Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

The night isn’t very deep, but because the day is rather short, it’s already pitch dark outside.

The light inside the RV is cozy. The girl and the handsome guy sit casually on the sofa bed, playing the PS5 game ”It Takes Two” on the television.

After trying three times in a row, they finally defeated the first level boss.

Liu Li puts down the controller and opens her arms towards Li Younan.

Li Younan hesitates for a moment, his first thought is... so soon?

Is it... time for a hug?

He wasn’t quite ready for it.

Oh well, if it’s happening, let’s go for it, a hug for great friendship...

Liu Li giggles and says, ”You don’t get it? High-five!”

Li Younan blinks, his raised hand freezes for a moment, maintaining his composure as he says, ”I know, of course I know, it’s just a high-five...”

He gives Liu Li a high-five.

Liu Li is extremely pleased.

She had always wanted to play this game, but her brother wouldn’t play with her — this game requires two players. Online reviews rave about how fun it is, sometimes she couldn’t help but complain about her uninteresting brother... The one time he agreed to play, he was nagging all along, and because of his lack of skills, they didn’t even pass the first level.

But Li Younan was completely different; not only does he play, he loves playing.

His gaming skills are impressive, with a quick reaction speed, he’s a gaming expert.

When it comes to gaming, Liu Li would not usually give in easily, but she was held up by the first level boss, primarily due to her own mistakes.

They didn’t play for too long.

After clearing the first level, they decided to take a break.

Even though they hadn’t driven the car for very long today, Li Younan had been busy bustling around all day, feeling a bit tired.

As for Liu Li, she had stayed up last night because she was too excited thinking about today’s departure, unable to sleep, and now her drowsiness was kicking in, making her yawn twice.

Soon after, she noticed Li Younan also seemed ready for bed, so she stood up obediently and retrieved the mattress and blanket for him from below.

Even though the temperature outside the campsite was just a few degrees, this RV has a very comprehensive heating system, maintaining a constant temperature of 24°C. Several outlets for the warm air are located strategically near the floor of the vehicle.

Anyone who has studied physics knows that hot air rises. With a rational layout and effective wood-burning heater, the entire RV feels warm and cozy, even if you only cover yourself with a light blanket, it won’t be cold.

After Liu Li took out the bedding, she stepped back, blinking her large eyes, and did not speak for a moment.

Li Younan glanced at Liu Li curiously. During their brief eye contact, he noticed a look in her eyes that seemed to want to speak but was embarrassed, leaving him puzzled. He couldn’t help but ask, ”What’s up?”

Liu Li waved her hand and whispered, ”I... I want to take a shower, can you lower the curtain first?”

Li Younan paused for a moment, then realized and coughed, ”Sure, go ahead and shower.”

He called out, ”Asrada, help me lower the privacy curtain for the sofa bed.”

The AI voice responded, ”Got it, master.”

Soon, the curtain on the ceiling quietly lowered.

So it was that Li Younan, sitting on the sofa bed, had a private space.

However, this private space was for the protection of the person outside.

Li Younan found it amusing because Liu Li’s loft bed also had a privacy curtain; she could obviously go up to her bed to change into her shower clothes first.

But Li Younan understood the little girl’s thoughts—boys generally feel handsome after showering, while girls often feel the exact opposite.

Girls feel they’re at their worst right after a shower, so they probably don’t want anyone to see them in that state.

Li Younan heard the sounds from outside the privacy curtain, Liu Li climbing onto her bed, pulling the curtain, and then the rustling sounds of changing clothes, followed by the sound of slippers.

Not long after, the shower water finally started flowing in the bathroom.

Listening to these sounds, Li Younan lay on the bed, feeling an indescribable comfort.

He reflected on his time Alone in the Wilderness in Canada; if Liu Li had been there, he felt he could’ve stayed for another year or two without a problem, but the place was just too lonely.

Girls take quite a bit of time to shower, and Li Younan was almost asleep, then he heard the bathroom door open, followed by Liu Li’s shy voice, ”I... I’ve finished, you can go freshen up.”

That’s when Li Younan snapped out of it, opened the curtain, only to find Liu Li already in bed with her privacy curtain pulled up, seeing only a faint shadow within and the humming sound of a hairdryer.

Li Younan got up with a little bit of regret and went to freshen up.

Boys are much simpler; Li Younan rinsed off quickly, washing away the day’s fatigue.

Returning to bed, Liu Li’s hair was dry, and it was quiet.

Li Younan lay down, realizing how comfortable this bed truly was, and how quiet the surroundings were, even more comfortable than sleeping at home.

He thought, how wonderful, today is just the first day, this relaxed lifestyle has only just begun.

...

Since they were both quite sleepy, they didn’t chat.

The final conversation of the day was Li Younan asking, ”Are you asleep?”
