, ”The infrastructure is quite advanced now, so as long as there’s a county, there should be charging stations; it’s rare not to find one.”

”But even if there are none, don’t worry.”

Li Younan operated the control panel, sliding out an option. Liu Yu glanced at it; it was the option to start the generator.

Li Younan further asked, ”And if you find yourself needing long-term stays in particularly beautiful places, how do you manage electricity?”

”The answer is simple: gasoline. The motorhome has an integrated gasoline generator specifically supplying power to the living cabin, with a 40-liter fuel tank.”

”One liter of gasoline can generate 3.3 kilowatt-hours of electricity; with 40 liters, it can provide at least 130 kilowatt-hours. Accounting for the vehicle’s power itself, you’d essentially have 180 kilowatt-hours for a trip, allowing for long-term use.”

”But what if you face extreme conditions without gasoline?”

Li Younan tapped the screen again, revealing the option to deploy the solar panels.

Pointing to the vehicle’s ceiling, Li Younan said, ”There’s an openable device on top, with a solar panel of 5 kilowatts total power, which is one of the most advanced brands domestically, with an efficiency of 25.4% and an area of only 5 square meters.”

”On the plateau with strong, sunny weather, it can work at full capacity. If all goes well, you could almost have power without worries.”

Liu Yu mentally calculated that if it generates 5 kilowatt-hours per hour, a few hours under the sun could almost fully charge the vehicle’s battery pack.

As well-known, even household electricity is only a few kilowatt-hours a day, combined with the backup gasoline generator. Li Younan’s point about not worrying over electricity in this vehicle rings true.

Liu Yu felt somewhat complicated, starting to envy this motorhome.

Then, Li Younan continued, ”The electrical layout of the living area has been meticulously designed, with power ports reserved everywhere, just waiting for appliances to be installed later. I’ll explain this in detail later.”

Liu Yu nodded, ”What about your water usage?”

Li Younan confidently replied, ”Water usage is indeed a top concern for anyone living in a motorhome.”

Li Younan operated the panel to open the water source management device, saying, ”The water system is also meticulously designed, mainly relying on the vehicle’s two water tanks—firstly, the clean water tank with 500 liters capacity.”

To be honest, this water tank is quite large; if the vehicle weren’t large enough, just filling the clean water tank would mean 500 kilograms.

A typical family’s daily water usage is about 50 liters; if they shower frequently, it could hit around 100 liters. Excessively high water usage might even attract the attention of criminal investigators knocking at your door.

When traveling, even two people would find 50 liters daily to be a large amount.
