Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Li Younan helped Liu Li take the luggage down. The car was parked at the stairway entrance, and several passersby stopped to admire it. Seeing someone who looked like the car owner come down, they all praised, ”Wow, this car is awesome. Is it yours?”

Li Younan smiled and gave a simple response to the onlookers’ attention.

Then, Liu Yu brought his sister to join them by the car.

Liu Li avoided the gaze of the onlookers. After Li Younan opened the car door, she quickly got inside.

Li Younan closed the door properly. Liu Yu was still planning to say a few things to Li Younan, but Li Younan shrugged, ”Alright, I know whatever you want to say. Don’t worry. A man who can turn living alone in the Canadian wilderness into a vacation, your sister with me is definitely safe and sound!”

The people around all showed a knowing expression. Though they didn’t understand much about the Canadian wilderness, they could roughly see their relationship.

Their looks all implied... ”Oh, it’s the brother-in-law sending off the sister and brother-in-law.”

Liu Yu was a bit helpless but didn’t bother to explain to the bystanders. Because of what Li Younan said, it would seem pretentious to be wishy-washy about it, so he just snorted, ”I wasn’t going to say anything, alright, you guys head off early. Where’s your destination today?”

”The 318 self-driving base camp in Ya’an. We’ll start from there,” Li Younan casually said, ”But before heading to the 318 base camp, I need to buy some supplies. I plan to buy them in Chengdu, so I won’t fuss about it in Ya’an, just rest directly. I want to travel slowly for the whole journey.”

Liu Yu nodded: ”That sounds good, my sister can also adapt a bit. She hasn’t traveled far like this since middle school.”

No more delay; it’s really time to set off now.

Li Younan entered through the driver’s cabin door. Liu Li wasn’t in the passenger seat; she entered the living cabin through the connecting door.

At this time, Liu Li was putting her luggage into a cabinet, obediently sitting on the sofa, and fastening her seatbelt.

We must praise this electromagnetic suspension. Thanks to its presence, even when the road is bumpy, unless it’s an absurdly bumpy off-road section, there’s basically no feeling inside the car. It’s like sitting on a maglev train, so even if there are some cups and tea sets on the table, they won’t get bumped off.

When Li Younan entered, Liu Li had just fastened her seatbelt and was fiddling with a small spout on the table that was connected to a purification system, allowing water to flow directly for making tea.

When Li Younan came in, she embarrassedly withdrew her hand and stuck out her tongue.

Seeing this scene, Li Younan couldn’t help but find it amusing, ”Are you just going to stay in here?”

Liu Li hesitated for a moment. To be honest, being in this RV cabin felt very secure and steady. The windows are double-layered, completely blocking light. If not opened from inside, it’s a completely enclosed space.

She hesitated for a moment and then quietly unbuckled her seatbelt, ”I-I’ll go to the front with you.”

Entering through the connecting door, Liu Li saw her brother still standing there through the glass window and gave him a small smile.

Li Younan didn’t plan to give the siblings more time for mushy moments, started the car, the diesel engine roared to life, and finally, they drove off.

Liu Yu stood in place, silently watching the RV drive away, his gaze following it for a long time.

The onlookers thought he looked lonely.

A kind-hearted older lady patted Liu Yu’s shoulder, smiled, and said, ”Your brother-in-law looks like a good young man.”

The corner of Liu Yu’s mouth twitched slightly; in the end, he didn’t explain anything.

...

For most people, riding in a truck is undoubtedly an extremely rare experience.

In fact, before purchasing this Unimog RV, Li Younan had never been in such a big vehicle.

Liu Li, who rarely went out, certainly never had this experience.

Inside the car, she curiously looked around.

It’s worth mentioning that the Unimog’s cockpit is not luxurious, but with a width of 2.4 meters, the entire cockpit is very spacious. Additionally, Li Younan upgraded the interior and seats of the vehicle because he spends a lot of time in the driver’s seat.

The passenger seat is as comfortable as the sofa.

At this moment, Liu Li still hadn’t adjusted from her previous excitement; her eyes kept moving around the instruments and equipment in the car, occasionally showing curiosity and confusion.

Li Younan chuckled, ”If you want to ask anything, just ask.”

Liu Li shyly shook her head, thought for a while, and took out her phone to film Li Younan, ”I’ll take a video of you.”

Li Younan nodded, ”OK, no problem.”

”What is this thing?”

”This is the light controller. There’s a row of high-powered spotlights on the front of the car. You must have seen them; they’ll be very useful in the wild.”

”Oh, what about this one?”

”This is a car radio. If we get to places in the wilderness with no signal, the radio can still connect with the outside world. Of course, you need an operator’s license.”

”Do you have one?”

”Me? I’m top-notch.”

”Not modest at all, hehe.”

After a few simple chats, Liu Li’s tension slightly eased.

Li Younan drove the car to the Sam’s Club. The items there are in large packaging, suitable for stocking up on supplies.
